Okay so not everyone is going to love this, but if you were a Magic Farm Fan as I have been you will love it. After the two reviews I played the demo first to see if they'd changed it. Yes they've changed the story and what you need to collect but the basic formula is there. Meet people who need things and grow flowers to get money for those things.
I'm well into the second garden and they've made things harder with using water to collect the flowers.
Magic Farm is mindless entertainment for when I want to reset from a long day. Like I said if you loved it before you will love it again. It's worth a credit for the very long game play you will have.
I recommend this game!

I'm so thrilled to have another entry into this series. I own both of the others. I did only play the demo so far but I will be purchasing this one as well.
I love that they didn't ruin what already worked for this type of game. The great music from the first two games is still there with the addition of some other beautiful tracks. It also contained all of the same sounds.
The levels that I played had great artwork that was even better than the previous additions. Unfortunately the graphics for the storyline went way down. It was more like a badly drawn comic book. Since I don't play this game for the story it didn't ruin the game for me.
It's pretty much the same as Mosaic: Game of Gods II just new pictures and additional music. But if you loved the first two you will love this one just as much.
I prefer the mosaic style to puzzle piece style of puzzles. I enjoy playing these games when I want to unwind with relaxing music and enjoyable game play.
I recommend this game!

This is the third Reflections of Life missing the Guardians. After playing the previous two Reflections in the series I was excited to see a Guardians picture. I thought "finally"! Nope, you play as a scientist. The owl is the consultation prize for the disappointment.
So where's Grace? In the bonus chapter. I felt cheated. The game was a fun way to spend some time but I didn't like the story premise. I found it somewhat disturbing. I'd already bought this on sale based on my love for the series and a buy one get one free. I probably should have played the demo first. If I had I wouldn't have bought it.
Only worth a CE price if you want to see the reason this series became popular in the first place. I really wish they would stop releasing games named as Reflections of Life if they are not part of the series. I want to return back to those worlds and I want to see Guardians with owls.
I don't recommend this game.

I really thought after Requiem for the Forgotten Shadow Dark Parables had run it's course and was on it's last breath. I've bought every Collectors version of the series since it started without even playing them first. They are by far my favorite series to play.
So this game may not have been the absolute best of the series but it was really great and I enjoyed it very much. I'm already playing it for the second time. I enjoyed the music, the storyline and the graphics. The hidden objects were not as difficult as past but I've always loved not searching for the ridiculous out of place junk in large piles of junk like other games. I especially like this type of broken up objects.
There wasn't a wide variety of puzzles but they could be challenging as you progressed through the game.
One part of the game really made me sad enough to cry but I will never spoil a game in the review.
And for the one thing I wish all reviewers would do in Collectors edition reviews. No you don't need the bonus to finish the story. BUT It was a great story and it had good length to it. Of course I would never get a Dark Parables as an SE anyways because I enjoy them so thoroughly!
And finally Thank You! To Big Fish for getting Blue Tea back to Dark Parables! Thank You to Blue Tea for coming back!! Please keep up the excellent work!!!
I recommend this game!

I love this series. The games are always great. The story line's are really interesting. I was ready to buy it right after the trial but waited for the usual sale. I almost couldn't wait. As I was playing it last night I noticed that the game wasn't as fun as it progressed.
The puzzles weren't overly challenging, but I was really disappointed when the game ended. It was one of the shortest ones in the series. The story while good just wasn't filled out as well as some of the past releases in the series.
That being said I think the bonus chapter really saved the game. It isn't necessary to the story but it was enjoyable. It was of sufficient length that it made me feel less disappointed in the length of the main game. It was interesting and fun.
If you want this game get the collectors edition. There is always a great sale.
I recommend this game!

I love fairy tails and the like but this game feels juvenile. It's also boring and irritating. The little helper was very annoying. I played the demo for about 10 mins before uninstalling it.
I don't recommend this game.

I hold onto credits just waiting for the next DP games. They are my absolute favorites. When this game came out I did play the demo wasn't impressed but it's DP so it's going to be great...right? I waited for a collectible sale. I also purchased some other games. I had to finish every other game I purchased before I got back to finishing off this game...grudgingly.
It was a true disappointment. Wish I hadn't bothered. The FROG's weren't good. The story was lackluster. None of the characters were likable. There was no charm of the previous games in the series.
There's no need to get the CE for the bonus story since it's also nothing special and is not needed to enjoy the main story in any way. No hints or previews to tell us if there is even another game coming out. Frankly this was probably the requiem for the series as another reviewer mentioned!
I don't recommend this game.

I liked the last weather lord game and this one was nothing like it. I played the demo for 18 minutes and had to stop. I love time management games, but this one is so boring.
This may have been fun in the days before games like Royal Envoy and Island Tribe and so many others but this was just not fun.
I don't recommend this game.

I have played all of the others and really tried to like this game. It's tired and boring. There are no voice's and it is freeze frame animation. The series has just failed to reinvent itself. With so many other great games out there this one just isn't worth any money.
I don't recommend this game.

Based on all of the great reviews I downloaded the trial. I was turned off by the whack a mole style of video game in the hidden object scene. The main character commented on everything which I found annoying.
Overall I just did not like it, did not buy it, and deleted it. I prefer the Dark Parables Series. But give it a try you might like it.
I don't recommend this game.
