I have bought all of the Puppet Show games from the start. From all of them the first 3 were wonderful games full of whimsy and imagination...this edition on the other hand was dull in comparison, almost like there was a contract for X amount of games, and this was fulfilling that contract. While I liked the music, scenery and the cute puppet helper, she didn't do but 4-5 tasks I couldn't do for myself. The only edition I like even less then this one is the one sold prior to this. Something about a collection...I didn't get but 1/3 of the way before I deleted it...so sad where it ended up from the first 3.
My favorite game since the "PuppetVille" games concluded. Rich storyline, great graphics and seamless interactions with players. Includes an easy to use map, several difficulty settings and sound functions. HOGs are crisp and well labled...a saw is a saw not a club as with some other games. Well worth buying the CE. Another hit in my book.
I have played all of this remarkable series and it has been one of my favorite stories to continue. This edition was the final in the series and in my opinion, the least worthy. As with all Elephant games, this one had wonderful graphics and sound effects. The story line seemed somewhat rushed though and the ending was thin compared to the other editions, anti-climatic even. The HOS were average as were the puzzles with some of the items mis-labled. I DO recommend all of the previous games in the story with this edition recommended just for closure's sake.
A new breed of virus has spread throughout the City of Oxford. You must search the city for a missing girl who holds the key to stopping the global epidemic!
This game had a great start with believable news footage and sounds that placed you in the thick of the action. As the game progressed though, I found the game play less than challenging and the main antagonist silly. There is a redeeming persona in the homeless man which offers aid for the price of a bag of chips. Found objects are used almost immediatly so there is no packing things around for hours waiting to use it. If you decide to buy this game, don't bother with the CE as the "Extra Chapter" has short run time and doesn't add anything to the story. Took me 10 min. to complete.
I don't recommend this game.

Well done make-over on the Davey Jones' Locker tale. Interesting puzzels, entertaining story line and speaking to the long dead to boot. I liked interacting with the troll and parlay with the crew. HOGs were clear and not too difficult, cut scenes were sharp and videos wonderfully enacted. This game replaced another for my favorite game spot!
Enter the world of Drawn. Explore the Painted Tower and unravel its mysteries on your quest to save the hope of the kingdom. Can you reach the top of the tower?
I bought this game based upon several reviews posted here, I didn't think all those people could be wrong. Sadly this game was a bust. Drawn had few redeeming features, but I can't think of any. Childish story line, weak music and narratation with minimal HO scenes and effects. Try the free hour first before buying, I should have!
I don't usually buy CE games, but the reviews sounded like I should start with this one. I wasn't disappointed in the least. The story line is a dark version of the fairy tale in which the piper brings the black death back to the city he once saved. Beautiful artwork and subtle music that adds to the feel of the story without having to adjust the volume. Mini games are easier to complete than some other games, but won't slow down the speed of the story so much that you have to review what you already did in order to move on. I think that I've found my new favorite game. One last thing, beware the red herring objects in the HO scenes and have fun
I usually like the games from Elephant but this edition was a disappointment. I bought it before I tried it, won't do that again. HOS are few, HO are easy to find and the award items are no challenge as to where they go. Constant rain and travel between two main buildings, dull play. Animations are OK at best and storyline unimaginative. Some contributers found this to be a great game, but I feel it doesn't live up to expectations.
Bought this game with a game credit yesterday, finished it today. Although the artwork IS nice, the cut scenes are poor quality, the story line thin and the characters less than believable. The mini games are simplistic to the point that I completed them all AND the game without using a hint. There is minimal back-tracking and most of the found items are used almost imediately. The sound and ambiant noises are in short supply. In short, play the trial before using your money on this game.
I liked the story line about children with supernatural powers being subjected to experimentation, then dying in a fire. Enjoyed the graphics and the almost linear movement throughout the scenes. Some back tracking involved but not enough to mess with your head. When you "Return a child's power" they loan that ability to your character which you in turn use in the story to get from one scene to another. Nice touch, but sometimes you want to use that ability and the game won't allow it. Pretty easy mini-games even in expert mode. I reccommend the game at the sale price, but not for the collector's edition price.
