I can't believe the low ratings from some of the other reviewers. I have always loved the Danse Macabre series. Clearly, it has been a work of love and creativity for the devs in creating it. This is the best one yet in my opinion and one of my favorite games of 2017.
The beauty and thought put into the game is great. This is definitely a game for music and history lovers.
Women gamers like myself can appreciate a game that doesn't rely on tropes like fights, runes, and icky sweet, so-called female romance fantasy games obviously written by male devs with no real experience with real women.
Keep doing what you are doing, devs. I am cheering you on.
Can you defeat dangerous creatures and find your grandfather in time?

I hated this game and forced myself to play some of it. As soon as I saw the monster and the runes, I wanted to exit from this boring game. The storyline, elements, monster and the HOP style have been done to death. Please hold a funeral for this gaming style so no other devs create another. Don't waste your time, if nothing new comes up in the first 15 minutes of a game. If I wanted to revisit an old game, I would do so without giving away any more of my hard-earned money.
I don't recommend this game.

This game held my interest throughout because the developers added countless new twists on gaming ideas. This made the genre fresh and unexpected. Definitely well thought out development. They upped the ante with other game manufacturers to the pleasure of us players.
I recommend this game!

I LIKED this game and found it charming and delightful. My only wish is that the puzzles were more challenging. I loved the humor and the graphics were great. Normally, I find HOPs boring so I usually do the Match 3 instead, but definitely enjoyed these HOPs for their uniqueness. I am a buyer for this one.

When I saw the other reviews, I thought the game would not be fun, however, I played the demo anyway. I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of this game, both graphically and musically. I love the puzzles and am enjoying every scene. The music is enchanting and peaceful, perfect to relax and appreciate how much creativity from the devs went into making a game that stands out from the rest. Many other games are noisy, copycat and irritating so I would turn down the sound and delete the demo after five minutes, but not this one. A delightful experience full of grace and cleverness. We need more solace in the world, especially now. Too often, we have settled for a world of crassness, stupidity and silliness in games as well as real life. Here, we can see that there are still places of tranquility left to cherish. Thank you, creators.This is a definite buy.

I love it and wait until the 5 stars accumulate to continue playing free.
Expect the unexpected as this unusual plot twists and turns its way through the seemingly sleepy lakeside location.

This has to be the most awkwardly designed game I have seen on this site. The dialogue seems to have been designed by someone unfamiliar with the conventions of gaming and normal speech. Did a second grader write the descriptions? It is especially annoying to hear the narrator repeat labels and descriptions verbatim on everything you click,.i.e., "a beautiful building" on an ordinary structure. The worst indictment of this game is that it is not fun.

This part of the Cadenza series is at least as much fun as the rest of the series. I was smiling all through the demo. This is a must buy for me. I would prefer the puzzles to be more challenging, however, they are fresh and exciting. Definitely worth your time and money.
