An all around fun adventure! Though this game does not have the suspense and 'jumpy' moments others like Message in Haunted Mansion or Blackmoor Manor, it more than makes up for it in entertainment value.
You're on a moving train destined for Copper Gorge, and Nancy's hostess disappears! It's up to the player to find her, then find the gold mine located somewhere in the old west. Story is alright, isn't the most creative but generally engaging.
The puzzles are very fun and up to snuff, and theres always so many things to do that theres not much need to constantly wander the train cars which would take some time.
If you're looking for a good adventure I would definitely recommend this game for all Nancy Drew fans its a must play!
This is a very good game overall for those who like large adventures like this. Well done, Quality is good and its quite entertaining, though its got some weird quirks. The reason for only four stars is I hit a couple glitches, the voice acting is sometimes laughable, and the general feel you get is that its a very good game, but not really an outstanding one. Too many little things drag it down, but if you're not nitpicky then its a great buy.
Syberia I was probably my favorite game I've played, so I had high hopes for this sequel. Although I admit I enjoyed the first game more than this one, it was still a wonderful game and I don't have any complaints. If you played the first game and loved it you gotta get this one. Storyline of both are very powerful and you feel like you're right there with Kate Walker.
An extremely entertaining game, one of the best in this genre. Don't have any real complaints or things I would change, there's just the right mix of adventuring and hidden object scenes. Quite a good storyline too, this and The 13th Skull are must buys in my opinion.
I mean, this game is pretty solid overall. I've played much better games, and I've played much worse. It's a bit easy but the story sucks you in and it ends up being very fun and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Definetely give this one a look if you're into this sort of hidden object/adventure gaming.
I recommend this game!

This game is in one word, amazing. If you love adventure games it is the perfect fit. The graphics are wonderful for the year when it was made, and the music is beautiful fitting. The story I admit started out slow and I was worried I wasn't going to like it, but slowly you get immersed in Kate Walker's world, and you feel what she feels and by the end I was shouting at the screen for her to...well I won't spoil it. The characters have good emotions, they can be sarcastic or annoying or angry or downright hilarious, such as Oscar the automaton. In any case, I'm certainly buying Syberia II and hope to see Syberia III out soon. *****NOTE: to anyone wishing to buy, to play the first Syberia Game buy THIS title here, DO NOT buy the ones that say Part 1, 2, and 3. They are just this first game divided up into three sections*****

This game is very fun oriented. There's no heavy story or gore as some games in the genre have. There are a lot of things going on at once and you get absorbed in it. Very entertaining. NOTE: During the Island Of Loss level DO NOT pause the game! sometimes it causes the game to not be able to continue, idk why. Otherwise a solid game

I played Mystery Of Hillcrest High and loved it. That was a well thought out, challenging game that definitely was entertaining. This however...like the problem with it is it's just So Easy. I wish I had done the free trial instead of buying. I mean the game itself is solid storyline wise, just it's not challenging at all and you are guided throughtout the whole thing. Definitely no reply value. I'm usually very leneant with my reviews and give them 4 or 5 stars, but this just didn't compare to the previous game in this series
I don't recommend this game.

I had been waiting a long time for Big Fish to get this game for download, and I was not dissappionted when I was finally able to purchase this game. Warning: It is kinda gory and unsettling, but not as much as Awakened and it doesn't detract from the fun. I would definitely suggest 1st person mode, it makes you feel like you are Holmes, and you're actually in Victorian London rather than playing a game about it. Challenging but not overly so, If you're a fan of Frogwares Holmes Franchise don't miss out!
I recommend this game!

This is definitely a solid game. I recommend it if you don't really have much else to play and need a game to pass the time. I wasn't disappointed, it just became kind of tedious doing the same format of gameplay in similar rooms seemingly endlessly. *Just a hint, if you don't like the timer, press the Alt. key and the timer will stop until you click, allowing you to search without the timer. I just hit the Alt. key after each time I found an item and didn't have to worry about time. But, overall, not a bad choice.
