This is a great game for people like me. I am 75 years old and can't do the games where you have to go from room to room, etc. because I can't figure them out and I get very frustrated.
I don't like a game with time limits because it makes my heart race, which is not good for me. I like a really enjoyable, challenging game that I can relax with. This match 3 game gives you the option of easy with no time limit. It has a variety of match 3s, traditional, group, etc. Plus the side games were a lot of fun and while I might have had to think a few times to figure out what it needed, I was able to finish them all. The puzzle pieces were fun too. It has quite a few levels so it took quite a while to finish the game. It had so much variety, it was totally enjoyable. I love it when the game gives options for people like me but also give options to make it a lot harder for more experienced (and younger <grin>) players. Something for everyone! I also appreciate Big Fish ... Their customer service is very easy to deal with and they are super nice!!
I wish I had realized this game does not have an unlimited time option. I am older and slower and usually can't do games that don't offer unlimited time plus racing the clock can also race my heart ... which is not a good thing. I'm sorry I purchased this game. It was fine until I got to the 5th or 6th spot and it keep repeating the same level when I hit continue, even though I got "Good" on the rating. It took me a few times to realize I was not completing in the allowed time. (Did I mention I am older? <grin>) Again, I'm sorry I bought this game.

This was a really fun game. Being an older beginner, there was no way I could finish even in the normal level after the first 10 levels. It has a cute story and, of course, a happy ending. Each level gets harder and harder but because you can do it without a time limit, it gets done. A few times I had to start over because I did not build the right production, special or house. Starting over is not a penalty. Be sure to look the scene over before starting, most of the time you can figure out what you will need but sometimes you had to start the level to see what it would take to destroy the bad guys. LOL. Very enjoyable game, and even though only 40 levels, most take a bit of time to get through. I definitely did not finish this game in one day.
As an older person and still a beginner, I found this game a little frustrating at times but I did enjoy it. You have to figure out which way it really wants you to go, it's not always obvious on the expansive layout. The layout is quite large and moves as you do the match 3's, kinda like a flowing river where you remove the obstacles. I did enjoy having 3 different games, the hidden objects I enjoy and like the hint when needed. I also liked the "spot the difference" part, although a little hard on my old eyes. It is a timed game, which I seldom buy but you do not get penalized if time runs out, you just start that level over. Level 63 was also a little frustrating because you have to move very fast to beat the arrow power ups at the bottom. Took me several tries. At least the little fairy tells you at the beginnng of level 63 what you have to do which was much appreciated. I did get to the end, which I consider an accomplishment for me. It's a fairly long game so you do get your money's worth.
Take a journey through medieval times. Help Joan of Arc to build a new kingdom and change the fate of the people in this epic story of honor and courage.
I LOVE this game and wish Big Fish would offer more like it.
I do have to play in the untimed mode because I am older (73) and slower <grin> so I never purchase games that don't give the no time or relaxed option.
This game was the most fun I've had of all the games! It gives a lot of variety and many were not easy but I did manage to get through them. Again, keep in mind my age if you are one of the "experts" who have been doing this for 20 years. <grin>
There are swaps, chains, drop things to the bottom, ice squaares, rocks to break, etc. You build a village with the money and to help the people. Something for everyone. I do usually only play the games once but this one I will be doing again!
If you want more challange you can play in the timed mode.
I highly recommend this game in the not timed mode for beginners like me and the timed mode for more advanced players.

I am ancient myself (73) and fairly new to games so most of these games are frustrating for me. This game was GREAT! As with all these games, it gets harder as you go along and I really hate the "blocks" where they put the must have pieces but eventually you can access a "switch" award that helps get around it. I was able to finish (can't do that with all the games) but NO WAY could I do it on timed mode. If a game does not have relaxed mode, I'm sunk. This game gives you both which I wish all games did. I also wish Fish would list whether the games are timed or give a relaxed option but I have to read through many reviews to find out. Sometimes nobody mentions it and I have bought too many games to later find out there is no relaxed option so I really appreciate it when a review tells us if it is. It did take me a long time to finish but I DID get there!
People with more experience can play in the timed mode and I think it would still be fun for them as well. It isn't easy at the end.
The two Heros from the Past were also very good games for beginners. I wish there were more of these also.
I recommend this game!

As a fairly new beginner and being 73 years old, I can't get to the end on timed games. I did well for the 60 minutes but as it was getting harder, I knew I would not be able to go much farther on time. I wish there was some way for Big Fig to show easy games for beginners and to show if the game is timed or not. I really enjoyed some of the games I've gotten but many are just too difficult for my age and lack of experience. The 60 minutes helps sometimes but most of the time it doesn't show how difficult it gets AFTER the 60 minutes. This is probably a good game for more experienced people. You don't give a choice between 2 and 3 stars or I would have given this one 2 and a half stars. It was "OK" but I knew it would get too hard soon with it all being timed. I would buy more games if more of them offered the choice of timed and relaxed or not timed.
