I was just disappointed in the short length of the game, and the bounce around, see if you can figure out what to do next when nothing appeared available. The map was little help there. Lately, I have been noticing several games which have maps that quit showing where you need to go after awhile, and you are left to back track all over to discover its location for yourself. This one includes this along the way. The game story would have been better if the ending (like others lately), was not so abrupt and almost like it was a "time to wrap it up and go home for dinner ending" because it was just that...abrupt and o.k. game done, go on to the bonus now. It was a let down for me. Many may enjoy this game because the background music is appropriate, but the graphics could have done with improvement. I automatically buy when I see the Trackers games...but....you live, you learn. I'll be trying from now on. O.K. for beginner trackers, but judge for yourself and at least give it a try.

This game takes awhile (unless you like skipping or are very good at these games like some I am sure are). There are films that run during the game, filling you in on history of the story. They are not long or annoying, just helpful. I actually really enjoyed the hogs, because they were different than just the same old thing. In some, you have to grab items as usual, but you may also have to put some things into the same puzzle as well. It's a very entertaining story with twists and turns that are sometimes unexpected. I would definitely recommend this game, if you like to think before you try. There are some going back and forth during the scenes, but not enough to be annoying. Music is appropriate, and other than being just a bit dark, the graphics are great. Enjoy!

As with the entire Dark Parables series, the entertainment is non-stop. There is something to do throughout the entire game, and the bonus is a real treat as well. I love the twist on fairy tales, and this Jack is no wimp. He is the adult version seeking forgiveness for past wrong decisions. The colors are vibrant and fantastic. The music is very appropriate and not overbearing. Each character has a distinct role, and some surprise you. Well worth the money. I have every one of this series, and still waiting for the next one to come out. Great gaming and fun time for all.

I love HOGS and Mysteries. That said, try as I might, I could not get into this game. Too many do this and do that. I could not get the jest of where we were going with the story, because of being sidetracked constantly with do this and that. Too many stops and not enough story line, so with 25 mins to spare, I closed out. Sorry, not for me, but, in all fairness, may be for others whos attention to details in a scene is what it is all about, so I will recommend anyway.
I recommend this game!

The game itself was alright, but the ending left me hanging, both in the game and in the bonus. Layout of games was somewhat confusing, but once I caught the jest of where we were going with them, I learned to look elsewhere for answers. I was somewhat lulled to sleep with some of the game as the action so typical of BF games was lacking. For me, I would recommend this game to a beginner, but the more seasoned player may wish to have more depth to the game. Graphics were alright, but I would not call them outstanding. The story was good, but lacked continuity.
Thanks for the wonderful fantasy game to spend the afternoon enjoying. I really liked the layout, the characters were portrayed in such a way they challenged you, but were not so frightening my daughters would hesitate to play the game. I would love to see more games like this one in the future. Graphics were great, challenges just hard enough to make you think, and I love that different type of hos where it isn't just find the item, but what's underneath alot of times. A new twist for a small town magical tale. Well worth the money. Thanks for the smiles.
