I normally bypass clicking on games, such as this, if they're not of the 'big name developer' type. But, then again, I tend to also bypass clicking on many of their games, also!! However, being that it's a lazy Sunday (as of this writing), I saw this offering and clicked on it just to see what it was about (didn't know it was the second in a ?new? series) and decided to demo it. Although by a new/different developer, it plays like that of the Vacation Adventure, Park Ranger, and Christmas Wonderland games. . .straight HOG with clear and colorful scenery, 'easter eggs', silhouetted items that you look for in the scene for extra points, and some mini-games thrown in for a momentary change up. Nothing unique or different, but instead, a relaxing chill-game for when you feel you just want to give Master Detective - or any of his/her other cohorts - some time off!! :-)
I recommend this game!

. . .at the game's start, I arrived at the Medium's house and the front door had 5 or so locks on the OUTSIDE of the door (huh?). Yet, while I had to 'puzzle' my way in through a side window, the cops simply breezed in without either a kicking in of the door or, at the very least, show where they shot at the door to enter in (now THAT would be detail). I also don't like having to do so many tedious/menial tasks, at the start of ANY game, to get out of a situation (i.e., getting out of the prison), nor do I care for 'gimmicks' (a deal breaker); all of which interferes with the flow of a game. I have long-ago bypassed this developer's offerings (previous group and these folk who have assumed them), as they have long lost their edge in game originality. Their games have great visual and sound quality, but that's exactly where they leave their talents at. I strongly echo others in that we all have diverse game preferences. But, as for me and my household. . . .
I don't recommend this game.

I haven't submitted any reviews for a long while now, but wanted to share my 'final review' thoughts on this game; as I fall into the same state as my other fish mates that have been particularly less-than-enthused with the site's CE offerings. I started the demo, when it was in TGT status, and immediately deleted. At its start, when I was approached by the dancer explaining that some 'thing' tore her dress and she needed me to repair it, out of common sense/logic, I went backstage to retrieve the dress (I try to put my game-playing actions in a logical order; not instantly sleuth around picking up items). However, when the woman standing in the backstage area - from the break - came out of her mouth with something to the effect of her not wanting me to bother her with asking her questions, instead of a simple 'hello' or other logical lead in (remember. . .we're a dress maker, not a detective), that alone, demonstrated - to me - the game was not going to be any better further along. As there has been ill-logic in all of the games' stories for pretty much the past three to four years, I haven't bothered with purchasing any of the newer (big developer) offerings. I've long-ago learned that nothing decent comes out of any game when your character - out the gate - goes through the motions of picking up inventory items when there's nothing cohesive in the storyline to properly lead up to doing so. In turn, I have been sticking with purchasing older CE games, stand alone games by new developers, or simply replaying older games in my 'Purchase History'. If you're one that enjoys running around for no obvious reason other than to look at the graphics/colors, I recommend this game. For the rest who, like me, prefer to 'pay-to-actually-play'. . . .
I don't recommend this game.

. . .the problem I have with it is that you can't start a new game. If you're like me, after downloading the demo of any game and learning the objective on how to play it, I then want to start a new session from the beginning. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. After you exit the game, it picks back up where you left off when you go back to play again. I'm not sure how the developers managed to overlook such a simple task such as this. Otherwise, I can only recommend this if you don't care if you can't start a new game or, at the very least, reset the previous one played. Therefore, enjoy!!!!

I played the demo when it was in 'TGT' mode (03/27). I would have rated the 'Fun Factor' and 'Level of Challenge' higher IF the game - as another member stated in their review - didn't have SO MANY puzzles/mini games immediately one after the other. The only positive I got out of the game were the 'Visuals/Sound Quality' and 'Storyline'. . .which didn't go far - again - because of the over abundance of puzzles/mini games. I do, however, highly recommend for those who live for puzzles/mini games. As for myself, it's a 'no-can-do'!!
I recommend this game!

Today's offering is VERY pretty to look at and the storyline - although done in a few other games - is intriguing. However, after playing approximately 45 of the 90 minutes demo, I had to back out. The game had a very good flow to it and, again, a new and interesting take on the storyline of living statues. Unfortunately, the game rolled along TOO easy. It was 'bam, bam, bam' at placing the collected items where each needed to go, and no challenge in the hidden object games OR the mini-games. Maybe further into the game the challenge picks up, but because of the easiness as shown in the demo, I'm not so sure this game's ready for me!!! :-o
I don't recall playing the demos of the prior 3 releases of this series; however, one of the above reviewers stated that the first one was the best. Therefore, I will demo that one and - if it offers more of a challenge - will consider it instead. Hey, don't want to pass up this weekend's sale on something, now do we????
Otherwise, for those that choose to "try and buy", do enjoy!!
I recommend this game!

