I have over 300 games and I rank this one in the top 3! I loved everything about this game. It was like being part of a murder mystery movie. Due to physical limitations I could not play this game through in one sitting but would have if I could. Could not wait till I could open the game and continue the play. The story really draws you in. The voice overs and graphic's are amazing. You really find out about each character! There is even humor thrown it. The map is very helpful when needed. I enjoyed all the cut scenes, make sure you click on each person and hear ALL they have to say. They are all hints in the games. I loved the puzzles which were different than the old standards. The ho's are well done. Since there are already so many reviews I won't go into more detail. The story does end without the bonus chapter. BUT - I was so happy to have the bonus chapter because I just did not want this game to end. It also was well done and of a good length. I also enjoyed the comments of the builders of this game, as well as the other extra's. So I will conclude DO NOT MISS THIS GAME. I feel the collector edition was well worth the extra. I cannot wait for a new game from this developer! I am sure it will be of the same quality!

I tried to get into this game and gave it the full hour, but this game is NOT UP to today's game standards. It could have been good if more care was put in the game. As another reviewer stated I had to go full blast on my computer sound just to get some sound from the game. I played aprox 4 h/o and 4 puzzles. I did not have to user hint in the h/o but I had to use it to find where to go next. It was not where oh I found such and such I know where that goes. not sure how long the games goes, but I opened many rooms within the hour. I deleted the game and do not plan on buying, even if I were to use a coupon. It is a dark game, and the weak attempts to startle you with an appearing ghost are a joke. It seemed the farther I went in the game the faster the dialog you had to read, till finally it was unreadable it went so fast. There was a log book, there is no map.
I don't recommend this game.
The evil Alura is back, and this time she’s attacking your homeland!

Enjoyed the game! Like the fact it was fairy tale and not vampires, wolves or monsters lol. The game did keep me wanting to go on and see what happens next. Art was nice, liked the story line, music was nice.. Map was ok, wish it was interactive. No journal. Did not give a good explanation of some of the items you collected that made the hint button fill faster. You do not need the bonus chapter to finish the story line. Bonus features are ok, Bonus chapter has different story, but same concept as main game. I bought this on buy one get one that is why I bought the CE. IF the promo was not available I would recommend waiting for the SE.

I really enjoyed this game. It combined all my favorites, HOG, Adventure,Slingo! Once I started playing I could not stop till I finished. So much fun! Went and bought the sequel after I finished the first and just had a super time playing that one too! Can't wait for the 3rd one to be released. Has great replay value too! I have over 200 games and rank this series as one of my FAVORITES! I highly recommend this game.

I really enjoyed playing this HO game. The puzzles were different and easy to figure out. The story lines were interesting. Lots of different items to put together. The length was good. I have lots of HO games and this one ranks up there on one I would play again. All in all a nice change from the many doom and gloom games.
I recommend this game!
Poor Mel has every ailment in the book, and you`re the only one who can cure him. The doctor is in, with this madcap Match 3 game!

Great game. Humorous, fun to play, lots and lots and lots of levels. I play it everyday! This is the best match 3 game I own and that is saying a lot since I have many games. Try it you'll like it!

Loved the game. Some of the objects are really hidden but makes it a challenge to find them all on your own. Love the map which will take you directly to the page you want. No clicking back thru room after room. The story and graphics were great. Had a lot of fun with the game.
I recommend this game!
