just wait till you get to level 27... and then 29... no, just no. the levels become nearly impossible. you will never get a purple star on every level. putting this game where it belongs, in the trash.
I love all things related to the Delicious games!! And this is a major upgrade from the old Sally's Salon and Sally's Spa games. MAJOR UPGRADE. The only thing I dont like about this game is the way Emily looks. Usually each game has her and the rest of the characters looking better and better. However, in this game Emily looks very mousy with small beady eyes and just strange facial expressions. It just doesnt look like the beautiful big eyed Emily that we have come to know and love. :(
I have never played a worse match 3 game. I felt like I was matching up Emojis, the graphics weren't smooth and flowing and pleasing to the eye like in other games i've played. And I can't stand games that give you limited moves instead of limited time. I like a challenge, but limited moves is the only option for that. Also, the music is horrible and down right annoying. Overall: YUCK!
PLEASE Big Fish PLEASE add more Delicious games to this website! This was superb in every way shape and form. Best game I have played on BF and I have played TONS of games.
The only things I did NOT like: 1. The mini game where you have to fit the food together like a puzzle. 2. The dialogue between "Chris" and her uncle was super corny. He addresses her as "baby" and she is batting her eyelashes through the entire game like the game designers wanted her to be sexy. It was just a weird combination.
Overall it was a really fun and different sort of game and I am happy that i bought it. And finished it. Now on to the next!
First things first! I didn't like was there was no penalty for overclicking. Like, I know most people hate that. But not having a penalty for overclicking I felt as though I could just click click click click click if I ever became stuck on a level, and it just seemed too easy. Penalize me gosh darn-it!
Another thing, the game started off as a "Hidden Object" game (which is my favorite type of game!) and quickly turned into a "Spot the Difference" game. I mean, level after level after level of spot the difference. It got extremely boring and annoying.
I thought the story line was kinda cute, but very childish... I almost felt like i was playing a kiddy game.
I didn't see this issue mentioned in any of the other reviews I read, but this is my problem ... When I have it in "full screen" mode, the bottom row of the things i need to find is cut off. So i have to click out of full screen mode in order to see them.
Don't play in full screen mode, you might say? Well as many other reviews have mentioned many of the items are super small, I need the full screen mode! So I am basically switching back and forth, back and forth.
I am playing from a Mac computer, not sure if that makes a difference.
I absolutely LOVE this game!!!! I have only played 12 minutes of this game but i can already tell this is going to go down as one of my all time favorites. I was (am) a huge fan of the Gardenscapes games… i like being able to play HO games while at the same time redecorate my home (or garden) This is along the same lines except instead of making money from the objects you find and using the money to redecorate your home, you are actually using the objects your find to redecorate your home. Very very fun!!!
There is a scene where you have to find the differences. Each time you find one, the area is outlined in a triangle made of blood and an eye is drawn in the middle. The eye immediately goes away after it is drawn and only the triangle remains. I was shocked to go back and read the reviews only to find that NO ONE had mentioned this. I knew i wouldn't be purchasing the full game after playing this scene. Bummer too, cause I love holiday themed games.
Why does this game ask for my name and then make me play as Juliana? I am only 20 minutes through the demo and I am ready for a different game. Nothing has captured my interest, not the characters, not the graphics, not the storyline, not the gameplay. Just yuck all around.
