A UFO is rumored to have landed in the small town of Tundel and the mayor is trying to conceal it. Run your own journalistic investigation and learn the truth behind the event!
I sorted this game into my top ten games I have payed so far. Ok story-line which does not matter much in the game, more like the quests that matters. I have found Easter European old block references hilarious and there are some funny insider jokes that some might not get. Voice overs are similar to Peanuts cartoon wha wha wha wha's. You might get lost in the city at first but the map can help a lot. You might want to be careful spending your money tho. Get the quests first after that visit the shops. Clear non cluttered graphics, goofy characters, funny quests.
I absolutely recommend this game if you have the girls over for a sleepover in a pink bedroom and you giggled yourselves silly talking out all the cute boys you've seen.
Puppies and unicorns.... That summons it. Cute, no gloomy rainy (at least the demo part) hunted mansion and the scariest thing I seen was the strange plot. Like someone took all the Brother Grimm stories and wanted to make a cocktail out of it in a blender. Good graphic, not bad VO, no eye strain HOS. True it is not as marvelous as the other Elephant games I have seen, but still good fun. I recommend this game if.... you like girly, fluffy, cuddly things. I do not recommend this game if..... you want challenge, horror stories and hardcore games. All in all a pleasant enjoyable game safe for younger players too.
At first looked like a fun kinda game. Many kooks, murder, sleuthing. Almost. Basically going from scene to scene collecting unrelated objects, from a pile of weirdly hidden items. When done with to location at the city, get one "witness" giving you a line or two. You get no clues from the HOG-s it's only there for a filler. The M.E. gives you a line or two of clue, you have to find the right weapon, then the choose a suspect. Boring, unimaginative game, Visual is OK but some of the HO are way too hidden. One plus that you get the silhouette of objects in the hint area with out setting of the hint button. Also hint recharges pretty fast compared to other games. What the badges are for (2 in each scene) still a mystery to me. Not much sense to the game. Quit in 30 minutes. Try before you buy.
I just simply loved this game. Beautiful art work, great V/O, good story line, time period HOS (it is weird when some of the objects and time period is not matching). Loved it. Hint button super past and map that is helpful. The art work was one of the best I seen.
Well...... That was bad on many level. First, you need to click continue every time done with search of items totally unrelated to the environment or "story line".
Second unimaginative game. No find clues, items to use only HOGs and match sections of picture to details at the bottom. Boring and even tho the visual good it is flat and uninteresting. Items, sounds been recycled from an other similarly bad game Hide and Secret series. Just awful. Creepy. But not in the old Victorian/ abandoned mansion/ asylum/ cemetery creepy.
Pages of TLDR story which was just as flat and not even close to be interesting as the game. No cut scenes, no V O (which I thing it is a blessing seeing how poor quality the rest is). Even with not too great games I try to finish the one hour free trial just to see how far I can get, but this was so bad I quit at 20 minutes.
Hard to put in words how bad this was. It is a -1 on my "ten-o-meter"
Light mildly challenging HOG with crisp graphics and sunny weather. No rain and thunder like most HOGs. Story line OK. I recommend this game for younger players or those who just started playing HOGs. Not too violent other than break ins. About the plot (no spoilers), Some of the characters are mildly dim. Like in a pro shop where you can (Oh I need to distract him while I snoop) you do things that in normal situations would not been able to. Kinda made me chuckle thinking what would happen if I would have done the same in the real world. All in all a light game. Mini puzzles can be challenging on a level of 1 to 10 I give it a 5. HOS challenge a 4 . Graphics a 7. Crisp not too dark and no clutter (which is a plus ) I did not come across clicking penalty either.
After playing many many HOGs this is something that I can recommend to beginners and advanced players alike. This is more like a clue and FROG game than a HOG. Cut screens are well done comic book style stills w/o VO. Fast moving game, no clutter to rummage through finding useless unrelated items like in many HOG games. I have read many James Petterson books and this story line is as good as his books. Music blends into the game well. There are several mini games that is different from the usual pipe, lock and other frequent puzzles. Some are even informative. You get hints added as you go along chapter by chapter but honestly, you do not much need them.
It would have been a great game if there were better guiding systems. 2 minute cool down for hint and and hint started to reload (cool down) at the beginning of the HOS even if you had not used it yet. I was sitting there done with all the items to find but one, waiting and waiting for hint to pop up. (FYI starfish is green in the cemetery. HUH????) Good graphics, sound. Bit annoying that the ghosts kept bugging you to free them. Like I'm not trying the best! My main problem is with the hint or lack of. Recommending it only to those who want to buy it and does not concern about have to leave it to skip over to check the walk-through.
