I love this game. It is whimsical and charming. There is of course a dark element. The graphics are timeless like the Drawn series. This is an adventure game with no HO'S. I did miss those but there is sooooo much to do that it wasn't a big deal. This game is like a CE. Many scenes and not a lot of back and forth because of how the game is laid out.
This is a game I will play again and again. That's the biggest compliment I can give.
When the entire audience disappears from a film screening at an old theater, you must go behind the scenes to find out who is running the mysterious Nightmare Cinema.
This is a good solid game with very imaginative but creepy graphics. I was both attracted and repelled by them. Very long playing time Music enhances the creepy factor Great HO"S Loads of puzzles Interactive map (which you need) Many locations You have to think about what to do next
I usually don't like creepy games but this one is something special. Buy the CE and enjoy the journey.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…
This was a long long game with a twist, you select who is guilty based on the evidence you find. ERS stepped it up a few notches with the colored graphics - really beautiful. The storyline is good There are many many locations The HO'S are varied and interactive Loads of puzzles The music is pretty but a bit tiresome after listening to it for hours The bonus game is fairly short but adds to the overall story I loved the part where you collect items for your kitten
This is a first class game that I will play again. I've been choosy about buying CE'S and this was a great CE. GO FOR IT !!!
This is another good sequel to Secrets of the Dark. Many many locations This has the light changing the rooms with separate and joined things to do. Very long playing time The music was different from the usual Orneon uses and I liked it. A mixture of different HO'S - a plus Lots of puzzles Good graphics No map Good hint system that I used a couple of times I had a lot of fun playing this. A great game worth your time.
The Brothers Grimm have assigned the task of revealing the truth behind missing children in the town of Arbourshire; it is up to you to discover the secrets of the Fairy Tale Mystery, before it is too late.
I enjoyed this game. While the storyline is familiar, there is lots to do. Decent graphics A good balance of HO'S and mini games Music appropriate Not too much running around Long playing time The hint button is helpful outside of HO'S There is no map You have to think about what you are doing A fun game worthy of your time.
This is a complex game with loads to do. While I wasn't wowed with the plot, the execution of this game is phenomenal. There is an interactive map - and you will need it. Great graphics Long long playing time Lots of HO'S (sometimes what they call an object is different than what the item is.) Some different puzzles Challenging All in all, A great buy.
This is a good edition to the Grim Tales series. As the story unfolds, you are taken to different places to solve that part of the game. Then back to the house and than whisked away again. FUN!! Good storyline Great graphics Long playing time Lots of HO'S and puzzles It adds another dimension to the saga. A good buy for Grim Tales fans.
While this was my least favorite in the series, it is a good and imaginative game. The graphics are timeless and whimsical. I also enjoyed the music. This is a game that doesn't hold your hand. You have to check all of every scene to find everything. You have to think and use your wits and that is the strength of this whole series. The biggest compliment I can give is that I will play these games again and again.
This game has pretty graphics with bold and colors. Love that! The storyline is not original but there is plenty to do and lots of fun. Long playing time Great graphics Some red herrings to confuse you Some backtracking Many many locations and you can get lost HO'S crisp All in all a good buy...go for it.
This is a good basic game with no real zing. While there is lots to do, the storyline is mundane and didn't excite at all. Graphics are somewhat grainy Music low key Lots of different mini games for lovers of those Long playing time Interactive map which showed when an area was completed Hint and skip buttons refill fast in casual mode HO'S items small but I found most of them This is a good game to get on sale or with coupon. This is a puzzle lovers game.
