This game is awesome, no doubt about it. I loved the first game in this series, Ms Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles, so when I saw that a new one had been released I bought it straight away, I didn't even test it. It was well worth the purchase. The storyline is interesting and the new characters introduced were well thought out.
That being said, it is a great game as a standalone but not so much for continuity.
**Spoilers Ahead**
In this game you play as Sharlotte Holmes, a female descendant of the World Famous Detective Sherlock Holmes.
You meet Oscar Watson, grandson to Dr John Watson.
The villain is a descendant of Detective Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard.
These are all great ideas and would have been perfect but for one thing.
This is a game series, which implies characters stay the same and the game changes around them.
But in the original, Ms Holmes: The Monster of the Baskervilles, our titular hero isn't a descendant of Sherlock Holmes. She is simply a fantastic detective that earned the nickname through her work.
Sherlock Holmes had gone missing years earlier.
There was no Oscar Watson, instead we had Kiron Adler, a presumed relative of Irene Adler who, while a villain at first, came to our side to help us out.
And our villain was Moriarty and his grandson.
As much as I liked this game, I was a bit disappointed that they had departed from the fantastic storyline that they had started with in MH:MotB. It would have been really easy for them to keep her as having Ms Holmes as a *nickname*, as something she had earned, rather than as her actual name. And while Oscar was an interesting character, I was hoping we would see more of Kiron Adler, who had such potential considering where he was originally aligned.
I recommend this game!

I am a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes, and when I saw this new game I knew I had to have it.
This is the first game in a new series that I am greatly looking forward to. The graphics are good, the HOS are well thought out and the puzzles are fun to play as well.
Hope the next game comes soon, looking forward to it!
I recommend this game!
