Based on demo only -- when it ended I was disappointed, wanted to continue playing. I'm definitely going to use a free coupon for this one but would also purchase when there's a half-price sale on.
No technical issues -- game play was smooth, graphics are nice and clear (no tiny, hard to differentiate from each other icons) and the sound effects weren't annoying at all. It wasn't the most exciting, challenging M3 I've played but better than many recently offered. I had to repeat a few levels because I didn't defeat the dragon the first time around and I really appreciate not being allowed to spend as long as I liked to complete a level without ever 'dying'. There has to be some challenge to an M3 or I just find it too boring to play for very long. That said, in the demo, I didn't find any level very difficult to complete. I did have to keep reminding myself at first to keep an eye on the levels in my opponent's weapons bars too, not just my own. Since I wasn't asked to enter a player name, I assume only one person can play the game at a time and that can be a drawback if someone in your household also wants to play the game before you complete it.
If you're a fan of M3 games, I recommend that you at least give the demo a try and see for yourself. M3 fans don't always share the same tastes in story, gameplay, etc. but I liked this one well enough to purchase.
I recommend this game!

I played the first Chapter of the demo and was too bored to continue. Just a big disappointment. The artwork and music are very similar to Solitaire Detective: Framed -- must be by the same developers.
I don't mind a click and drag sort of M3 game -- a couple of my old favourites are the same type so that didn't affect my opinion at all. Game play is too slow (call it "relaxed" if you like but this one's painfully slow, IMO). I wasn't even turned on by the story, voiced at the start and between chapters (slowly), just reading/no voices between each level (slow going again but at least you could click on the speech bubble here to move things along a bit faster). No bonuses awarded for matching 4; must match 5 to get the "sun" bonus which is just your standard 'blow up a few neighbouring blocks' kind of bonus. Nothing new, nothing exciting; all been done before, many times.
There was absolutely nothing about this game that interested me so I can't recommend. But if you do like a super laid-back M3 with no challenge (at least in the first chapter), give the demo a try.
I don't recommend this game.

I love the Vacation Adventures series (Park Rangers and Cruise Director) -- almost as much as the Christmas Wonderland series and my personal favourite of all-time, Halloween Trick or Treat 2. The Big City Adventures series is good fun, too!
These games all involve a more 'old fashioned' type of play -- find the hidden objects (some are very well-hidden and present a welcome challenge) with each HO scene followed by a simple minigame. They're wonderful to play when you're feeling like more relaxed and simple gameplay. They're also great family games that kids enjoy playing with their mom/dad/grandma/grandpa, make for a fun time together and are educational, too! Every game is EXTREMELY wholesome so one never has to worry about anything inappropriate popping up on the screen. I personally get good value from each one I've purchased because I've played them all more than once and enjoyed them every time.
As per usual, this one has crisp, clear, beautiful graphics, the story is interesting and informative and I can count on hours of great fun ahead of me!
I recommend this game!

I'll be buying this one, found myself pleasantly entertained playing the demo tonight. The graphics, audio, cut scenes are excellent, story is interesting enough -- it all comes together to create a "halloween-scary" atmosphere.
The hidden object scenes were enjoyable -- not frustratingly difficult, not overly obvious. I found the minigames in the demo to be easy, a couple of them too tedious/boring. In my opinion, it's not the game you want if you're looking for something challenging but one I recommend for a few hours of entertaining fun.
I recommend this game!

I'm a big Match 3 fan but this one plays far too slow for my liking. Obviously how much you like it or not depends on the type of gameplay you prefer - fast, slow, limited moves, timed, whether a story is an important part of the game for you or not.
I don't like to have to wait for all matched pieces to drop off the board before I can make another match. On top of that, the game itself just played slow for me, don't know if anyone else has experienced the same or if that's caused by something on my end. I wasn't impressed by the storyline either and found the graphics very basic/simple and meant to appeal more to small children. I didn't find anything "new" here compared to the first version but I didn't complete the demo, gave it a try for about 20 minutes.
I don't recommend this game.