Hmmm. . .another release in the Redemption Cemetery series that, as another reviewer stated, doesn't take place in a cemetery; thereby, leaving to wonder where the series' title fits into this edition!?!
*
No need to go into the game's details, as the game's page - and other members - have already done that. I did notice, however, that this version is produced under a different developer: AMAX Interactive (a sub-ERS company, maybe?) and, although utilizing the same bold, colorful art work as that of ERS games, this developer does it without the muted fuzziness. I was also amused at they're borrowing a scene from an old sci-fi movie (The Thing) in the opening introduction, which leads me to want to be on the look-out for future works of theirs.
*
It's an easy-play game and, after 60 of the 90 minutes demo time, I decided to exit out. I don't know what folk are looking for in games anymore - particularly hidden object games - but I, too, am in that percent of members who recognize that the majority of the games are endowed with far too much visual "special effects" and fluff in lieu of an engrossing storyline -- sort of like the movies released in theaters now days. And although I appreciate the latest in technology as the next person, when - exactly - did story telling/writing become outmoded? The game's plot is not new, as there have been previous games with a similar "tale-to-tell" as this one. Unfortunately, the game's execution just didn't "wow" it for me and fell flat.
*
Is it a game for me? No, but it is one that I do recommend to others. What I'm going to do is patiently wait on the release of two good games I beta-tested several weeks back and, in the meantime, just dig around in my 'Purchase History' and blow some dust off of a few "oldy-but-goodies" and be content!! :-)
I recommend this game!

. . .otherwise, BFG got jokes!!
I played the entire hour and, like a bad accident, I just couldn't take my eyes away. If the game is a 'first-time project' produced/developed by computer graphics/art students, then they get a pass. Otherwise, I would purchase as a 'daily deal' or 'catch of the week'. To those who "try and buy", enjoy!!!
I don't recommend this game.

When I saw this game yesterday as the TGT, I had a feeling - right from the break by the title - that it was an SE that was supposed to be a CE. And, sure enough, when I read on its' description and downloaded to play the demo [and purchased] that's what it turned out to be. And, what a nice surprise. I don't do reviews, but just give my personal thought/take on games by new developers, as we already aware of the level of expertise of the ones that are already established. Thus, there's no description of the game's mechanics, game play, etc., as that's provided by everyone before me. No, it's the 'newbies' that always get my attention, because I enjoy seeing what they bring 'new' to the table with their stories and how it's executed in the game play. New talent and creativity is always exciting. I continue to standby and support our 'newbies', as I posted in a personal review of another CE not long ago released, and the way they do a good job bringing together 'old' and 'new': most use the 'old-school' look [which I adore] and combine it with 'new-school' features by adding collectibles or achievements. . .or both, which IMO, is always a winner. As most everyone else, I too enjoy the 'new look' in my games, but - as with anything else in life - 'old school' always maintains its' charm hands-down. This game progressed in some difficulty, for me, and eventually had my brain "hurting", as it is a rather long game. Is it easy to see where there needed some polishing? Yes, which is probably why it didn't make it all the way to CE status [or, maybe it wasn't meant to be an elaborate SE], but it most certainly didn't stop the flow of the game or meeting its' overall objective. It's also very obvious that this developer has exactly what it takes to make a very good Hid Obj game. . .be it in CE or SE format, and I look forward to seeing what their next project will be. JMHO!
Happy gaming and. . . .GO TEAM BRAVE GIANT!!!!
I recommend this game!

GOOD game! Why? Well to start: 1)Does it fall in the category of the more updated games? No! 2)Will many members like the 'classic' feel/look of the game? No! However, for me, the look and feel of this game has a wonderful nostalgia to it that is on par with the way games were made back when I first joined Big Fish in '07. No, there are no fancy voice overs, overly vibrant rich colors, and definitely no furry helper friends. However, it's a nice LONG game with an 'original' storyline [it existed beFORE the newer games today, making it an 'original'] that draws you in through the music and background noises similar to that of an old black and white movie [the intensity was through shadow and music]. For me, it's where 'old' meets 'new': the new being updated features in the form of collectibles and achievements. It makes me absolutely no difference if the developer pulled it out of their vault and said, "Here's one for ya, Big Fish", as they're blowing the dust off of it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm getting the best of BOTH worlds, and as long as 'classic' games - such as this - are programmed to be able to play on the newer OS's without issue, the company gets both my vote and dollars. Would like, very much, to have more games like this. Thanks BF and Meridian!!
