I just bought this game a week ago and I've been playing it over and over. What really makes me laugh are all the sounds and noises you hear from all the jewels and rocks and colors bouncing off each other. The visual in this game is stunning! From the artwork in the back scenes to the flashing colored lights and all the rest, this game should win an award for best visual. The challenge is just the right level, and I love all the powerups available. Fun to play.

I bought this game before the demo ended. I like "tinkering" with it, finding patterns and blasting obstacles, and I especially like the sounds. Crashing and exploding and just the general overall feel of the game. It's complicated enough but not too complicated. Addicting. Overall a great game to play.

I played the Demo until the end, then waited for Christmas to buy it. I love this game! I am on the last set of challenges now. This is a visually pleasing game with all types of colors and movements and explosions going on. And it has just the right amount of challenge. Overall it's fun to play. If you are familiar with Clear It games, you will know how to use the strategies. A true mind-bender.
I have played a lot of Clearit games in the past but stopped playing for a couple years or so. Tried Clearit 10 and while I got hooked right away again, I feel this this round is for advanced players. Starting on level 4 it gets hard, and that's when it stops being fun. You spend lots of time trying to figure out even one move. I like challenge in a game but this one gets to be like work instead of play at the higher levels.

I have played lots of time management games and I know when one of them is fun to play. This one is not. This game just isn't very fun. The graphics are very nice and I like that you can queue up tasks for your workers, and I like the creatures on the road that you have to blast out of the way. There are some enjoyable things to this game. You can play relaxed mode all you want.
But it is too SLOW and plodding, and that is the joy-killer. You have to think too hard for too little action from your workers. Tools that can aid you are placed in too hard to get places. Food, wood and other vitals are sometimes too hard to get to and too slow in producing.
The game isn't a complete failure. I still give it three stars because I have all the developers games and I know this is a quality product. It's just a "miss" this time in the fun department.

I play all the Whiterra games and I really enjoy them very much, especially the Adelantado series. I'm disappointed with this newest game because it is too short, for one. It took me a long long time to get good at Adelantado, but this one I am already at the hard mode and it's only been about 3 weeks since I bought it. I feel that I didn't get my money's worth. The graphics are really beautiful and I love the snow country, but I feel the game should have been much longer.
Something funny is that the workers start out in the sunny country wearing shorts, short sleeved shirts and sandals, and that's what they also wear when they are in the snow country. Is that an oversight?
At any rate, the game is fun to play for what it is. I'll still play it but I can't help my disappointment.
I bought this game on sale and am glad I did. I know within the first minute if I like a game or not, and this game I knew was a winner for me. I enjoy the theme park, the conversations are funny, I like the HO scenes although some of the items are too small to see. And then there is the arcade where you can go to play all sorts of challenging side games. Some I have no clue how to play, but others are fun. Lots to do here. Very relaxing game.Well worth the money.
This game is by the developers of the Adelantado Trilogy series, which is my favorite game to play of all time. I didn't expect the same scope of game or challenge as Adelantado, but I did expect more of a challenge than this game offers. New Gen 2 is great visually, and I love the music and sound effects, but it is slow and plodding, and not much fun. And you can't click on tasks ahead of time but must wait until the guy gets back to home base for most of the tasks. If you want to play an easy time management game that is kind of fun and not much of a challenge, this game is for you. I recommend it, but not with a lot of enthusiasm.
I think the other reviewers did an exquisite job of explaining all the good things about this game, so I'm going to focus on a couple really irritating things that almost ruined the entire game for me, like the massive amount of mini-games. Everywhere I turned there was a mini-game and I got super tired of them. Luckily you can hit the skip button which I did most of the time. I like the HOS games, but most of the others were kind of dumb.
The other very irritating thing was the smart phone beeping all the time in the bonus game. I mean, please....who needs that awful interruption and that awful sound breaking up your concentration? Very unpleasant feature.
I absolutely love Subliminal Realms - Masterpiece...it's one of my all time favorites, but this current Atis game pales in comparison. I would recommend playing The Call of Atis first, and then play Masterpiece. Save the best for last, then maybe you won't be as disappointed in The Call of Atis as I was.
I downloaded the demo and inside the hour I knew I had to buy the game. I like games that make me sit there and think through moves instead of clicking on the mouse like crazy, and this game is one of those. Directions are pretty nil, and all the ways to move the pieces are not self-evident. I was getting stuck early on so I went to the online Caveman Physics forum to see if I could find any tips. Luckily one of the advanced players put up Youtube videos that walk you through the steps.
Maybe some kids will do well with this game but for me it's quite the challenge. Yet it keeps my interest and the time passes by quickly. You get your money's worth with a game like this since you can play over and over and each time it will challenge you.
