I purchased and played this entire game. It has a lot to do for a SE version game. I had no technical issues everything went smoothly. There is a map, and the hint button works well in and out of the ho scenes. The music is not bad, voice overs are just ok not great. There is not a ton of hand holding but it is fairly logical and easy to figure out. It may be too easy for advanced players but for me it was just right. Try it you may like it.

This was one of the hardest games I have played in that there were no instructions on what to do or how to accomplish the task. I had to figure it out and there were times I was at a loss but I kept on trucking along and eventually finished the game. There are numerous hidden object scenes. The biggest complaint is the map popping up to load a new location it got at times quite irritating. This is a game that does not provide any hand holding yes there are sparkles but that is about it. The complaints of some were the areas in which you had to kill so called animals, well those animals were already stuffed and mounted and just so happened to be possessed by demons you do not actually kill anything. This is not a game for kids for sure. It is also not for beginners. If I can finish it anyone can. There were times I wanted to give up but just would not let it beat me. Some may like this game others will hate it. I am in the middle. If you are offended by demons and such do not play this game, if you are one that needs a lot of hand holding and addtional help this is not for you, but if you want a challenge and want to really use your brain give it a try you may like it. The atmosphere is dark and some scenes are difficult when searching for objects. With better mechanics this would be a great game as it stands I would grade it a C

I really enjoyed playing this game. I played the whole game and the bonus chapter. I have yet to collect all the puzzle pieces and I am going back to try and get them, which you are able to do in this game by replaying it and it does not eliminate what you have already found or delete current achievements it just adds to what you have missed. That is rare in games and I love that option. The SG is helpful, the hint is also helpful. The little imp in the main game is fun, and not overly cute. The bonus chapter you play as the imp also fun. Most of the mini games are fairly easy and straight forward there were only a few I had to really work on but not to worry if you mess up you can hit the reset button which I did from time to time. The voice overs are okay. I have seen better but the graphics are spectacular, I found myself just looking around and taking my time to just take it all in. This story does pick up where the last one left off just into the future and it gives back ground info to bring you up to speed. There are a lot of HO scenes but it does not interfere with the flow of the game at least in my opinion. Give it a try you may like it I did.

I really enjoyed this game, although for more experienced players it may be too easy, however I thought it was challenging enough to keep me interested. I enjoyed the story line and although the graphics are cartoonish they are very nice too look at, I found myself just looking around to take it all in. The mini games are the usual and not very difficult the hos are also fairly easy and vary in variety from lists to pictures to finding multiples of a certain item. There are morphing objects and are difficult to pick up on at times. The hint is helpful and directional, there is a map, and a journal and the sg is also helpful but I did not need it much as the game is somewhat linear. The music is very unobtrusive and most of the time I did not even notice it. Try and decide for yourself. I liked it and am happy with the purchase. I played the entire game including the bonus chapter.

Well honestly I wish I could give this 3.5 stars cause it does deserve that. As other reviewers have stated the story is fine, and the graphics are good, but the challenge level of this game is lacking. It is very easy. Great game for beginners. That being said I do think you should try it and see for yourself. I finished the entire game including the bonus chapter in about 3 hours. There are better games but there are certainly worse ones. I did not run across any major glitches. There is a map with a jump feature, help button is useful in and out of ho scenes, music is just okay. Puzzles are for the most part fairly easy with decent explantions of what to do. I am glad I got this game at a discount price though.

So I have all the island tribe games and they just keep getting better. The way you play is still basically the same just new scenery and different types of farms to build. Love these games. They offer different difficulty levels even an option where there is no time limit. If you liked the other island tribe games you will like this one too.

WOW!!!! This game is fantastic from the options to difficulty level, to the super cool mini games in the journal, some morphing objects but not over done to take away from the story. The story flows and it is super cool how the older stories link to this one. The characters are fun and some times very bizarre quite a few good scares. Sound track amazing, graphics amazing. Length over the top for me took me 8 hours to finish main game with no skipping of mini games or hints on ho scenes. Just started bonus chapter. Definte replay factor, and long time keeper for me. Honestly I can not find anything I did not like about this game. SG helpful as well as hint system but did not really need hint system much. Did refer to SG a couple times.
I recommend this game!

This review is based on playing the entire game plus the bonus chapter. All I can say is it was just okay for me. Not very challenging, I completed all mini games without skipping and the ho scenes without needing a hint, no the SG is really not needed for this game, and the story itself is not as captivating as other games I have played. It is a good game for a beginer in these types of games. Not a horrible game but not a great one either
I recommend this game!

Wow this was incredible, the way the other games in this series are linked to this one without making it seem redundant or over the top is fantastic. I will be purchasing the full game as soon as it is released. I loved everything about it. There were several times I jumped, the graphics are superb, the soundtrack intense, The game progresses in a logical manner, there is a jump map, the hint works well in and out of the ihog scenes the mini games are fun and offer a challenge and make you think but not to the point where you get frustrated or just cant wait for the skip button. Great job, this is the type of game I have been waiting for, not cutsie characters to feed, or rescue, is it dark and creepy absolutely but that is what I love most about it

This review is based on playing the entire game and the bonus chapter. I found this game to be fun and somewhat challenging. The story was a twist on a nursery rhyme that we have all heard more than once. I thought the graphics were good and the music fit with the theme. Although I dont think this game would be appropriate for younger children older ones might enjoy it. I found the mini games mostly easy some slightly challenging but not too much so where I needed to skip them. I almost found all of the cursed objects. The SG was extremely helpful and the hint button was also helpful but the game follows a fairly logical plan so I did not need the hint button very often. There is a map which you can jump to locations and the map is labeled well. I especially liked the underwater areas. Try it you may like it not all games will appeal to everyone but for me this is a purchase I am fond of.
