The characters, both speech and movement were so awful it was painful to finish the demo. The blue aura gizmo was stupid. The fingerprint gizmo - another failure. The best I can say is the map was excellent. Try before you buy. I wanted a real murder mystery - NOT this thing.
The 39 acorns to collect are so tiny you spend forever trying to find them. I loved Briar Rose and the Mermaid one; purchased all the others and uninstalled. The dev's have improved on the Map but this one does not measure up to what DP was. I like a challenge but resent having to use the Strategy Guide in the first 10 minutes of play. Will not purchase and will uninstall. I suggest you try before you buy.
I don't recommend this game.

Dreampath: Curse of the Swamps
A mystical rain is turning everyone into frogs! It's up to you to find the cause of this wicked weather and save your loved ones.
If you have spare "punches" do get this game. For that matter, it's worth purchasing. The graphics are phenomenal. This is a very long game and does not have the bells and whistles of a CE but if you like the Fantasy genre, you'll love this. It has a journal to help with the puzzles which are totally unique! Thank you BODLAT for this game and the hours I'm spending enjoying it!
I stopped the game to write this review. For $2.99 plus double Punch Monday - you can't go wrong. Please give it a try. Experts will not like it but I'm old, play Casual, just for FUN. Now back to the game!
I thoroughly enjoyed this game. It was somewhat easy because I did not have to use Hint or SG. Two puzzles were hard and took quite a while to finish. I missed 6 puzzle pieces. The morphing objects start out as thistles but later on they can be anything. Do try it, although I'm sure the expert fishies will find it too easy - although I play Casual.
If you don't mind using HINT and/or the Strategy Guide you may like this game. Or if you are a smart expert player, you'll probably find it OK. I have most of the other "Myths" and have enjoyed them in the past; loved Chinese Healer and Black Rose, both CEs. This was a big disappointment for me. I played casual for 89 minutes and I recommend you try it before you buy!

Sable Maze: Soul Catcher Collector's Edition
After 20 years, you're ready to make peace with your brother's disappearance. But the spirit world has other plans for you... Welcome to the other side!
Story seems old, lost brother - go back to Sullivan River to find him, BUT the graphics and unfolding of the story is exceptionable! There are 10 figurines of the characters to collect. There are also morphing jigsaw puzzle pieces to later put together for screen savers. Well done Daily Magic. Puzzles were hard for me and took a long time to figure out; Beginners may not like this game.
I have tried and uninstalled previous games in this series. Although this one is slightly better than the earlier ones it still is only fair. With many new games, this one just isn't worth the money (CE or SE); even with the sale. There are collectibles: character photos, family items, mistletoe berries to get powers (4 werewolf powers). I repeat: TRY BEFORE YOU BUY!
Good storyline. light on HOs which I love. Heavy on puzzles which are not my forte, especially manual dexterity. It's worth giving it a try, you might enjoy it.
