Not being a lover of crosswords but always enjoying HOGs (though I do not like mysteries attached that I have to work out myself) I decided to give this a go because of the reviews I read and I am so pleased that I did as I now have another game that I just love playing. One doesn't need to be good at crosswords as words can be found by elimination and the use of the butterfly giving letter hints.
I like playing solitaire games so was expecting something like the Fairways Games. It wasn't. Didn't seem to have any logic to collecting scores and was extremely monotonous. I didn't even finish my trial hour, which is most unusual for me.
I don't recommend this game.

Being a lover of Hidden Object Games and not particularly liking other types of games, I was pleasantly surprised to find the trial of this so good that I purchased it before my hour trial was up. Very addictive and long running. Has made me willing to try more different type games. I highly recommend this game to anyone and everyone.
This was the first HOG that I played (was on computer when I bought it), which got me so interested in these type of games. Therefore I was thrilled when able to buy it from BFG. However, having played so many more interesting ones now I just find this quite a second rate pass time, with the scenes rather fuzzy and quite difficult to pick out a lot of the items, even though I know what they look like.
Okay for those addicted to HOGS though I have found much better and more interesting ones.
I have purchased all the Big City Adventure Games because I like them so much. Great for beginners too with good detailed instructions. Relaxed or timed mode, real information on sights visited in each city and coins to be found in each scene that give you extra hints and time, as well as bonus points. I also enjoy the mini games in between each sight visited, which is good I don't need to skip them.
New York is my favourite though as it has Quick Continue (so that I don't have to wait for coins to be counted each time) and Zoom locations with extra clues written in blue. Van Couver is the only other that has every feature as well.
Excellent games for anyone who likes plain HOGS without a mystery added.
I recommend this game!

Best game ever! Concept within my ability and I enjoyed being able to spend the money earned in the way I wished to. I particularly liked the fact that there were no carnage type scenes or mysteries that I had to solve. Excellent choice for people like myself who just wish to have straight HOGS. Having played both games in this series I am extremely disappointed there has been no more.
