The last game of the Awakening series is a rather short, disappointing ending to the whole story. The whole game took 2.5 hrs to complete on Dreadmyre mode, which only proves that it is neither long nor challenging. There are not that many puzzles in the game and they do not pose too many problems. Although the video is as always superb, it seems that the voice actors were changed and they are not very convincing. Finally, the game is missing some "final touches" and still has some minor bugs. All in all I think this is a game only for the biggest fans of the series, and going for the standard version seems to be a better idea.
The game is so average that it actually hurts, from visual and audio to the story side. Moreover, there were already several other games focusing around defeating the goddess of winter in various religions. A completely unused potential of slavic mythology. Moreover, the bonus content of the collector's edition is extremely poor and not related to the game content at all. After playing the demo I expected far more from this game, especially that the Myths of the World series is quite interesting.
Another great game by the authors of Awakening Series

Review after the whole game + bonus. The game is on the usual high quality level defined by Boomzap, and I really enjoyed it. The story is really nice and with a small twist, audio and video as always great (though some cut scenes leave a bit of space for improvement). I can recommend this game to anyone. It would have been nice if the collector's edition had more collectibles, but the additional game play is very enjoyable.
The weakest Dark Parables Game, though still can be enjoyable

I have been playing the Dark Parables games since the start of the series, and I must say this one is the weakest out of them. The mix of fairy tales and Indiana Jones attitude did not turn out that well. The game has a lot of characters, so the authors could not focus on them properly and they ended up rather sketchy and flat. The visual quality is as always amazing, the music is also interesting though not everyone might like it. If someone is not careful and does not collect all the Parables in the game, he will lose a big part of the story, as most of the explanations are given in them.
Apart from it, the game is still good, just not on the usual level of Blue Tea studio. Finally, it tends to crash a lot, on average once an hour.
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!
Refreshing, original game in the spirit of Jumanji

The game is extremely good and has well designed elements, from visual aspects to the story. Authors had an original, non cliche idea for the game and they realized it well. There is nothing in the game that I could complain about. It brought back the memories of one of the favorite movies from my childhood, Jumanji. Finally, often standard versions are just collector ones with cut out endings, which is not very pleasant. This is not the case here. Standard edition tells a complete story, just ending with a teaser for the collectors.
The game itself is not that bad, though unfortunately the story is very much in the background and the characters keep sending you to fetch stuff from HO scenes. After some time, it gets very repetitive and boring. There are some nice ideas in the game, such as scene timeout rather than energy cost, but it does not help much in the end. I think there are more interesting games out there.
The game is simply wonderful. It is challenging enough to make me repeat a level a few times to get the max stars. The game is very long and some of its aspects change over time. There is quite a variety of levels, so it doesn't get boring at all. A sequel better than the original.
Opinion based on demo - I am definitely buying this game later. The gameplay is pleasant, I think most people familiar with this type will know what to do. It sometimes requires a bit of a more careful planning to get the golden star. Unique thing is that you have "spoilers", e.g. creatures disturbing you that you have to chase away, and you swap between day and night - some tasks can be done only at specific time. Graphics is also quite nice, though definitely the cutscenes and loading screens are done with a bit more care than the game levels. Most important thing about the game: the story is just plainly fun! The authors tried to be a bit sarcastic, and they definitely managed that. Any technical flaws can be forgiven taken into account just how positive and not overly sweet the game is.
Opinion after playing the demo. This is one of the games that looks like made by a very young, just starting team, inspired by some older games. On the graphical level, the game is ok, though far behind such games like Awakening or Dark Parables. Sound is just boring, not to mention that at least for me, changing the options didnt give anything. HOS, although simple, are somewhat annoying. The scenes have too many indistinguishable little items that were meant to look "artistic" and sometimes there is more than one item fitting the description. Also the 3-match games are overly simple; perhaps the authors should have focused on only one type of play. In overall, this is a type of a game that can be saved by its story. Unfortunately it is not the case here, it is as cliche and shallow as can get. Princess came back to see her kingdom under attack, she is the chosen one, go help her - there you go, a frog and a pigeon for the road.
So far, this is the weakest - and the shortest - game out of the Awakening series. Unfortunately, it lacks this magical thing that all previous games had. Nevertheless, it is still quite enjoyable and graphics is as always great.
