Don't be fooled by the easy levels in the beginning. It picks up later. Might still be too easy for experts but just right for me. I don't usually pay any attention to the story in TM games but this one got me hooked. A few graphics were way out of proportion like the giant ashtray but I can overlook that for a really fun game.

Out of over 1000 games I have played, Northern Tales is my favorite series. I have been waiting for a new one for so long and here it is. I love the story, characters, gameplay, graphics, everything. The sound from the animals is cute and I even like the music. I hope it doesn't take so long for another in the series to be introduced.
This game has it all, various modes of play, can use regular cursor, lots of hidden objects to search for and it wasn't glitchy on my older computer which a lot of the newer games are.
I realize we all like different things but this game is perfect for me. I am happy to be playing it today. If you are a TM fan, give it a try.
I haven't always been a fan of this series but decided to give this one a try and glad that I did. I can see where it would be too easy for the experts but it was just right for me. We all like different things and levels of difficulty so I say give this one a try.
I don't play many HO games anymore but took a chance on this one. It is outstanding and kept my interest all the way through. Excellent story. My only complaint was you couldn't get rid of the custom cursor, only minimize it.
You came to the town of Brownville, Louisiana hoping to find a new job. But you weren't expecting to stumble upon a strange adventure in a world filled with beauty and danger!

This one surprised me. It was very long, visually beautiful, complex and held my interest all the way through. So much to do and the bonus chapter was long as well.
I don't buy too many CE's but this one was definitely worth it. The only negative for me was I sometimes had to click more than once and have the cursor in exactly the right spot to pick up an item in the HO's.

Raincliff was the first game that really hooked me on BF. I had been disappointed in the mcf games (I must be the only one) and then Raincliff got me excited about adventure games again.
This sequel is outstanding imo. I own hundreds of games and only a few hold my interest right from the beginning. The Mystery Trackers games never disappoint me.
Good enough to make me give my first review after all these years. Yes, some things could be improved but so many things were great about it that I overlooked the negatives.
Others have given the details, just wanted to say how much I liked it even though I usually like the lighter, prettier games. A walkthrough, getting rid of the transition map and a bit more light in the HO scenes would certainly help this game.
