I'm not a huge Elvis fan, but for those who are - this game would be heavenly. Unlock home movies, performances, etc about The King while solving a pretty routine mystery.
The steps aren't always intuitive but the hint button is generous. I didn't have to skip any of the minigames because they are all pretty much the same couple of games over and over.
It's nothing new or special - but solid fun, great graphics and if elvis still makes your heart flutter - awesome videos.
I recommend this game!

Got carpal tunnel? Want it? You can have it with Cradle of Rome. This game is so addicting and fun you won't want to stop until your wrist falls off.
Toward the upper levels it is crazy hard. But, nice challenges with different bonuses, working to the goal of mount olympus, and building yourself from peasant to emporer.
Music is delightful and the game moves swiftly along adding things each turn so no two screens look the same.
I predict at the end you will say 1 thing:
"I hate those chains!" -- still you will love this game - long, and worth the cost.
I recommend this game!

Travelling back in time to save the prince and his ancient kingdom was a ton of fun. The story line is interesting and laid out in a very compelling fashion with each character giving you a piece as it goes on.
Graphics: Beautiful. Items clear and easy to find, scenes are very well done, whether inside/outside/day/dark.
Challenge good: Range of minigames from easy to medium hard challenge. Instructions on how to do the games not always helpful but most easy enough to get. Adventure requirements (Use the X to do X) were not always intuitive and I had to use the walk through twice.
Music: Non-distracting and calming.
Overall an interesting and fun mystery. Can't wait to place the next one.
I recommend this game!

It's so hard to do a second game after such a good first one like "The Bride" - but this game follows up and to me, is even better. There's a sly humor, fantastic puzzles with a good degree of difficulty and wonderful visuals.
The story line is as engaging as the first one, and the visuals and cutaways are fantastic. Good balance of HOS and minipuzzles with lots of story thrown in so it isn't just puzzle after puzzle. Hint button is generous and fast, and the map is functional so you can figure out where to go next without having the hint specifically tell you.
Very intuitive game play. Enjoyable. It's a longer game - but I was sad to see it end.
I recommend this game!

Do not pass Go, and for do not spend money buying this game.
Graphics are poor HOS are laughably easy and worst of all - there is no real navigation. There's no way to tell how to enter or exit the room. The cursor makes a slight color change if you're quick to catch it. But there's no real navigation to speak of and the hint only works half the time.
Bad outing by Nat Geo -- nice facts about Titanic and nice story set up. But once you start playing its just frustration station - no real pattern or sense - just rooms, HOS, and dead ends.
Avoid this game.
I don't recommend this game.

Everything about this game works well.
Graphics and the fun cutaway scenes make it visually interesting. The HOS scenes have good sized objects with the right amount of challenge.
The story and set scenes make this game work well. The movie sets, the projector goal - all of it works to create one flowing story that is varied enough to keep your interest. It's a long game, but not too long.
The clues are very intuitive and the map and hints are helpful. The only thing I didn't like were some of the puzzles had instructions that were so obtuse I couldn't tell how to play the puzzle - but a few experimental clicks and I got it.
Great game -- dive in and enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I got this on a 2.99 special and didn't expect much - but this was a great little game. Well worth more than I paid.
First - the visuals, graphics, sound are amazing. beautifully rendered, nice voice-overs, wonderful cut scenes. It's a stunning game to look at.
Second - its a challenge. The story line is a bit confusing at first but makes more sense later on. The HOS are clear but some objects are hard to see/find. The Hint is generous and replenishes fast however. Most other puzzles are easy and they do have a skip feature. It is not an very "intuitive" game - I had to use the hint to figure out where to go/what to do next a couple of times.
On the whole, however, an engaging character, an interesting story, a challenge to figure out, and nice scenes/music.
I recommend this game!

This is only the second game I've bought and quit playing because I was so bored with it and disliked it so much I wasn't playing at all. So, instead of avoided games I enjoy - I just quit this one and played a better one.
The scenes are robotic. 3/4 of the game is finding a collection of things to put together to make 1 thing, then finding out where it goes and places it.
The story is mysterious but the game is unguided. You're never really in pursuit of anyone or anything. You just wander aimless from clue to clue putting things together.
The graphics are beautiful and the game was well rendered.
Dreadfully slow and terribly dull
I don't recommend this game.

The story follows (almost exactly) the version of Jack the Ripper found in the graphic novel/movie "From {that hot place with fire}" ( BF won't let me say the word) - so if you liked that theory - you'll like this game.
Puzzles are elementary easy, but fun. The dialogue is very stiff and dry. This game could use an infusion of some kind of distraction.
You play 3 characters all looking for answers about Jack the Ripper. The game has a nice interface so you always know who you are in the game and what your goal is.
However, the game seems long - by the end you're rushing through the puzzles because you're ready for it to stop. Once you know the killer, you'll find this game misses several opportunities to end.
However, good graphics - easy to see HOS, interesting ideas - all make it worth the price.
I recommend this game!

Everything on this games works well:
The graphics and cut-movies are great. The different statues and personalities add so many dimensions. The story twists and turns.
The items are very logically used and the fun "Helpers" make things very interesting.
One warning: There are 2 endings. Depending on which object you have left (you have 2 at the end) is how the story ends. I didn't know that and just used the first one I grabbed. Now I'm going to have to play thing again to get to the second ending because if I had know I was making a choice - I would have chosen different the first time.
I recommend this game!
