At long last, I'm not alone any more! Hiya! This game was made in 2013...and even by 2017 standards it is good!
The storyline has been reviewed to death, so I'll skip to the chase.
The HOP's were done well. Beautiful artwork, and clever. Not so easy as to make them a total yawn.
The mini-games were unique, and most took some time and mental consideration...but not so much that you will pull your hair out if you are a challenge lover.
Did I have to go to the Walkthrough once or twice? Yes I did. Did I also have to avail myself of the Forum once or twice? Yes, that also. But...that added to the Challenge and my interest.
The cursor was a little on the quirky side. Put the TIP where you want the action to occur, and you will have no problems.
Please give this game a try. It builds interest as you go.
Also, if you love a challenge, in addition to the game listed to the left, here is one you might like: "True Fear: Forsaken Souls"
As always, try before you buy. Do what makes you happy!
I've read the reviews. That's what prompted me to write one of my own.
This game does not hold your hand, and walk you through every single action or task. You are expected to have a certain amount of logic and common sense. ie: if something falls off the wall, and the frame and pieces are laying there..yes, you are expected to put the pieces back in the frame w/o being told. If you open a crate full of mugs and plates, and there is a silhouette to the right..yes, you are expected to find the pieces inside the crate to fill the silhouette w/o being told. Multiple times through out the game, you will be expected to "put your thinking cap on", and figure things out for yourself. You can do it!
The Exhibit Map given by the caretaker/curator is excellent. It is the standard jump type, with areas of interest indicated. It has multiple layers, and occasionally you will need to refer back.
The HOP's were all well done with new twists thrown in from time to time. The mini-games were in a range from easy to very challenging. (I had to skip the sewing of the wedding dress, and the final Match 3 type puzzle). Because of these two puzzles, I would actually rate the Challenge Level 4.5
The graphics were good, the music was pleasant, the art work was detailed and the locations were interesting. The story line was great.
I really enjoyed this game. I'm glad I bought it. Will I play it again? Most definitely. I hope you'll enjoy it too!
As an agent of the Alliance, you’ve been given a mission to destroy an ancient artifact known as the Spear of Destiny. In the wrong hands, it could help conquer the world.
Based upon the completed game, this is my Lowest Review...ever. I kind of feel bad as I know the Devs work hard, and this is their passion, but my first loyalty here is to you fishies, who spend your hard earned dollars, and expect quality entertainment.
As of this posting, 29 reviewers have given this game a 5 Star rating (that's why I bought it), but after completing the game, for the life of me, I can't understand WHY they did.
The art work was good enough...there were some beautiful locations. The music was pleasant. Voices were acceptable.
The HOP's were standard list...and you could virtually go right down the list to find what you seek. They were very well drawn, however. There were several morphing objects in every one which added to the interest.
The mini-games were over used, old, and very easy. Several new games had instructions that weren't quite clear, and I had to fool around with them a bit to figure them out.
There were all manner of collectibles, but in the SE you don't get to see your accomplishments (or lack there of).
I really wanted to like this game a lot, but I found myself getting bored, and was glad when it was over. I suggest using a coupon for this one, if at all.
****If you are after extreme challenge, try the game I have listed to the left. Happy gaming!
I would have passed looking into this game based on the title, but it was listed over at the left under "Current Favorite" by a reviewer when I was checking out another game. (I have found some of the best games that way!) If it's good enough for someone to list, I'll give it a go. Usually glad I did.
It started out kind of slow, but just kept getting better and better, with a surprise around every corner. Not the least of which were the "Kharmic Choices" you were asked to make at times. You could either be nice and helpful, or rude and aloof. I'm going to turn right around and play this again (I rarely play the same game twice), but this time opt for rude..just to see the difference.
Others have done a fine job describing the Storyline, so I won't take up your time by re-hashing it.
The HOP's were well done and creative. Some items were smallish for these eyes of mine, and I had to use the hint button more than once. Some had a touch of whimsy.
The mini-games were in a range of challenge. Most were doable, but I had to finally skip the chessboard one. There were quite a few game related new puzzles, that were awesome. Quite fun.
Am I glad I bought it? YES! Will I play it again? YES!
Even by 2017 standards, it is a very good game. Try it! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
This had all the ingredients of a Five Star SE, but it just wasn't developed far enough. It is the first game I have come across by this particular developer (Urchin Games), and they were sooo on the right track.
Other reviewers have done a great job of explaining the Storyline, so I won't re-hash it. I found it to be excellent.
The graphics were awesome, except the exterior of the mansion. What happened!!! As an architecture freak I was sorely disappointed! It looks like they forgot to finish it! I'm not kidding! (Hence the 4 on Visual Quality)
The game is short, with only 13 locations, but they were all pretty interesting. There were collectibles, and an additional story line book. The journal kept Annabel's diary, plus additional notes.
As I mentioned earlier, the devs were on the right track with this. It just seems like somebody pulled the plug on production before they actually finished what they set out to do.
What there was of it, was enjoyable. Use a coupon. Enjoy!

