As an older person, I need a skip button on some of the ones that require me to move the mouse quickly (especially when using a trackpad). I was able to finish all of the games in the demo, but was worried that as they increased in difficulty, I would have some I would not be able to get past. Without a skip option for those games, I was worried I would get stuck and not be able to play all of the levels. Too bad. I was really enjoying the challenge of the logic puzzles. I would love to see more games like this, but with that skip option for the ones that require speed and dexterity.
I recommend this game!

I love this developer. I own many of their games and they never disappoint in quality of story, game play, mechanics and graphics. I downloaded this game "wondering" based on some of the reviews here and was happy to discover the same great quality as in previous games along with bright and beautiful graphics.
Looking forward to hours of fun, especially now that we are stuck home due to covid coupled with wildfire smoke.
I recommend this game!

I did not think I would like this game since it is the kind of solitaire where once you remove all of the gold cards it does not allow you to remove the remaining cards from the tableau, but I have fallen in love with the game and replay it often. I like the level of challenge & strategy required to win (it's just right...sometimes having to replay certain hands) and I think the background artwork is quite beautiful.
I work to get a perfect score on each hand and that's not always easy. It also is a challenge to think about how to try and remove all of the cards (or as many as possible) before removing the last gold card. Some hands give you large draw piles and some small draw piles, so you have to really think about how to use your coins, jokers and shuffles to get through those hands with smaller draw piles.
Two modes: Newbie (which let's you replay any hand at any time) and Professional which allows you to replay a hand immediately, but once you've left that hand, you cannot replay it without restarting the entire level). Not much of a storyline, but I don't mind. I play it for the solitaire fun and a storyline (if not super developed) would likely be more of an annoyance here.
There are 20 levels and each level has 10 hands. You need to earn a minimum number of gold cards on a level in order to advance to the following level (but you do not have to be perfect on each level).
You can purchase undos, jokers (wild cards) and shuffles and you can also earn jokers, shuffles and coins via special cards. Coins are also earned by the number of cards you remove from the tableau (with faster game play earning more coins).
I like that it allows me to turn off the game cursor (which sometimes makes my computer run slowly, so I usually don't purchase games that don't have this option).
There are three choices for card faces and nine options for card back colors (some colors are harder to see against the backgrounds).
It may seem difficult at first, but I've played it many times and can complete the game with a perfect score...it just takes persistence and thoughtful/creative strategies for the use of coins, shuffles and jokers.
I recommend this game!

Review based on demo. I really enjoyed a similar game, Pixel Art 2, and thought this game might be similar. Unfortunately, it lacks two of the features that make Pixel Art 2 enjoyable (the ability to drag to paint and the double-click power-up to fill large areas at once). This game is just clicking on spaces, whereas Pixel Art 2 required some thought and planning as to when to use the double-click feature (since it takes time to refill that "power-up") and also the challenge of click/drag and accidentally filling the wrong colors. Those features made Pixel Art 2 challenging (if you wanted it to be) and requiring enough thought along with the relaxation of filling the picture to make the game enjoyable for me. This game, unfortunately, without those features, was boring for me.
I don't recommend this game.

This game is similar to solving picross the old-fashioned way...with a pencil and paper. I have really enjoyed it so far (on my 16th game and no guessing has been required).
There are 40 levels; each level appears to have four games (levels are locked until the previous level is completed, so I don't know if future levels will have more or less games).
So far, I have not needed a hint, but it appears I easily have enough coins now if I need one. I've been able to solve all so far with logic and working through mistakes I made when my "logic" has been mistaken.
Pros: Game can be solved using logic. The computer does not automatically cross off squares or numbers for you, so you really have to use careful logic to complete without guessing. I like this aspect. So far, no penalty for errors, which I prefer since it is easy to mis-click (i.e., trying to X a square and marking it instead). No worrying about changing colors, etc. Just plain logic and challenge to solve.
Cons: I only gave four stars because the game does not have an erase feature. Since the game does not show you where you have made an error, it needs to allow you to erase an X or a mark (you can change a mark to an X or vice versa, but you cannot clear a square...which it really needs to allow you to do when you mark or X by mistake). This makes it very difficult when you are trying to use logic. It should allow you to blank out the square or put in a question mark or something other than a mark or X. Hoping a future version will include an erase feature.
I recommend this game for those who enjoy a true challenge...like the old days of picross on paper when you didn't have a computer to cross of boxes or numbers for you.
I recommend this game!

