My friend, who loves Nancy Drew, told me this was the hardest so far and i needed to try it. so i entered the game with an optimistic attitude and found it quite fun, but very very long.
i'm going to list the pros and cons.
i'm going to list the pros and cons.
pros:
*it is one of the most challenging ND games i have played, and i was asking "WHO DUNNIT?" every second. it was a huge surprise, too. and i love surprises!
*a lot of people say that nancy spends too much time doing maid duty and kitchen duty. i actually didnt mind much. i actually found myself walking around doing nothing waiting for my next kitchen duty time.
*most of the minigames were fun. most of them...
*the people are nice to talk to. a few ND games i've played, it seems like nobody is friendly.

*i spent literally 3 hours on the fox and geese game. literally 3 hours. my sister was helping me but gave up and went to watch downton abbey and left me trying to beat the stupid thing. i was so close to buying a cheat that glitched the game to where i didnt have to play it to go on.
*a lot of objects trigger other parts of the game and if you dont click on a certain object, then you cant go on until you find that object and read or use it.

Nancy will some point say "call 1-555-MYSTICO and prepared to be amazed" when she's in the bathroom. call that number and talk to mystico. ask for something special and do what he tells you to do. (im not saying how to do it!) then call him again and asked to be hypnotized. after this you are able to enter the locked room upstairs! and after you go into the room, you can go to sleep and nancy will have a cool dream!

It's important to know when to investigate and when to seek shelter in Nancy Drew: The Trail of the Twister!

this is a very easy ND game, but it was fun enough to finish through.
pros:
*driving around in the cars are fun at first, but get boring as the game goes on.
*most people are friendly and fun to talk to.
*most of the games are lots of fun, but VERY time consuming.
*it was fun to take pictures and learn about twisters

cons:
*the stupid mouse trap game and the dumb circuit game are fun at first, but you have to do them over and over again and you get extremely bored and it would be nice to skip them.
*the people treat you like their maid, and then theres the stupid bedtime. "nancy, go to bed!" is the worst sound ever, because i always love getting up at midnight and sneaking around in other ND games.
*its easy to die by crashing into stuff while driving. and the birds eye view when you drive makes it worse.

i didnt like this game at all. i'm trying to think of some "pros" of the game, but the only ones i can think of are these:
pros:
*its nice to feel like your actually in Japan, and the garden is beautiful.
*i liked correcting the little kids homework.

*the old woman talks WAY too slow, and the conversations are WAY too long and its super time consuming and your sitting there waiting for the conversation to end.
*unless your a math geek, your gonna hate some of the mini games that you HAVE to do.
*who has a robotic cat? (this is just a random opinion. i thought the robotic cat was stupid and weird and unnecessary.)
*too much scare, not enough sleuthing. the ghost girl popped up too much, and i didnt even finish the game i got so bored with it. i dont really care how it ends anyway.

this is probably my least favorite ND game, and HerInteractive really did a poor job making the game. they definitly could have done better.

Play as Nancy Drew and find an unearthly artifact before it falls into the wrong hands!

being an expert on all things nancy drew, i thought i would be able to play this game with much ease. i found it difficult as i got further into the game, and i had to have my sister help me.
pros:
*things to find are in difficult spots which make it so much fun
*theres lots of places to explore
*you can play as Bess, which i love to do in ND games.
*the game gives a good "scare" factor. not really scary, but walking through the tombs alone in your bedroom with the lights off can be pretty bone chilling.
*the mini games are lots of fun, especially the one with Bess.
*its very challenging, and a very long game, too. although i only had to use a walk through on one puzzle
cons:
*theres only two people to talk to, besides the people on your cell phone. it gets boring to talk to the same people over and over again.
*i hate the stupid deadly mosquito things. i always had to get the stupid fruit over and over because i kept dying from the mosquito things.
*the puppet in the attic creeps me out.... but thats just my opinion.

i would recomend this for people who have had expierience with ND. if you are a beginner, this is probably not your cup of tea.

there was lots of fun things to do in the game, but i have lots of "dislikes" about it. i really do like the game though.
cons:

i guess it was easier for me, since i watched my sister play these games when i was but a wee one. i memorized all of the things in the games and didnt realize this until i had come back to playing nancy drew and i found i had remembered much from watching my sister play.
this is a fun, but long game.

When i started playing, i was really excited and expected a real challenge. i didn't get much of a challenge, and it was very easy.
pros:
*its fun playing as Nancy's friends, but switching between them is a waste of time.
*the mini games are lots of fun, and you get obsessed with some of them, like the game in the antique shop.
*the story line was really good. the "criminal" really thought every thing out, but it was pretty obvious who it was about halfway through the game.
*i loved being able to stuff myself with however much virtual ice cream i wanted.