I am moderately hard to please, however, this game kept my interest all the way through to.....the end.
Yes, it is set up for a sequel that has not come. Dang! I would have bought that too! But some reviewers were SO disappointed in the ending that they gave the ENTIRE game low ratings! Rubbish! As the saying goes, "You don't throw the baby out with the bath water".
Others have given a complete run down of the Storyline, so I won't re-hash that. The Storyline was excellent, and engaging. Kept me wanting to know what happens next.
The HOP's were very well done, with two multi-step interactive items in each one. Plenty of these.
The mini-games were in a range of challenge difficulty. I found many that were new, and all were interesting.
I had trouble with one, just because I did not look at the screen thoroughly enough. A knight has to pick up four quarter circles, while being chased by a dragon, and place them in a center circle. The "up" arrow means forward..alright. The "hand" means "pick up" and "put down"..got it. But the dragon kept eating my knight! Bad. Until I noticed the order of "pick up" and "put down" was listed on the left! Duh!! Right there..in color! *sigh*
This is a game I will play again. Not just because the Templars are interesting subject matter, but the game is that good! Despite the ending.
I'd like to see the Devs do a game on the Oak Island Money Pit. It has Templar engineering written ALL over it...not Captain Kidd's!
In closing, if you like an interesting Storyline, cleverly done HOP's, and challenging mini-games, I believe you will enjoy this game. It's worth a try!
It's very rare that I say that...."great game"....but this one was.
Most of the time I don't play a game twice, but this one I did.
The storyline was engaging, and kept me wanting to know what happens next. And where to go. What's around the next corner. The journal was good, with a lot of background information. There is no map, however. That was okay (added to the challenge), but sometimes I got lost. Music is music in any game. If you don't like it..turn it down.
On to the good stuff. I am not a HO person, actually, but am heavy into mini-games. However, these HOS's were very well done. A challenge. I even had to use the hint button in one FOUR times (lamp, spoon, cover, king). Should I blame the size of the objects? Nope. The HOS's were excellent.
Now the mini-games. They were all interesting, and blended well with the game. Most were a challenge..taking thought and time. Did I have to skip a few? Yes. TWICE! *heavy sigh* (the tiny skulls, and the stained glass window). Note: Either the Devs made a mistake..or I am whacked. In the eight different gems game, early on, if you go by the colored clue you will not be able to solve it. However, if you REVERSE the < 's and the >'s, starting from the left side, and going right, you will easily be able master this one.
If you want to challenge your gaming skills, this is a great game to do it with. Enjoy.
A long-forgotten artifact has just resurfaced, and the race to claim it will cause a devastating war. The only thing strong enough to stop it is one woman's promise to the man she loves.

This game has something for everyone.
The storyline was intriguing, as were the characters. The music was pleasant, but at times, so relaxing I had to turn it down. The graphics were good.
For the HOP lovers out there, they were well done...and not too easy. I didn't find any items to be too small, but plenty were cleverly hidden. I really had to focus. (not all frogs are green by the way. You'll find the one I mean).
The puzzles ran from eye rolling easy to very challenging (enough to where a few times I was muttering to myself). I am a puzzle lover, but the final battle I ended up skipping. I just couldn't do that one.
There was quite a bit of back and forth, but the teleporting map made it easy.
This game even had a halfway decent ending! That seems to be a rarity in so many games I've played. I will absolutely play this one again.
It was well worth the money. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
I recommend this game!

Dark Parables: Requiem for the Forgotten Shadow
A dark illness has befallen the townspeople of Anaben!
I don't write many reviews, so I'll just cut to the chase. Any reviews I DO write are always based upon the completed game.
I find Eipix art work to be superb. Very detailed. The music in this game was pleasant through out. The voices were not annoying. The storyline had a flow, and was interesting.
Anytime I see "Blue Tea Games", I know that the HOP's will be those where you find the pictured items, and construct a needed object. These were done beautifully...and quite challenging. Some of the items were very small, but that adds to the challenge of finding them. GREAT for you HOP connoisseurs out there! Many to conquer.
Now. I myself am a mini-game junkie. As all good games should, there is a range, from easy to more difficult, to appeal to everyone. Any one can use the "Skip" feature, depending on your mood, and patience level at the time. :)
Starting in Chapter 2 and every Chapter thereafter, there is one mini that repeats itself, one time each Chapter. The degree of Challenge increases with each Chapter.
You need to take different tokens to their same colored slots. Sound easy? Not here. Each time you move a token, in it's place will be left a token color that is shown to you over on the right. These are shown three in advance, so you can plan ahead. Chapter 2 took me ten or so tries to get the hang of it! If you love Challenging mini-games, this is certainly one. *nodding head* Yes, thumbs up.
All in all, this was a very good game. One I will play again. I hope you enjoy your time with it as much as I did. Peace.

I've played it twice (which I don't do very often), once in 2013...again in 2017. My skill level has changed during these past years, and so have the games that are being developed.
The storyline was very interesting and the flow was good. I never got bored, and always looked forward to what came next.
The HOP's were mainly "list" type, but well done. Not "junk pile", and were challenging to the point that I had to put on my glasses. I abhor mis-clicks and using the hint feature.
The mini-games were varied and interesting. Only a few, tho, met the level of "Challenging" this time around. Maybe because I am more experienced now.
There were more HOP's than mini-games.
All in all...it's a good game. Even after four years, I see that it was worth the purchase. Enjoyable.
