I love this game! I wanted to try it out due to all the rave reviews...I've been looking for an actual game besides the Happyville, that let you free build... I played it for 5 minutes and I'm going to purchase it and mark it as my favorite :)
You get the usual tutorial when you first start, but there is also a free mode - which I love in all build games (and you don't find that very often either - I honestly only know of one other besides this one, that has it!) - in the usual build it games, you get tasks, then a time frame, complete that and move on.. then the game is over...
with this game, you get to do the tutorial just like usual, to learn what you need, but then, you get to actually have some fun in free mode that opens up. I played for the 5 minutes and the free mode was already open ... so needless to say, this game is great for free mode build... exactly what I was looking for.
(( I really wish they'd make more free modes in the build games..the game would be more worth playing.. instead of just building, do the tasks and you're done.. at least make it something to work for, besides the end of the game ))
This game is not only fun with that added free mode (and yes, I discovered that in just 5 minutes) it has vibrant colors and graphics.. sounds are fun. The story line seems like it would be really fun to watch it play out...
oh and another thing that most games don't have; (which made me smile).. the speak/host/teacher, tells you the story behind the reason you're going to play ..you don't have to read it.. (which I usually float/skip through really fast, so I can try out the trial before times up - I didn't on this one)
You also get to build anywhere you want! - Another plus for me!
I really recommend this game to any age..
Please make more games like this one! It's a rare find :) (building any place you want & free mode)

In this game you're the manager.. you stock, check out customers, take meat, fish and cheese orders... which can be done by clicking in chains or one by one (it takes up to 6 chains).
As you move through the game, you get to hire staff for certain areas...
Once the game is complete, you can play it over for a better score - it does not open 'endless shift' or anything like that - which would of been a nice add.
Tried this game for about 10 minutes and decided that it was too slow paced for me.
It seems to be based on dash type of games, which I like, but it was too slow in movement and in progress.
This game does seem like it would be challenging, but to me, it seems to be slow paced and I didn't/don't have the patience to check it out fully - you only get an hour to test drive it before purchase... so, like everything else, some may like it, some may hate it.. so that makes it worth a try. Try it out ;)
[I don't comment much on graphics/sounds because each computer is different - what I see/hear might not be the same for others.. someone else might have something better/worse] - but for me, graphics were ok and music/sound was fitting for the level you were on.
I had 2 levels left before the trial was over, to have the game completely finished. I received gold metals in all but 3 levels, which were the first 3 you do when you start the game.
Needless to say, this game is easy. Most have complained about the time length being too short, but I found it to be too long (because I finished way before losing gold metal)... but that depends on the player.
Each level seemed to fly by and I felt like I wasn't accomplishing much- except the objectives of course... you don't get time to play out the scenes/battles if you want to earn the time metals/points... and as I said, I had only 2 levels left before the end of the game, so I don't know if you get to actually play in free style when you're done or not... but still, seeing that I only had 2 left, to me, it's not worth the purchase.
Sweet graphics and sounds though ;) just not challenging enough to me ...I also think it's worth the game that once you've beat it, that you get to have some free style time in it.. so you can at least still play it, instead of waiting a while (like weeks or even months) before playing it again because it's been beat...

It was ok until I tried the Free area and it seems all you do is repair and put out fires. ( I didn't get too far along in the 'story' part because I was trying the trial and wanted to see what Free was like before I purchased it )
In the Free area, I've actually had buildings that I just repaired to only break down again before the truck made it back to the building, over and over - several times in a row. Then I had buildings that I just placed/built, to only break down right after, or catch on fire, then break down, at least 6 times.
I was going to get it, but after hearing the crashing and burning sound over and over and so close together, it drove me close to nuts. I played the Free side about 20 minutes before I decided that I'm not going to get this game after all. If I wanted to hear all that noise and having to repair things over and over, I'll just leave my husband and son in charge of the house while I take a day off... (not gonna happen) sorry! I tried to like it.