I was hoping this game was a throwback to the Campfire Legends series from several years ago. I really had fun playing those at the time and have grown tired of this genre in recent years, am always on the lookout for something new and different. Many games are well-crafted and deserving of praise but after playing so many, I'm just plain bored with them; that's just me. Sorry to say, this one wasn't the nostalgic trip I'd anticipated but I can't say I was disappointed either. It's a little bit of a change from what's been offered over the past few years and well done.
The storyline held my interest -- a good, old bonfire/campfire, spooky tale. No garish colour palette overwhelming every scene, no fairies or cutesy helpers, yay! The graphics and audio are excellent in my opinion, game play's nice and smooth, and I was entertained enough by the hidden object scenes and minigames to want to continue playing after completing the demo. I recommend you try it out yourself, might be your cup of tea, might not.
I recommend this game!

Perfect for those times you just want to relax and play a game with no stress involved. Like the Christmas Wonderland and Park Ranger series, it's also a great family game -- I find younger children love playing all of them with a parent or grandparent, sister, brother, friend.
The mini-games in this one are different from the same old-same old normally found in these games but still easy to solve. Some of the hidden objects are quite challenging to find because they blend so well into the scene; the coins and shields are extremely easy to find, however.
I recommend this game!

I'm a big M3 fan and always on the lookout for something new and different that holds my interest. This one is certainly challenging so far -- the bonuses are quite different in how they look and work and there are so many of them, introduced so quickly, that it's plenty challenging for me just trying to remember what they do. On top of that, game play is timed AND you have a limited number of moves so you must play fast, strategically and keep your eyes peeled for those many bonuses that appear. Without them, you won't be able to complete the board you're playing very early on in the game.
I can tell this is a game I'll need to play at least several more levels of, or even the entire game more than once, to become as skilled at playing as I need/want to be. That's not a complaint -- since I crave new and different, I have to be willing to learn and practice when I find one on offer. I always get more than my money's worth when I find a good, challenging, out-of-the-ordinary M3 I love because I'll play it over and over when I'm in the mood for that kind of game. I think this one has a good chance of becoming a new favourite but it's too difficult to tell yet, based only on the demo. It's possible it'll soon become too frustratingly difficult but I'm of the opinion that this one is worth taking that chance on.
You earn up to 4 cards in each level, accumulate points to buy boosters with (that you'll need by the time you're allowed to purchase them!). At level 12, I was allowed two boosters -- an additional 5 moves or pause the timer -- and I needed both to finish the board successfully. If you don't complete a level before the timer runs out, you can keep playing but lose a card. If you run out of moves, you must replay the level. I'm not a fan at all of limited moves, would prefer that wasn't such an integral part of the game but it is. It's very challenging trying to find those strategic moves needed while racing the clock at the same time but that'll become easier, as it always does, once one becomes more familiar/practiced with it.
If you're also looking for something different and challenging, I highly recommend you play the demo because it certainly is both, at least for me. It's not one for those who only like relaxed play.
I recommend this game!

I've never played the first Zombie Solitaire and have only purchased two solitaire games over the years, don't normally find that genre a whole lot of fun. A good one makes a nice change of pace every once in a while so I thought I'd give this one a try based on the reviews so far.
I'm glad I did. I had fun playing the demo, found it more challenging than the other solitaire games I've tried and was pleasantly surprised to find the M3 boards included aren't just super easy, time fillers. I really enjoyed playing those, too and found it very challenging to get more than one star. The couple of HO scenes I encountered in the demo were short and easy but broke up the solitaire play which kept that from getting boring. Since I'm not a big fan of solitaire games, I'll be buying this one with a coupon or during a two for one sale. If you love to play solitaire games, I highly recommend this one. It's definitely more fun than the usual, not just one easy solitaire hand after another.
I recommend this game!

I don't know how I overlooked this one when it first came out but I'm glad I noticed it today and played the demo. What fun! A unique twist on the usual and if you're a fan of this type of game, I highly recommend you give this Greatest City Mosaics a try. I was disappointed with one of the puzzles in the demo, was forced to either use hints or guess, but that was more than made up for by the enjoyment I had otherwise. A for sure buy for me!
I recommend this game!
