I down loaded the demo and when it first came on the pointer did a repeat thing ( for lack of a better word. Then when the main screen came on it froze up. I waited hoping to play but the timing of the words were off. I knew then I could not play this game. I was so disappointed because I really wanted to play this game. I wish the developers would test their game fully before they send them off.
I don't recommend this game.
Set out with Bella in search of her brother through the pages of well-known novels and true stories.

Some have rated this "old school" type and that it is. But I have to admit the graphics in my opinion are good, not the best but good. I liked the game fairly well, but it does have it's drawbacks. One thing that really got on my nerves was when you had nothing else to do in an area, a screen pops up and tells you there is nothing here to do, then an arrow pointing to the map letting you know to go to the map. That is all find and dandy but when it does it over and over and over it gets very annoying. It is not a challening game but beyond that it was a good relaxing game. Good for a beginner. Try it yourself before you take my judgement, because what might annoy me may not bother you at all.
I recommend this game!

I liked what I could play and I only played the demo. The good part was it was quite challenging since there was no walkthrough. It is not your typical fantasy game. I do like something different once in a while and this decidedly different.
Trying to find many of the items to work with was hard and it took most of my time so therefore a lot of time was wasted just milling around looking for stuff. Sometimes the hint button was not very useful as it kept telling the same thing over. I really wanted to play a little more to get the real feel of the game but like I said most time was wasted hunting stuff. At this point I am not sure I want to buy the game without a walkthrough and no I don't use it a lot but it does come in handy when you are really stuck.I don't want to spend two hours looking for something.
But please do not be put off by what I have said about the game I really think it would be a great game and maybe if I got furtther into it I would have really like it. Many of you may be a lot quicker then I.
I did eventually got out of the ship and found some life force and the graphics were very good.
There is no lip sync it is written conversation but brief and to the point.
Try it and see if you like the game. It has very good possiblities.

This review is based on the demo. I really liked the game. It may not be for everyone, but was lots of fun if you like a lot of mini-games and hidden objects.
You land on a beach and your friend is gone with the storm in the hot air balloon. You find out he has been captured. There is a good story line so far.
Even though so far there is no walkthrough it is very easy, more for a beginner then an expert. If you are tired as I am of the gore and blood games this game is refreshing.
The graphics are very good and there are no voice overs. I don't want to give the good stuff away so I will stop for now, but I hope all will enjoy this game as much as I.
The quaint mountain town of Hochwald hides a deadly secret. Defeat a mechanical mastermind and save your friend before another earthquake strikes!

After I played the demo and read the reviews to see if anything was not to my liking in the rest of the game, I finally used a game credit because of the reports of the short game.
I was not disappointed in this game although I was a little surprised at the ending. I thought there would be more to it, but it was still good.

The game was fun and I loved the characters especially the professor.
Matthew was an added feature I also loved. It seems many of the games are now using a helpful creature to do our bidding.
As for the challenge the game was pretty easy, although a few of the puzzles where a little tricky but fun. Some were a little different than the norm.
I liked story line. The German accent gives the game a feel of reality.

I played the game completely through and finished the game. At first the graphics seemed a little grainy and if you don't have a good graphics card I think the colors would be a challenge for you.
For the challenge in the game, there are a few hidden object scenes and a few mini games. They were not much of a challenge for those who have played these games before, but for a new comer, they might be a little bit of a challenge.
The story line was okay but quite short for a game so I am glad I used a game credit instead of buying, other wise I would be a little disappointed. I like to know that I am getting a good "run for my money" as they old saying goes.
In my opinion this would be a good Saturday after noon game when there is nothing else to do and you just want to spend some time relaxing and doing not much of anything.
I recommend this game!

I am not sure what some of the other reviewers are looking for in a game, but as for me I think this take is absolutely awesome. The graphics are outstanding, the animal characters look so real. When the introduction came on I felt like I was riding in real life. When i showed this to my grandson (19yr) he told me many of his friends are testing their graphic cards on this game because it is so awesome.
I am not sure what some of the gamers are looking for in a game if they do not like this game, but I hope they find it in some of the other BFG.
If BFG allowed 100 stars I would rate it with the whole 100 stars I loved this game that much. It is a peaceful and very fun game. I love the story line.
Please, please BF more of these types of games. And Thank You for this one. I cannot say enough about it.

I know the title sounds strange, but after my opinion on the game you will know why I titled it as I did.
First off: I did try the demo and liked it and got hooked right at the start.
I found the graphics very good, a little on the dark side.
I liked the story line very much. At first it did not make much sense, but the further along you go the more things come together. Yep I do agree the devs need a little more coaching in game developing. When they do they will produce some awesome games.
There was an over much of back and forth. The sounds gave the game an eerie feel. In my opinion the map was useless unless you can jump to your destination on in. There was several areas I was totally stuck at, and the hint button did not help very much, and some of the objects in the HOS were way to small. So for those who cannot see very well this might be a draw back.
I know it sounds like I am giving a negative opinion on the game, but I really did like it. I know if the devs study other games with good ratings, they will also produce some awesome game.

I really loved the game. That speaks it all. It grabs you in the very beginning and don't let go till you are done.
The graphics were excellent, not over run with HOS but enough to satisfy the need for them, and the mini games were a little easy for me, but then devs need to do them for all kinds of people who play these games. Carl was a hoot. The ending was very sad, and very realistic. This wakes up the reality of life, this could really happen with all the strange diseases going on now days. Am I being morbid here? No. Just realistic.

I did the beta on this game some time back and really liked it. I to have not done a lot of card games on BFG but I do like solitaire games and I make up my own versions at night when I want to relax and get sleepy, and this one is right down my alley. The music is very nice, the voice over is a little rough, but I really think it suites this game as the men are all warriors in old times, so the voice fits the game nicely. I know some have done other solitaire games and maybe this is familiar to you but as for me I really liked it.
I recommend this game!
