A previous gamer's review referred to this game as "asinine". I couldn't believe that a game could be so bad as to warrant such a label. I had to download to find out for myself. Now, I wouldn't go so far as to call it asinine. However, I'd have to say it is not fun, not challenging, not grammatically correct, has typos, doesn't make a whole lot of sense, AND has no viable plot / story line. A lot can be overlooked for an outstanding story and decent graphics. This had neither. In fact, the interface was very "jumpy". In any case, this game did get a high review from another gamer. Since hope does spring eternal, download this game to see if you like it. I didn't and I don't recommend it.
I don't recommend this game.

How could any tom-boy not be enchanted with a time management that has an easy level but is challenging and stuff gets blown up?! I am 45 but still a tom-boy at heart, my son says I am a "tom-man". In any case, this game was quite fun! One has opposing sea vessels that need to blown up befor thy get to "base". The graphics are clear and good. I played with sound off so my husband doesn't know what I'm up to. As soon as the demo was up, I was frustrated that I still had "stuff to blow up!"-- so I bought the game. There are many levels of difficulty so the ultra TM nerd can give it a go. Easy was stimulating enough for me.
I recommend this game!

nahh, not shrews but giant rats. All I could think of when I saw the antagonistic beasties was the B film from the '50's, "The Killer Shrews". The graphics are good, the story starts out spooky, but tends to drag as the game continues. The plot is typical: cute, innocent l'il girl gets abducted by giant rat sent by evil warlock bent of his own mad desire for immortality. You play the detective who must save the girl and marvel at the sorcery around him. Trite. There is quite a bit of back and forth between locations which can be aggravating as well as some of the hidden object scenes are graphically dark-- hard to make some items with out random clicking.
The plusses: Nice graphics with cut scenes.
I never listen to the sound, so have no opinion.
Many levels of difficulty for those who really like a challenge.
There is an interactive map.
The inventory bar is lockable.
I don't want call the following the "down side", because this is not a terrible game. It is your typical fantasy, hidden object game with a hero, a victim, and the bad guy. Ho-hum. It is an easy enough play and ok if all one wants to do is while away some time. I know a game is for me when the demo runs out and I think, "dang it!". This game didn't do that for me. It's simply ok. I wonder when developers will give games the full hour demo? I might have a different opinion if it had not ended at 48 minutes...

This is a fun time management game involving upgrading and planting garden spaces. It is timed, but not in a frenzied fashion. Prioritizing the goals helps achieve gold status. It is a nice little game with a surprise opening gambit that keeps the intrigue level going.
The music was pleasant
I didn't catch any typos or language discrepancies
the graphics are clear and fun if a little cutesy
the challenge to finish the level with gold status increases with each level.
Worth the money for a nice diversion.
I recommend this game!

I have not played this type of game before. I reckon it is a match 3 type hybrid. It reminds me of playing marbles. One must line up three or more chains of balls (or spheres) to attack, restore health, and defend. The graphics are wonderful and very crisp & clear. The villains are scary and full of mal-intent (I am 45 years old!). The plot line is intriguing with little Evy reminding me ever so slightly of a Raggedy Ann doll with her red hair and striped stockings, but not hokey looking at all! Evy is an orphan who investigates an eerie light that draws her into a magical forest kingdom. She meets a friend (there might be more, but I played the hour demo with intent to buy) and encounters two very bad creatures. The only fault I'd find with this game was there was not a tutorial and I had to "wing it" until I figured out how to manipulate the spheres and defeat the villain of the moment. There are coins to be collected at then end of a victorious match and upgrades can be bought. Over all, this is a fun, different game that is more challenging than what I thought it might be.
I recommend this game!

There are a few things I never do in regard to my pc game habit: I never post a review, I never play the game more than once, and I never play with the sound on. One can save up to five salvos in this game and it is worth it to do. The colonists are ship wrecked. Each colonist has a different skill set and this varies from salvo to salvo. So while one play through can go smooth as silk because every colonist has the right skill at the right time it is needed, other times one doesn't have enough farmers to get the crops growing or enough workers to get building started or enough scientists for research, etc. Each salvo is a new game. The Promisedland can be challenging at first in terms of figuring out how to feed the colonists and provide housing, but BFG has a good information blog spot for when folks get stuck. The graphics are clear, neat, and fun. The music waxes celtic, but I like it! The challenge is high at the beginning in trying to figure things out, but stays entertaining throughout the game as there are logistics to think of and some timed tasks to take care of. This has got to be the best building/time managment game thus far. If you liked Royal Envoy 2, Northern Tale, A Gnomes Home, and last but not least any of the Roads to Rome, you must try this one! I highly recommend it (this may be my first and only review)!
I recommend this game!
