What a refreshing change from the endless hidden objects, match 3s, and other RSI inducing clicking games. Back to the old days - when you had to take your time, listen and think, put a bit of effort into playing a game, not just rely on hand-holding hints and tedious clicking all over the screen. A breath of fresh air for me. Loving every minute of this game. Thanks bigfish!
So often sequels are disappointing, but not this one! I could not rate the first Leaves highly enough and was ready for the standard to fall for this one, but I am again searching for words to explain how much I enjoyed this game. My advice, as before, is to take your time. Don't be too quick to look at the hints. Search everywhere, cursor every corner of the screen, click everything. Progress will probably be slow to start with but you will soon work it out. Take notes, and if you feel you are stuck then just wander around and enjoy the scenery and the soundtrack for a while! A brilliant game.
I agree with other reviewers that: you will either love it or hate it - a real Marmite game. For me it was the best game for a very very long time. My advice would be to take your time. Click everything and cursor everywhere, make a few notes, think carefully, and just enjoy the beautiful graphics and great music. It may be frustrating to start with and your progress will probably be slow, but you will soon get the hang of it and when you work things out for yourself it is so much more satisfying than using the hints. There are no tricks to catch you out or trap you - everything you need is in front of you if you just take the time to work it out. A fantastic game - well done to everyone involved.
