I am unable to cite one fault with this game! I heard it was going to be released, today, so stayed up until 2:00
AM (central time) to download. Did not even bother with the trial because I knew it would be wonderful since it was produced by Blue Tea! Worth every penney!

Now, I am waiting very anxiously for them to release their new Dark Parables game which is due out in either April, May, or June!
Please, try this one. It will be well worth your time.

Loved, loved this game! Similar to the other ones; however, really fun to play.
I'm on the intermediate level and did not need to use the SG. Perhaps, I'm getting better, but found the games to be easy. They were frequent and fun so you didn't get bogged down. All task were varied and there was some back and forth but not excessive. The hint button was excellent in directing you to locations and I found it was not often needed because items were used at a nice pace. The whole game was smooth and the graphics were excellent! Not a lot of gloom. Music was similar to the other games and as was the story line.
I have not yet played the bonus games.
I highly recommend this game .

Other people have already gone into detail; therefore, I will make general comments.
I found this game to be GREAT fun! ....and that was the major factor for me in addition to the visuals. It was especially enjoyable playing the role of the detective. I mainly used the hint button during a HO when becoming impatient.
The goals were somewhat broad. Therefore, when I knew I needed a particular object, it helped to just reason it out as to the most appropriate place to look. Kind of deductive reasoning. For example, if salt was needed, why not head to the kitchen or storeroom. When correct, one could mentally make a check mark for an "AH-Ha" moment.
In closing, I really hope more games like this one are developed in the near future.
Please do give it a try.

At present I am in the middle of playing the game and am enjoying it. Many of the items in the HO's are very small and a little fuzzy so one must be patient. There are interactive items, which are fun.
You are charged with collecting golden leaves throughout the game, so be sure to look. At times, I forget to do so.
There is no journal but you are provided with ongoing instructions. It would have been nice to have had a map.
The voices of the characters are well done and the dialogue is good and at times rather funny.
The games were not hard, so far, and you are allowed to skip. The latter being a must for me.
I, also, found this game to be relaxing, fun, with a pleasant story lines. I would have scored it higher had the difficulty been greater. A SG, in my opinion, is not needed.
You might want to check out the trial version. I did not and have no regrets.
Have fun with this one!

This truly is a pleasant game to play. I enjoyed finding pieces of objects, the story line was nice as were the hints and map that is a transporter one. Also, You really have no problem in getting lost and knowing what to do.
My suggestion: If you liked this game, you probably would love the Dark Parables ones. For your HO's,at the bottom of the screen, you are shown pieces of objects to find. There are usually three to complete. The scenes are extremely colorful . I bought the CE's for these, and had to use the guide often I'm on the intermediate level.

It is now 3:00 AM where I live. I purchased the game, yesterday, and, once I started, just couldn't stop except to take my dog out, fix coffee, and have a bite to eat.
I encourage everyone to at least play the trial version. Beautiful graphics, really nice story, and plenty to do. The map is excellent and transports you places. The hint button is great and, in fact, I did not need to use the SG.
Games were fun to play and not too difficult. As others wrote, lovely music especiallly if you like classical and more specifically, Tachaikovsky, This was just a real treat and brought back memories of having taken my children to see the actual ballet.
I suspect gamers, who are on the expert level, will breeze through it. However, because of factors mentioned previouslly, I think they will enjoy it. I'll play the bonus game, tomorrow, or later today. <g>
I highly recommend this game and would have checked all five stars except the challenge aspect did not, in my opinion, reach the highest level..

Since this game had so few reviews, I wanted to add my thoughs.
I have not completed the game; my opinion is not affected by that. It is really funny and a pleasure to play. Such a nice change from all the morbid and dark ones that are available. Even during the HOG's, I found myself laughing out loud. In addition, it is actually a mystery.
In summary, this is just a delightful game and most refreshing. Great one to buy especially on sale or if you have earned a free game.
I recommend this game!

I bought this, in essence, sight unseen when I noted the name of the producer. Love all their games.
I'm on the intermediate level; therefore, it was a challenge for me Probably not so much for you folks functioning on the expert level.
I thought the visuals were wonderful and not that dark. My monitor is rather large so that helps.The map did not seem to be of marked value and I missed havng a journal. As a result, I needed to use the guide more than I expected. When I play again, I plan to take notes in order to remember locations and what is needed in each one. I thought the story line was fine and I enjoyed the additional bonus play. The music was okay, nothing spectacular, but not anoying.
In summary, I REALLY liked the game, it's HO's, and other features. I highly recommend this one.
Olivia has been kidnapped by the mysterious Lonely Hearts Killer who murders those suffering from a shattered love. Save her!

This game is a jewel. It has now become my favorite game of all the ones I have down loaded and there are many.
The voice overs are outstanding. There are many; however, one should focus on all of them as they are so very pleasurable and a rather necessary component. This game presents as a true mystery and resembles a good movie.
I cannot find one fault. Hint botton is great, map is useful, games are new and different. Do note that they are not hard which is a positive for some of us. This game really flows nicely and actions needed make sence. I haven;t quite finished it but, honestly, hope I am a long way from the ending. HO's are terrific and the interactive components of them are enjoyable. Graphics really nice and atmosphere of scenes appropriate for that particular part of the story.
