This game is beyond easy, even on the expert level. I finished the entire game in about 90 minutes. There is absolutely no challenge AT ALL. If you are looking for a mindless game, this is the one. At first, switching between characters was interesting, then it got tedious. And the picture frame thingy to see the animals in their "true" human form and communicate with them became annoying, only because they had nothing to say other than their sad sob story and why they needed Beatrice's help.
So, not fun, sound quality was good, but the animation with the sound was awful, no challenge, and the story line was just a riff off of one we all know very well.
This game is boring and nothing special.
I don't recommend this game.

After Northern Tale 3, I thought for sure that was the end. I am so glad that my favorite group of vikings is back. I love the new additions to this one with some underwater scenes and the hidden objects on certain levels.
I highly recommend this game, and really, any of the Northern Tales games.
I recommend this game!

I played this for 18 minutes and then deleted. Pros: the music was sufficiently creepy. Cons: The game is very, very dark and it makes seeing things difficult. The HOS are crazy easy, with the items in the list looking different from the rest of the items, making them super easy to spot without even having to look at the list. Cant turn off the awful tutorial. The actual movement in the game is dull - once you finish a scene, its done and you move on to the next room - rinse, repeat. Im not really sure what the story line is other than the player goes to this house to look for a guy.
In short, don't bother.
I don't recommend this game.

I just completed the entire game and while it was enjoyable, I think I can recommend that the CE is probably not worth it. I would wait for the standard version and buy that one instead.

I played the demo for 15 minutes and had to just quit and uninstall. The graphics are not that good, the gameplay is awkward and nonsensical. The game is very dark and it's difficult to see items in the HOS and the pick up items in the gameplay. I don't think I would even use a freebie for this one. It's a definite pass.
I don't recommend this game.

This one was confusing and not all that interesting. The games were very easy, the HOs were very easy; nothing about this game screams, "PAY $14." not worth it. I didnt bother finishing the demo.
I don't recommend this game.

I played the demo and like the demo so I bought the CE. I really liked the HOs, especially the "association" ones, it added something different to the standard junk pile HOs. there was quite a bit of "back and forth" but it was enjoyable. I played on casual mode, loved the journal, and really liked the strategy guide for help when I missed a pick up. The storyline was a little weak, but I don't play for that. It wasn't too challenging, but was challenging enough for a fun afternoon.
I recommend this game!

This game would have been fun.....6 or 7 years ago. the graphics are dated, the game is slow, the HO scenes are a joke and the same items repeat in every one. I played the demo for 11 minutes and uninstalled. I don't think I would play this game if it were a freebie.

Its really slow, and kinda lame. Im not sure what the point of the story is, other than to find the girl's boyfriend. Other than that, it's just dumb. Dumb and slow. Not worth the hour trial, and not worth buying.
I don't recommend this game.

This game was a great change from all the supernatural HOGs that have been coming out. Loved the storyline, the graphics are really really good, and the games are easy enough to be fun and difficult enough to keep it interesting. The only con: There were a lot, and I mean A LOT of mini-movies in this game. There should've been more "game" and less "movie".
I recommend this game!
