This game impressed me at first, but some really annoying things drag down the rating. (based on demo on regular mode)
Good Parts:
Excellent storyline. It hooks you from the moment it begins and you need to find out what happened.
Great graphics. Very modern, well designed and detailed. A lot of effort was put in to these.
The Hidden Object Scenes were great. The objects were a mix of some easy and some hard to find objects.
OK Parts:
There could've and probably should've been more hidden object scenes than there were. I found more puzzles than Hidden Object Scenes when this is supposed to be a Hidden Object Game.
Bad Parts:
Very, VERY annoying puzzles. They were really hard andicredibly frustrating.
Adding to this, the skip button took so long to charge it wasn't funny. You couldn't exit the puzzle to wait for it to charge either, because everytime you exited the puzzle, the skip bar would have to re-fill again.
But overall I did have fun wit the game and it's great if you can look past those 2 annoyances.
I recommend this game!

I haven't actually loved a game for a long time, but this one was absolutely brilliant. I've never been a fan of the series, but for some reason this one just appealed to me.
A brilliant storyline that hooks you from the start, whith chilling music and great voice-overs. As usual with Elephant Games, a lot of time was put in to the storyline to make sure it was a good one.
Brilliant, clear, detailed, well designed, modern graphics. Really made you feel like you were playing a 2012 game. You could clearly tell a lot of effort were put in to these.
Gameplay was great, with great Hidden Object Scenes and an all-round fun game. The Hidden Objects were a great chalenge, with some interactive objects added. Elephant Games doesn't disappoint.
The strategy guide was a great help and the hint recharged very fast, which I thought was great. If I forgot what I needed to do next, or couldn't find an object, I'd have absolutely no trouble.
Overal, this game was very impressive and I will definitely be buying this in the very near future. Highly, higjly recommended, even if you're like me and have always hated the Grim Tales Series.
I recommend this game!

I liked the game at first, but a few things annoyed me. One of which was at the very start of the game.
Storyline is absolutely brilliant with some great voice-overs to go with it. Rachel's father disappeated many years ago and achel has been trying to find him ever since. When suddenly, she comes across te old abandoned town of Howlville. The intro hooks you from the moment it begins and you can tell that a lot of time and effort was put in to this.
Some really good graphics too. Very well designed ad lots of detail, very modern and matching the theme of the game very well.
The Hidden Object Scenes OK. Most of the objects were easy to find, there were a lot of interactive objects and the hint recharged very quick, so if I needed help, it would always be there. But something in the scenes would always be either a puzzle, or a little more complicated than it should be.
The game kind of needs a strategy guide. I would often use the hint to find out where I needed to go next, which annoyed me a little and took up time.
The one thng that annoyed me most about this game though, and the reason this game is getting a 3 and not a 4, is that there were puzzles everywhere. Even in the Hidden Object Scenes, there were puzzles. You need to do something as simple as opening a lock, but of course, there was a puzzle. Adding to my frustrations, the skip button took forever to recharge, so I needed to wait a long time,
Another thing that really annoyedme was that a lot of things were un-necessarily complicated. With the opening of the lock mentioned above, it wasn't as simple as just turning the dials to open get the right code, no, the game couldnever allow that. Instead, turning one dial would also turn another one. Or if you needed to dust off a sign to read what it says, it wasn't just one click and it happened, you needed to do it yourself.
If it weren't for the puzzles, this game would be perfect. Still, I enjoyed it and recommend it.
I recommend this game!

As much as I tried, and as many chances as I gave this game, I just couldn't. This gamehas given ERS studios another strike and with one more I'm not sure I'll be able to trust this developer again.
As usual with this game, there are some brilliant graphics. ERS always puts a lot of time and detail in to them, and this game doesn't disappoint.
The storylne is hands down the best part of the game. It's brilliant, the intro hooks you and you just need to know what happened.
The game seriously needed a strategy guide as sometimes you had no idea what to do next and even if you used the hint, sometimes it wouldn't help. This really dragged down the fun rating and was utimately what made me give up on the game.
The Hidden Object Scenes were a bit disappointing too. The objects were easy to find, and I liked how some of them were in groups, but ligh could easily got on the screen way too easily, and if I played in the dark I couldn't find them, so I had to tilt my computer screen forward, which really annoyed me.
The one thing I find really weird about this game is the hint system. Really? You need to find fans to give you extra hints which I think is just ridiculous, and once you run out of fans you have to wait for the hint to recharge, which took a long time.
While I liked Grim Facade: Sinister Obsession, this one just didn't cut it for me. I was very disappointed with the gameplay and this may be the game that finally makes me lose trus with this developer.
I don't recommend this game.

