I look forward to this game annually. I always immediately buy it without hesitation. It just isn't Christmas without it! However, this year's edition is disappointing. They really did not put as much effort in to it as usual and it shows. It is apparent they have just lazily recycled some scenes from other versions and other games to fill out this one. I quit playing for a few days after playing the reproduction of the Cruise Director scene from another title from this developer with some elves and a few decorations added to dump it into this game. I admit to feeling ripped off. The graphics just seem annoying. Guys, making things smaller and the scenes more cluttered is not an improvement. The creators of previous versions had a sense of humor now missing. I felt compelled go back to finish the exercise, but it seems as if the developers are no longer a fan of the game or fail to understand the basic essence of the tradition. I have the impression that this family now is just going through the "motions" of Christmas. I hope that if there is a future version of this game, (and I am not saying there should be if this is a portent of things to come), they find someone who has played it since it's inception and who "gets" it to lead the creative team.
I don't recommend this game.

What the heck happened to this series? I have been anxiously awaiting the next Hiddenverse game as I love this series. As usual, I bought it immediately without even playing the demo. Big mistake! While there are still many of the clutter games that make Hiddenverse enjoyable, they have added a large number of senseless "makework" nonsense. This game has a murder mystery "plot" line that is incredibly boring, unintelligible and clearly not edited by anyone who speaks English as a native nor has any familiarity with spellcheck. You spend more that half your time clicking through this uninspired, mind numbing, boring and endless dialogue and other activities such as examining pointless items that you buy with stars you earn by playing the regular games There are new mini games added which don't work smoothly including several frustrating and totally unnecessary "manipulate the eyeglass viewer and try to figure out what you are supposed to do" episodes that most of the time I "won" by accident and still have no idea what the purpose of the whole exercise was. So much of the activity in this game just seemed pointless. I uninstalled the game before finishing it as I just couldn't tolerate the constant clicking through bad dialogue nor the overall boredom any longer.
I don't recommend this game.

I usually don't review games, but am making an exception of this bomb. I did not even make it through the free trial before deleting this game. It seems it was not designed to easily accommodate Windows 10. The game plays slow and clunky - even in the recommended "windowed" mode.. The graphics are poor - 2 of the "Match Items" look very similar and because of the poor graphics are hard to tell apart which slows game play. Overall, this is a pedestrian, boring match game and not much fun at all. There is nothing special about it.

This game is very much like the prior games in this series, but I was hoping for a bit more of a challenge. Everything is pretty predictable until level 39 when the game comes to a screeching halt because there is a mound right after the games starts that is supposed to be pounded away, but the poor little fella just pounds and pounds, but nothing happens.
I don't recommend this game.

Good Grief - they have ruined my favorite game series! First of all what happened to the old crew? These new people are different from those we have come to know in past games. Clearly the developer(s) don't speak English as a primary language. Grammar, spelling and contextual errors are a pet peeve of mine and annoy the heck out of me when trying to enjoy a game. How hard would it be to have a native English speaker review the game and help fix these issue before releasing the game? I absolutely hate being forced to make a certain action rather than having a choice as to when I perform what should be an optional move. This happens way too often and certainly takes away from the continuity and enjoyment of the game. These characters move very slowly and you spend a lot of time waiting and watching them run around. The plot is just stupid. I was so bored that I did not even finish the demo. I have always anxiously awaited the next game in the series, but this one is just so different in not a good way, that it is the first one in the entire series that I will not be buying.
I don't recommend this game.

I tried this game. It is not much fun to try to guess what in the world you are supposed to do to move the game forward. I think it should be withdrawn and edited with something that approaches INSTRUCTIONS. It might then be re-released. As it currently stands, it is just about impossible to play without wasting incredible amounts of time and frustration just to attempt to (I won't use the word "play" as that is a misnomer) be involved with the game.
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed this game because it is straight hidden object without all they dark dreary scenes that seem to prevail in most of today's games of this genre. It is not a hard game so can be played by most members of the family, though younger players may require a bit of assistance.
What I simply cannot understand is why the developers who clearly don't seem to speak English as a native language didn't have someone who is a native English speaker review the game for idioms, context, grammar. There is no excuse for the many spelling errors ie; olimpic, secratary, mistery . These issues were annoying and took away from my pleasure with the game. The narrator also tries one's patience after a while as her remarks are always the same and not terribly relevant to the game.
I recommend this game!
