When the CE first came out, I was not impressed so I didn't bother. Tired of supernatural games. But this game, I have to say it a buy. Between CE or SE, I would prefer this for one good reason. I base my opinion on the story line. THIS not only give me the creeps (in which some times makes me jump) but also holds my interest on what is going on next. True, the CE has more stuff and bonuses but this held my interest to the end of the demo time (which is very important}. The story is about a friend that sent you a letter about this hotel. You get there and someone (maybe the owner) is being judge, jury and executioner. So far, on my demo.playing there's a judge and a car racer that was murder. The story is so well written I'm dying to find out what happens nest. A must to have in you collections.
I recommend this game!

First, I believe that music is important from movies to games. It can make or break a game. But the music was not only annoying but gave me a headache. Yes, I can turn it off (in which I did) but it's not the same with music. It's a very challenging game for that I have to agree but to me, I would rather spend my money on something that first gives me pleasure and second give me good quality game. There's a lot of challenging games with good visual/sound quality. If the music does not annoy you then try it out and get it. As for me, I would rather save my money on something better.
I don't recommend this game.

First if you have any solitaire games from 8Floor the program is basic the same. Nothing new to this game but honestly it's the same as Knight Solitaire (if you have it). I have the Christmas one that they did and I like that better. It's becoming redundant with these games. I do like the graphics but the music came from the Christmas version. I would recommend the first one. Please try this out for yourself. IF you like and want to spend the money then by all means get it but for me even though I like the graphics I would rather save my money for something better. I wished that they had another pick when they asked if you recommend this game. If it had yes, no or maybe I'll tell you maybe. But the only two things is either yes or no then no. If you have the first one there's no reason why you should get this one. It's one and the same the only difference is the graphic.
I don't recommend this game.

Jewel Match has now have three different modes. First, relaxed mode (which people will be happy) the second mode is timed (again for some happy) but this time the developers added another mode which is limited moves. So now, you can pick what you are happy with. The graphics has a snowy wonderland and the music is great. Wished that this was out during the Christmas holiday, but I will purchase this for next Christmas. As always, the game has different sections to complete when completed the area turns green. This game is very similar to Jewel Match IV.in which the more points you get the more you can add to the picture.I'm terrible in limited moves so I tried that mode and I'm surprised so far I had no problems. I may have problems in the future but for now I'm happy with the mode. Gotten tired on timed and relaxed mode anyway.
I recommend this game!

I gave this a five star because I love the graphics and the music is mostly Medieval tune which I like. The challenge is solitaire. The bad news, it's free to play. Yes, it's free until you run out of hearts. You lose a heart when you don't remove all the cards (even if there's only one card left). You only gain a heart if all the cards are removed. So if you don't have any hearts then either you have to wait or purchase more hearts. Two hearts for only .99 cents. You also have to purchase wild cards and stamina. Even though I love this game, this game will cost a lot of money in my pocket book. So if you don't mind of purchasing then I would recommend this game. As for me, I have enough solitaire games to play and I also learned a hard lesson regarding free to play. If I could purchase this game out right, then I would but it's free to play and that's another story.
I recommend this game!

I also purchased this and not sorry for doing so. I have to agree , that this is more like a free to play. Again, I also gave a four stars and not five for two reason: 1. You have certain amount of moves which I don't mind if were some levels but all of them and 2. because the big no no in the match three.
I recommend this game!

If you ever heard of the phrase:"Don't judge a book by its cover"? that not far from the truth. When I first saw this game, I was turned off by the name along with the elf on the cover. I though another solitaire game for kids. Boy, was I ever wrong. The graphics is fantastic, the music reminds me of winter and the card are the cutest" Santa Clause, Snow Queen, Snowman If anything, not only did this put me in the Christmas Spirit but I really enjoyed the game. Having some hot chocolate playing solitaire. Even thinking of home. :<sigh> My hats off to the developers. A must buy.
I recommend this game!

I honestly wanted to give this game a five star. Love the graphics, the music is excellent (put me in the Christmas Spirit) the storyline (to me) is going to a Christmas party. The main reason why I didn't give this a five star is because of the challenge. Either I'm getting good on these kind of games or this is simple. In the demo alone, I got three stars (some with only one mistake) and I'm on level 12 and it took me only 10 mins. It starts out with 5 X 5 grids and that took me only a few seconds. This game is for a relaxing evening with some hot chocolate or with the kids. But it's not a challenging game because even I can get three stars with no problem I will purchase this game for the relaxing time and it did put me in the Christmas Spirit but don't expect to be challenged.
I recommend this game!

True, this famous tale was done so many different ways. Now it's in game form and I love the way Elephant did it. There's two different Scrooge's the good and the bad and in all honesty, we all have two sides and depending on how we choose our life is where we are at this point of time. That's what the story was all about. Scrooge at the present was miserable man and we need to change the past for change Scrooge present. The past had bad Scrooge destroyed the engagement ring that Scrooge was supposed to give to Belle in turn made the present Scrooge miserable. By changing the past and replacing the ring for a better ring, Scrooge's present was changed. He did married Belle and was happy but what happened was the bad Scrooge destroyed the letter that Scrooge was suppose to help Tiny Tim. If not, Scrooge will still be miserable. But in the end, he did help get the medicine for Tiny Tim but for Scrooge to totally be happy, we need the sand of time to finish everything. In the end, good won and Scrooge and everyone had a very Merry Christmas. A very well thought out game on a Dickens' Classic. The music was excellent and I had tears when they sung Silent Night. Graphics is excellent and the bonus was well though off and love when Santa Cat snoring and almost missed Christmas. This along with the Nut Cracker will be a Christmas game every year that I'll play.
I recommend this game!

Christmas Puzzle was always a tradition ever Christmas even this year. Decorating the outside of the house. Now, you can decorate the inside of the house. Very nice fireplace with a fir Christmas tree to decorate. I like the windows with the fall of snow and the full moon in the background. The game is very simple and there's a time or relaxed mode. I used the timed and got three stars that's how simple it is but relaxing at the same time. The music came from the first game and there were times that it got on my nerves. But it put me in the Christmas Spirit like the first one so not only will Christmas Puzzle was a tradition now Christmas Puzzle 2 will be one of the games on the list every year to play. I think that some will consider this boring and it can be but this game is for after dinner and something a whole family can do. Great for kids and the young in heart. In sum, simple and relaxing. Finally note: I love the fireplace.
I recommend this game!