Having played Shattered Minds: Masquerade and really enjoying it, when I heard the next game was coming out I was really ecited to play it, but I was really disappointed.
The game lacked fun from the start and I got bored very quickly. Puzzles were extremely hard and the Hidden Object Scenes were annoying too. The objects were really hard to find.
The intro was pleasing, but after that I found the storyline really hard to follow and very boring. Unlike Masquerade, it didn't make me want to keep playing. I thought the storyline was rushed and you could clearly tell not a lot of effort was put in to this.
One positive I took out of this game was the graphics. They were well drawn and looked very modern, with a lot of time and detail going in to them. It really made you feel like you were playing a game from 2012.
In my personal opinion, I was really disappointed that a Collector's Edition was not released beforehand, because a strategy guide is really needed in this game. At times I found it really hard to figure out what to do next, and I would have to use the hint. Luckily, the hint recharged really fast so there was no waiting.
Overall, while the first game of the series was great, this one proved to be a disappointment. I hope the third instalment, if they make one, is much better and the developers actually pay attention to the storyline.
I don't recommend this game.

Having played and run down the demo of the Collector's Edition, and my bill payer refusing to let me buy it, I jumped on the chance to play this one more time! It's just as good as the Collector's Edition, with its unique gameplay, brilliant storyline and excellent graphics, it's sure to be fun for all ages!
I loved the new twist on the Hidden Object Scenes. For those of us who can't be bothered trying to find the objects, the geniuses at Artifex Mundi have created an alternative. Mahjong! This was a great challenge and much more fun than having to find Hidden Objects.
The game had a brilliant storyline that sucked you in from the moment it began. After 300 years, the body of Captain Remington has been found and is now going to be on display in 24 hours! That is, untill it escapes...
Very straightforward gameplay. It was obvious what to do next so no strategy guide was needed. Aded to this, the hint button rechaged very fast, so if ever I did get stuck, it would always be there when I needed it.
The one downer for me though was the puzzles. I thought these were incredibly hard and frustrating. The skip took a long time to recharge so I was sitting here waiting for it.
Despite this, I loved this game anwould happily buy both the Standard and the Collector's Edition just to get all the fun out of it! I know I loved it and guarentee you will too.
I recommend this game!

Good Parts:
The storyline was amazing. It completely sucked you in and made you want to play on.
The gameplay. The whole game is like one big hidden object scene, wit almost everything you find being able to be used later.
Very good graphics. Well designed. You could tell a lot of detail went in to these.
OK Parts:
For the most part, I think a strategy guide was needed. I found myself constantly needing to use the hint.
Bad Parts:
The hint took forever to recharge.
Overall, this is a decent game that will provide enjoyment for evryone. Good for when you have a credit to use.
I recommend this game!

Good Parts:
The game was very addictive and made me want to play on to see what would happen next.
The fun factor in this game is great. It was lots of fun to play.
I loved the Hidden Object Scenes. They were a great challenge and provided entertainment.
It was a great storyline. The intro hooked you and you knew you had to play to the end. I would've liked to see some voice-overs though.
Great, detailed and very modern graphics. You can clearly see a lot of time was put in to this.
The hint recharged really fast (30 sec#. This was great as I would need it a lot.
OK Parts:
I think a Stratey Guide should've been included as I needed the hint a lot to find out what to do next.
Bad Parts:
The puzzles #or minigames as this game calls them) were just way too hard. Almost at genius level.
The skp took forever to recharge 2:00) This was really annoying as not only did it run down my free trial, but as I stated before, the puzzles were too hard so for those 2 minutes I was sitting there waiting.
This game provided great entertainent. It passes on everything and I happily recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I liked magic match: Genie's Journey, but it was nowhere near as good as the others.
Good Parts:
Still the same addicting gameplay that has featured in all the other games
The magic spells were great and low cost so it was always able to be used
Option of playing timed or relaxed mode
Still a great challenge.
Giggles is back!
OK Parts:
The Duel mode was good, but you can no longer play against yourself which is a shame because that was my favourite part of magic match.
The graphics are well below the standard set by the other two games.
The bonus level was great fun but not as exciting as before.
A storyline would've been good. It would've made the game a lot more fun like Magic Match Adventures
Bad Parts:
Gameplay was very repetitive. I would've liked to see some variation.
I rather enjoyed this game, but a lot of things were altered. As the old saying goes: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" This game is a great example of this, but all in all I still had a lot of fun with it.
I recommend this game!

Really did not like this game. I was disappointed because it was such a catchy title
Good Parts:
Good, modern graphics.
OK Parts:
Tutorial included, but not very useful.
Average challenge.
Bad Parts:
No hint included. This was really annoying.
Half the time you had absolutely no idea what to do. A strategy guide should've been included.
An average storyline that did not hook me and I had no idea that the intro was over. Not very exciting.
The game is no fun to play.
I really didn't like this game. Not onlywas there no fun factor, no hint and no strategy guide but I could never see any hidden object scenes.
I don't recommend this game.
