This was available months ago on another website where I'm a member. it is so boring! There are endless repeats of HOS to get stars to open add'l HOS to endlessly repeat. Most of the scenes are junk piles, in monochrome browns, and very difficult to find sometimes very small items. Story line non-existent. Don't waste your money. Much better games out there. I didn't even finish the demo and I always do.

I played full 60 minute demo then bought w/ PCC. There was less than 30 minutes of game left to play. I didn't skip games and seldom used hint since map showed where to go. There were holes in the story-line big enough to drive 12 semi trucks thru. Holes: Who/what was shrine dedicated to? What would sacrifice accomplish for the cultists? Why was the woman killed? Who was the man putting up missing posters? And where was he at end of game when sisters escaped? If Lucas and I are on same path when he is chasing me, why didn't I fall off the cliff? When did telescopes develop ability to hear conversations a mile away? The game had potential which was badly wasted. Too bad as first hour was interesting.

This game came out 9 months ago on another website where I'm a member. Was excited until I started to play. While it has lovely graphics and a good story, the cons outweigh them. 1) The HOS and mini-games are exactly the same as Lagoona 2. 2) There are only 40 quests which don't last long. 3) While there are many achievements, I find it boring just to play for achievements especially when they are the same as Lagoona 2. 4) If you buy the castle upgrades out of order, you cannot go back and buy the ones you skipped. Thus making the game impossible to finish as one HOS doesn't open until you've bought all castle upgrades. Try it for yourself or go back and play Lagoona 1 and 2. Have a great day!!

This game came out 6 weeks ago on another website where I'm a member. Liked it a lot at first. The cons: 1) in relaxed/untimed mode, money builds up very slowly and the bonus power ups are expensive; 2) there is no auto-shuffle when there are no moves nor can you buy a shuffle power up so you end up playing the levels from 52-100 multiple times to get past them; 3) after playing 68 over 15 times (and having replayed many earlier levels to get money to buy power ups) I gave up as too much trouble to continue trying to get past 68. I emailed w/ the developer who said they deliberately left out the auto shuffle. Realized they made levels 52-53 too hard and issued an updated version of game. Never heard back when I told him about level 68 difficulty. Try it for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

I bought and played this game based on how much I liked the previous ones: Nutcracker and Christmas Carol. This game was so below par!!! It was extremely short, the bonus games (2) were less than 10 minutes each, the challenge and enjoyment was completely absent. The only good thing, I got it on sale. I cannot recommend this game unless you get the SE w/ a PCC, otherwise don't bother!
I don't recommend this game.

I enjoyed the Drawn games and the visual style of this game is similar to them. It plays like a regular HOPA, including jump map using a compass near your SG and notes. However, it is very short! The SG including bonus game is only 40 pages. I played all the games, didn't skip anything, got most of the achievements and was done in about 3 hours. I'm glad I only paid sale price as it's not worth $13.99. Fortunately the other game I bought (new Twilight Phenomena) is much longer and well worth the sales price.
I recommend this game!

I have enjoyed all the previous Echoes, but this one stinks! I must agree w/ BIshky and Nilosh who also give this few stars and poor rating. The mini-games are boring and repetitive; having to do each HOS twice also boring, etc. The cursor constantly seems to hang/go slow as every time you pick up an item, it hangs on the screen before going into inventory. What's worse in some of the games, you grab something, goes in inventory, pick it back up to perform an action, goes back into inventory, and then you do it again before action is complete. What a waste of time! Even tho the dialogues of which there are many, say to "click to continue", they don't go any faster. It's not necessary to wade thru all of it for game to move on, you'll get the item anyway. Another great waste of time! Very sorry I wasted 2 credits on this game! It's not the worst game I've ever played, hence 2 stars but only barely.

Having bought and enjoyed Bronze Horseman and Queen of Spades as SE's, I splurged and bought Undertaker as CE last fall. I enjoyed it and thought it was worth the CE price. Despite couple negative comments about this CE, I bought it. Wish I hadn't! Some of the game instructions were confusing and the SG did not help which is why I paid extra for the CE to get help! The bonus game is extremely short, the "extra" of planting flowers is LAME and BORING, like watching paint dry. As much as I love ERS games, this was an extreme let down and I feel ripped off. Try it and see for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

I posted the following review in the game forum direct to Silverback Productions, be careful what you buy as a CE. Hi EOTD/Silverback: I loved EOTD I and II, played them as SE and had a ton of walking around to do since I didn't have the strategy guide. That said, I thought it was safe to buy EOTD III as CE so I'd have the strategy guide. Boy, did I waste my money! 1) The map is NOT jumpable and the transports are few and far between. 2) The SG is NOT needed due to all the handholding, conversations, quests, etc. 3) Had I known what type of Match 3 ZEM was, I would definitely skipped buying the CE. The bonus game is SHORT and then to find you must EARN the concept art, screensavers, wallpapers, etc. by CONTINUOUS ZEM play, what a ripoff!!! If the trophies are cumulative based on points, the points should remain at whatever level you ended the previous game. Having to start over each time sucks. 4) I should have read farther into the comments as others have made some of these comments as well. Hope the next game from Silverback is better.
I don't recommend this game.

I was looking for a new Solitaire game to play, thought I'd try this since it hadn't been rated. It's a good children's game for them to learn to play solitaire. Has relaxed and timed modes, has records to beat, etc.
