I have been really disappointed with the Dark Parable games, but this is back to the quality of the first games. Good story line with blending of many fairy tales. Puzzles were challenging. One complaint was that a couple of puzzles were difficult to figure out. I had to consult the guide to even know what to do. I liked the collectibles, snowflakes, very fitting for the setting. I did have to just click around in about 5 of the scenes because I couldn't see the snowflake. Overall very fun and I hope the swan at the end was a hint of things to come!
This game is a little out of my lane as I don't usually go for the scary games, but I am so glad I did. This game had a lot of unique puzzles and different types of HOP scenes. The games were challenging, but not too hard. The story line was neat and the bonus game was a real twist! This is a great game, you won't be let down if you purchase it.
Storyline: This had an interesting and somewhat believable plot in the world of games. I liked the ties to Druidism, and the setting that was both present and past.
Graphics and sounds were great. I did have to play on my laptop as my PC didn't have the juice to keep up with it and it kept freezing up.
Games were very challenging and I even skipped one, which I never do, but it was late and I was over it. The puzzles were somewhat unique and definitely fun. The HOS were varied and all had a pop in spot. Also there were HOS that were interactive.
There are collectibles: mistletoe sprigs which I guess goes with the Druid theme were found throughout. I didn't find them all, so that will be my mission next time.
Best part is one of my Achievements was finding something in a minute and the achievement pointed out it took them over 1000 minutes to make that scene. Way to humorously remind us players of all the hard work that goes into these games.
This was a really fun game. The mini games and HOS were unique and fun, although not difficult. The story line was creepy, but not too creepy. The music got annoying, but you can turn that off. There is 4 levels of game play that you can switch. The only down side is that it was really short. It only took me a few hours to complete.
I recommend this game!

I loved this game. It had a great story line, and it was challenging without being too hard. There were some unique puzzles and the HOS were interactive. Much more challenging than just clicking. Also, it was long. I hate spending money on games and being done with them in a few hours. The only negative is that the bonus chapter seems forced, but that is typical. I also missed having morphing objects or collectibles.
Enter the role of Eve Glover, one of the best CCPP's agents, sent to investigate the lack of radio communication from your scientific team on Iceland, researching harmonium radiation.
I know I should have played the demo first, but instead I jumped right in a bought this game based on the previous Amaranthine games. This one was so disappointing. The graphics were nice and it had a somewhat decent plot, but it was really boring. The games were very easy. For example there were several puzzles that you just clicked on the puzzle piece and it automatically fit. I even played on the hard setting and it was really easy. Skip this one!
I am not one to write reviews, but I am someone who reads reviews because I have bought a lot of not so great games in my day. I decided to write a review for this game because it was a great game. The mini games were challenging but not unsolvable and the HOP were unique. It also was a fairly long game which I also like as too many I complete in a few hours. It took me about 6 hours to complete the game and another 30 minutes to complete the bonus game. The only down side was that you couldn't go back at the end and find the morphing objects and puzzle pieces you missed. The story line was a common one, but the characters were pretty interesting. You won't go wrong buying this game.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you’ve been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
I love Dark Parable games and I bought this one immediately. It is very beautiful like all the Dark Parable Games, and the story is fine although predictable. Once again a secret sibling is controlling a much more attractive and privileged sister. The HOS are classic Dark Parables where the objects you find become something useful for the game. My main problem with this game is that the mini games are so repetitive. You end up doing basically the same thing over and over and it is boring. On top of that the games are so easy. I was very disappointed and I hope the next one is better.
