ERS has released a lot of boring, cute, and easy games lately, but this latest release shows us what they can really do, and they did an excellent job with the latest installment of Shadow Wolf Mysteries!
Well, ERS has ruined almost all of their series with the boring, cute, and easy gameplay as I said above, and Shadow Wolf is one of the few series they haven't ruined, so I was nervous about this one. But this is definitely not one of those games, as we see creepiness such as blood, death, and werewolves, which were nicely done in 3D! The gameplay is average, not Eipix easy or Elephant hard, which I liked. There are 3 difficulty modes, as well as a custom mode so you can set it to your preferences. There are a lot of cool things in the game, like the Analyzer, which has you answering simple questions to figure out what an unknown item is. There's also a magnifying glass feature, where you can look at each character and make observations and deductions, which are recorded in a special spot in your journal. The hidden object scenes are well done, and vary from the list type to the interactive type, which ERS started. The puzzles are also good but not terribly original. The storyline seems interesting, as well. Who is the werewolf?
This is a very entertaining ERS game, and it is extremely well done, if not one of their best games. But be sure to try it for yourself to see if you like it or not.
I recommend this game!

The Lord of Statues was a very innovative and challenging game, and this follow up does not disappoint! We start off with the lovable Princess finally meeting her mother, only to see her kidnapped by evil trees! With Princess's help and some familiar friends, it's time to solve this mystery and reunite the family that's been apart too long. The graphics are a little dark, as is the atmosphere, but they are OK. The character animation is spectacular, but I wish the developers would include lip animation. The game is a little short, I finished it in about three hours, but it is definitely worth it, and the ending is so sweet! The bonus chapter adds an interesting twist, but it isn't that great. It's a small(and I mean small) step down from Lord of Statues, but it's an awesome game!
I recommend this game!

It's been over a year since the phenomenal Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers, and many have been waiting for the sequel. While this game isn't very attached to the first one, there are a few elements in common, such as masked villains and collectible figurines that advance the story. Other than that, Legend of the Snow Kingdom is a very good game, with impressive visuals and fun gameplay. The game was a very long one, it took me about four and a half hours to finish the main game, and another hour for the bonus chapter, which ties in more with the first game. Legend of the Snow Kingdom provides a fantastic gaming experience. It is visually wonderful and a very entertaining game to play.
I recommend this game!

2014 has barely started, and already BFG has given us a great game in every sense! The storyline is original, which is hard to do nowadays because, well, there aren't many concepts that haven't been grasped by other developers. I'm very impressed that a new developer hasn't started off by using a familiar concept, which makes this a promising new developer in my opinion. The graphics are crystal clear and great to look at, the gameplay is relatively easy but fun and smooth, and the music is very entertaining and doesn't get annoying. The graphics, gameplay, and soundtrack work harmoniously together to not only create a great gaming experience, but to enhance it as well. If the developer reads this review, you have made a very good start and I wish you best of luck in your HOPA development journey.
I recommend this game!

I really, REALLY liked Dark Minotaur and was excited to see how this one would turn out. I was expecting some cute, as ERS is now following this trend, but it's a fantasy game. The storyline is pretty easy to figure out, you need the Silver Arrow to marry your prince which has been stolen by a jealous witch who was our co-villain in the previous game. The gameplay is easy, but engaging and fun. Along the way, you get a somewhat cute furby-like helper named Romas who translates the animal language. It was an interesting concept in my opinion, but it eventually got annoying as he was used to often. The graphics are clear, as usual, and they're still the same ERS art style, which, in my opinion, is the only "same old, same old" in this game. As mentioned before, the cute factor has gone noticeably down, as we see a bleeding bear and some ugly termites, and a neutral 3D owl, which was stunning. Overall, this is a fun and appealing game, but it is very easy.
