First Jewel Match Game I've bought. The storyline is far more interesting than usual Match 3s. Graphics are superior. Like the idea of tending the garden. Addictive. Has made me want to purchase more in the series
This is an incredibly boring Match 3. Soooo monotonous. I always check out the reviews before downloading as I live in a rural area and even a small file game like this takes over an hour to download. This time I can't agree with the majority of reviewers.
Maybe the developers tried to include so much that they didn't perfect any of the strands but I found the game charmless and for me there were things there that had no place on a Match 3 board. Think they should have concentrated on making the Match 3 element more playable. Deleted it before the end of the trial period
After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to playing this game, however after playing the demo I was disappointed and decided not to buy.
I quite enjoy this genre and if this was among the first 3 or 4 games of its type I'd purchased I'd probably think this was a good game but this just wasn't interesting enough for me.
We have the usual locking and unlocking doors and back and forth between scenes. There was a fairly typical background story that failed to intrigue and the HO scenes, although beautifully drawn, were not particularly original. I'm sure true HO/adventure addicts will find something to enjoy but this one wasn't for me.
This is a little gem. Bought it and played it 4 times through trying to better my score. I love this kind of HOG which doesn't involve 'back and forth' but uses the same scenes but with randomly different objects.
It reminded me of an early version of Madam Fate's Carnival with its mixture of single and multiple hidden objects. Also, quite similar to Whisper Valley.
I found the silhouette outline helped me a lot without having to use a hint
I live in a rural area where the download speed is excruciatingly slow. I have to wait until I visit my son to download anything over 120mb so to find this quality at under 80mb was a real bonus. My only real complaint is that they haven't made a sequel
Love it - have replayed it loads of times and still find it totally addictive. The others in the World Riddle Series are fun to play but this is streets ahead of them and other Mosaic games.
The levels become progressively more difficult and some of gold levels are really challenging. I really liked being able to restore the objects to the different civilisations and the graphics are lovely.
The bonus chapters are a great addition.
I can't understand why the developers haven't made more games like this.
If you haven't tried nonograms before - try this game. I can't recommend it highly enough
I absolutely loved this game. Gets progressively more difficult but with just the right level of challenge, The power ups were great - lovely graphics and sound.
Decorating the house was fun and I liked the way the power ups were linked to the decorations.
Addictive game play with just one flaw - I couldn't find a high score table. I like to better my scores with games like this. Even so, I played it through twice
This game kept my attention all the way through. I chose to play as pure HOG without using the Match 3 to find objects, although I thought it was a nice touch to have the option.
The visual quality of the scenes was excellent and the tasks were challenging without being tedious or impossible.
I kept forgetting about the eyes and it would have been nice to have a more obvious reminder of achievements but all in all a good buy
What a shame! The objects are really difficult to see even with the magnifying glass and using a hint.
I love HOGs but the best ones are where the objects are hidden in plain sight, eg when you have to use the hint, you wonder how you ever missed the broccoli in the tree.
Other elements of the game are inventive and true to the Sherlock Holmes ethos and analysing the suspects and clues was quite fun.
However, as the hidden object scenes were spoilt for me I decided not to purchase
