This is not a crossword or "scrabble"-type game. You concentrate on making up the word you need that uses one or more letters already on the board. Previous words mean nothing, so words can line up side by side and still be valid. I find it difficult to stop. Succeeding levels become harder, the third island times each word, so you do have to think quickly. But I think 10-year olds would love it. This old lady certainly does. Highly recommend it.
I recommend this game!

Of all the time management games I've played, Northern Tale 2 was the most engrossing. I rarely pay attention to the "story" behind the levels but found myself charging ahead to see how it all ended. This is a very challenging game and without the generous help on the forums some levels would have been impossible for me. Thanks so much, and keep games like this coming! Well worth the money.
I recommend this game!

This game is truly addictive. It’s different from the other games I’ve played. You defend your castle by buying guns and placing them strategically along the path to your castle. Killing enemies gets you gold, which you use to purchase guns and gun upgrades. The bigger goal is to collect gems which you use after the level is finished to buy behind-the-scenes power-ups, or “units”; more gold from enemies, faster rebuild time for spells, larger damage from guns, etc. You can replay the easier levels to collect more gems as they follow you until you spend them. Gold can only be spent on that level. It’s fun, the music and sound effects aren’t necessary for game enjoyment so it’s up to you. This is a little like Plants vs. Zombies, but a lot more fun. I highly recommend it.
