Initially I was skeptical based on the other reviews, but so happy I tried this one! It's somewhat like the old Build a Lot series, which I was glad to see, but has some good additions and with a much better storyline than I remember from the build a lot series. I like that you can add skills, but wish there were more... hint. hint. to developers! Overall - very fun and I haven't stopped playing for days. Well except to work, eat, and you know - the stuff we all HAVE to do other than play games. :)
I am usually not a big fan of HOGs, but no other new game looked interesting. Because this game had excellent ratings, I decided to try it out. It's great! I couldn't stop playing. It has a solid balance of mini games, clues, challenge and story . The mini games were original and not simple repeats from previous games. They were also the right amount of challenge. Drives me nuts when a HOG is just mini game after mini game and they're either impossible or redundant. I'm also usually not into stories. Most of the time I find them uninteresting, I actually followed and enjoyed this one and was pleasantly surprised. The designers and engineers used substantial creativity to go after fun and challenge. I sure got my money's worth. Thanks for a super fun game!
I love TM games. I loved the first of the Heart's Medicine. It was cool. This follow up? I'm a bit irritated. They clearly spent a lot of time on the story, which is great. It is. And fun. But the game play? It's all about hyper clicking and there's just no way to keep every one happy. Also totally unrealistic circumstances - especially compared to the first. C'mon. One doctor with 8 patients and 12 visitors and the doctor is going to prioritize showing the visitors where the vending machine is located? A bit ridiculous. I bought it just based on the fun I had with the first one, but now I'm sort of angry with myself because I now know this is just a mindless clicker game. I don't know why they would put so much time into story and then makes the game play impossible. Super unfortunate because the mini games seem really fun and I think I would like this game a lot if it was more realistic in terms of expectations for what the average user can do. I almost need 5 mouses to play the higher levels. Stupid. Anyway, too bad. Looks like it has potential but released too soon.
I understand what other reviewers are seeing when they said it is too old fashioned, but I really like it! It is challenging for sure and there are plenty of upgrades / bonuses to play with. I like when I can use my good scores to upgrade. I like the optional one level bonuses too! It took me a few plays, but now am having a lot of fun and definitely intend to buy it. Only complaint is that it is a bit jerky and you have to click exactly the right spot to get quasimodo to respond. Also wish he could hold more than one thing at a time.
Build powerful weapons and plan cunning protection strategies in this unique Tower Defense game. Enjoy colorful graphics, exciting plot and engaging gameplay!
I get very bored with the hidden object games, but those are what is most available so OK I play them. This is the kind of game I wait for. It has kept me entertained for weeks. I love it. Challenging! Fun! I saw someone else couldn't figure out how to deal with the gear upgrades. I get that. An earlier game with the same kind of play confused me, but I eventually figured it out. She/he is right. There should be more explanation, but finding out how to upgrade is part of the fun. I love it!!!!!
This was the funnest so far of the Rescue Team series. There were several levels that stumped me and I even had to go on line to watch walk-throughs. I really liked this. Wish it didn't have to end, but certainly the number of levels was very fair.
I love the Monument Builders series until this one. It's OK, but so much less than the previous ones! No bonuses, and the carts won't go on their own. I got fed up pretty early. I am sorry I bought it without trying it out first. Oh well. Goes to show that later versions are not necessarily better!
This is a nice looking game and the animations are pretty good. It holds my attention for about for 5 - 7 minutes at a time. Nice change to have two types of items to match (fruits and tiles). I find a few things a little irritating. One is that the puzzles don't really change from level to level. Next is that I appear to have some things to help break up tiles when I'm stuck, but I can't figure out what they do. I tried to use them, but they don't do anything and I can't find an explanation of what they are. Finally, there is little explanation of the goals. You have to break a certain number of specific types (matched fruits), but after that the level keeps going and there's no explanation of what I'm after. As soon as I find my next new game I'll forget this one and won't miss it much.
I was hoping for a new game and tried this one. I didn't like it at first. It seemed too simplistic. Once I got going I was hooked! it is challenging, fun, and addictive! I love it when you can customize the character and this one has a lot of options.
