I'm old and my memory is not so good. I rely on a map to tell me where to go ("action available" in other games) is not an option here. Collecting Mistletoes (70) adds to more hints. If I use Hints to retrace steps, will I run out of hints and be stuck??? Collectibles: 40 Mosaic pieces and 70 Mistletoes; fairly easy to find. Three modes of play. Graphics decent. If the map were helpful this would be a buy for me. Recommend you try it; overall I enjoyed it.
I had purchased (Punch) the 1st Vampire Legends and uninstalled it after one month. Developers have done a tremendous job with improvements to this one. The map is interactive with available actions noted. There are 4 modes of play including Custom. There are +/- 60 Tarot cards to collect. The HOs are varied. Puzzles are workable. You use inventory items in some of the combo. HOs. You find herbs to grow and later use in potions. People's lips move when talking. Not a whole lot of talking like the 1st game (Thank God). Although the gypsy voice is unnecessary and annoying. To fill the audio void - you (developers) might try inserting some music? I recommend you try this game but I'll probably wait for the SE.
4 modes of play, transporter map with available actions noted, Collectibles: 36 puzzle pieces and 15 miniatures. No morphing objects found. Very interactive HO's. I was very impressed and will purchase immediately. I own the other 2 CEs and enjoyed, especially the 1st one. I strongly recommend that you try this.
As a retired old forgetful cartographer, I need a map. I do not enjoy the constant to-and fro and resent using the HINT. This game would have gotten a better score with a map. I did purchase the first game (punch). This is much the same. There are 100 "beholders" (creepy eyeball bugs) and you are told how many in each scene. The items you collect for your inventory in most cases make no logical sense. Graphics were OK; HOS were OK. Just an OK game.
Brief notes: contrary to other reviewers comments: there are 9 Morphing objects and a helpful Jump-Map with available "notes". Puzzles difficult/complicated - makes you think. The storyline is different from the fantasy stories we've had recently. I strongly recommend that you try this. I bought the first MCF in 2012 and not one since. I will definitely purchase this one.
It was just OK. 13 figurines to collect. Usual flowers to collect. No morphs. Obscure logic - I really hate this. A stone sheep needs to hear music to open it's mouth and release the clue? ????????? HO's easy. Puzzles fun. Graphics OK. But basically the same old thing. I must say the games over the last 3 months have been in need of a logic transfusion. I do suggest you try it; not as bad as some. Not CE worthy.
Most other reviewers have covered everything. After you finish the Bonus you can go back and find the black roses that you missed. Also, there are Souvenirs that you can go back and find - random objects and NOT the morphs in HOs. You can also replay stuff and shoot bubbles.
Few brief notes. Graphics are a little grainy - consistent with other Blue Tea Games. Blue Tea's maps were awful causing me to NOT purchase some games. Thank goodness Eipix did this map because it is a real map and friendly and usable. Enjoyed Demo a lot and will purchase when some other offer is on (1/2 price).
Collect 25 owls. Find 7 dolls. 2 Bonus chapters. I'm pushing 70 years old and my memory isn't so good. The map is great, the mini-puzzles and HOS are fun. I haven't had to resort to the SG once so it may be too easy for some folks. It starts out a little slow and the carriage/bridge is pretty stupid BUT once you get into it there is a lot of logic/common sense. I hope you give it a try because I'm having FUN and I hope you will too.
I have Domini's previous 2 games and this has surpassed all of my hopes. BEAUTIFUL! Hero is Margaret's brother. Margaret was working with a scientist who is now crazy for power over all worlds and is draining Margaret's soul. It's Fantasy, don't knock it - enjoy it. There are 4 modes of play. HOs are interactive and/or you can change to jigsaw puzzle. Many puzzles which some might find easy because I didn't need a Hint. You collect Masks to visit Boudoir (not available in demo). You collect Coins for Museum (not clear what to do in Demo). There are no morphing objects. You also get a helper, a magic doll created by Margaret BUT she resides in inventory so you don't have to look at her. In the bottom right corner are 4 ? marks above the Hint button and the 1st is a Levitation Device you acquire for use as needed. I assume the other 3 will be other helpful Gizmos. Journal has three tabs: Notes, People, and Objects all with pictures and descriptions. Transporter map works well and shows available actions.
Developers - music cuts out part way in to a puzzle and the absence is very distracting - can you fix that?
