This game was not my favorite by any means. I got bored with it early on. The story line wasn't great and I got tired of the game play also. The bonus game aggravated me halfway through to the point where I just quit and uninstalled it without finishing.
I don't recommend this game.

I always love MCF games! One of the biggest things I loved about this game was that it was so different than what I usually play. It was mostly hidden object/puzzles. There wasn't any real detective work really. Meaning that you don't go from place to place collecting clues to use on other things throughout the game in different areas. I played with the timed level. I've never really been timed throughout a game before and it was a challenge on some levels. Even though it was timed, this game still took me a good 4-5 days to finish. I love games that take a while as long as they aren't boring or too difficult for me to grasp. Overall, GREAT game!

I typically give all MCF games a five star. I decided after seeing all the great reviews from Madame Fate and Fate's Carnival I would try them both out. I really enjoyed Madame Fate, the original game. It was pretty different than the typical hidden object adventure games I've grown up playing. When I started Fate's Carnival, I was really excited about it because I enjoyed the original so much. This game first off is FOREVER LONG (to me, anyways). Which I almost always LOVE. The longer, the better for me. I do think I got my moneys worth out of this game due to the length. But something was lacking from it and I also found it pretty difficult to solve some of the puzzles. I resorted to the walkthrough multiple times, which I usually never do. Overall, I did enjoy the game. I think I just started to get bored after the difficulty level I experienced and with the storyline as well. I do recommend this game anyways, considering I did get my moneys worth with it. I did enjoy most of the game.
I recommend this game!

I really have no idea how this could've been rated so poorly. I loved this game! It's actually one of the first hidden object mystery games that made freak out a little after turning it off at 3 AM to go to sleep. The sound effects and music are spot on with the creepy factor. The music kinda reminded me of the music played in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I also had no trouble being able to see in hidden object games. Those that say this game is boring or they couldn't figure out what to do next shouldn't be playing this type of game to begin with in my opinion. These games are meant for thinking and using your brain and that's what makes them so fun. I didn't have trouble to the point of being just totally stuck. Loved this game! Play it for yourself without focusing on the bad reviews.