I really wanted to give this game 5 stars. I loved the last Trito game and I enjoyed my trial on this one. I cannot, however, give more than 2 stars to a game where, the second time in a row, the developer did not give us any option to replay the game once it is finished (the first Trito ends and you cannot replay it and this one appears as if it will be the same). What a disappointment. Additionally, they reused the introductory stories from the original game, so there is no continuity to the story (so my Storyline rating is low)...I had considered purchasing it on sale (due to the lack of replay value) just to continue the story, but since there is no continuity to the story and since I really would rather not reward a developer that does not allow purchasers to replay the game once it is finished, I will not be purchasing the game. Bummer :-( I hope the developer will make the next one replayable.
Aside from the above, the game play is really fun. I don't mind the limited moves. It makes it challenging (in a good way for me) and sometimes I have to play a level a few times to figure out the puzzle to solving it...but since I can only play the game once, it takes away a ton of the value for me and lowers the "Fun Factor" tremendously. Additionally, it means that only one person in the family can play it because it does not allow for multiple profiles. I would normally want to play these games again as would others in the family.
For all of the reasons listed above, I cannot recommend this game.
I don't recommend this game.

If you enjoy MatchVentures or Lily's Epic Quest, you will likely enjoy this game as well. It's sort of a mix between the two (the challenge/style of MatchVentures and the treasure hunting fun of Lily's). Help your grandfather by hunting through caves to find gems, talismans and other valuable items. Navigate through the caves by making matches. Sell found items in town for useful power-ups and help fix up the run-down town at the same time.
I recommend this game!

This game is a great challenge for those who like picross or nonogram puzzles that require lots of thinking and logic to solve (vs. just easy fill-ins that are totally obvious). I've had to use some hints, but I think that is because sometimes I just can't figure out where to click due to the fantastic complexity of the puzzles (not necessarily because the game is not using logic). I have enjoyed the challenge. Many other griddler games become so boring when I am just filling in lots of blocks that are totally obvious.
I gave it four stars for a few reasons: The pictures don't always look like actual pictures when solved (since I play for challenge, this is not that big of an issue); storyline is uninteresting; developers did not take into account trackpad users (for example, if using a trackpad on the Mac I have not found any way to escape out of a mis-click without actually filling in the spot...this results in unwanted errors which is my biggest complaint).
Overall - a nice challenge for those who want to spend time solving via logic.
I recommend this game!

I loved the first game in this series and was pleased to see a second one. Yes, the game play is similar to the first, but the boards are different, so that makes the game interesting. The reason I enjoy this game is because each board has a puzzle-like setup requiring some logic to solve. To me, the replay value is there as well...I like to play with limited moves and see how few moves I can use to solve each board.
Taking a moment to look at the board before you start matching will help. Figure out which components need to be eliminated first in order to move through the board successfully. The ability to move dynamite power-ups makes it even more interesting from a logic standpoint. Further, exploding power-ups may or may not require the cost of a move (if playing limited moves) so thinking about how and when to use them adds to the fun.
Since I enjoy match 3 games and also logic style puzzles, these two games are perfect for me. I have played the first one over and over so I am pleased to have a second one with different boards to shake up the replay value.
I recommend this game!

I purchased this game and I am a little over halfway through. It's great to have a TRUE nonogram-type of game that really requires thought and logic. Other games I have played have bored me because we are often left with obvious choices to boringly fill in...not this game. You must use logic pretty much to the end of each puzzle and the further you get in the game, the more deliciously difficult the puzzles get.
One suggestion for the devs: Because these puzzles require time to complete (thank you for that), it would be helpful if we could save a game when we need to exit. I can only play this when I know I'm going to have a block of time so I don't end up losing all of my work because I have to log out. Otherwise, this game is a 5-star all the way for me.
Thanks for a great challenge. Hope to see more like this for the Mac.
I recommend this game!
