Wow. I was so happy when I got on to BFG today and saw this game. I have been waiting for it to be released and I was not disappointed.
Enigmatis: the Mists of Ravenwood is the sequel to Enigmatis: the Ghosts of Maple Creek. As you recall, you are a detective who went to investigate strange things happening in a small town. There you encountered a demonic preacher who was controlling the residents of this small town. He managed to escape but you never give up searching.
Several months pass and you get a lead on people disappearing. On the way, you find an abandoned RV. As you investigate further, you notice strange claw marks on the vehicle. You also find all their belongings thrown all over the place. You find that it leads you to a park called Ravenwood. Once inside, you find a beautiful place with very kind people. But things are not as it seems.
This game has something for everyone. It has achievements. It has collectables. It has great graphics, fun puzzles, and nice HO. It also has the creepiness factor which I love.
In my opinion, this game is well worth the CE and having a sale on it as well, was a definite purchase for me. Now, I need to go back to Ravenwood and use my detective skills.
I have been following this game on the developers website and was beyond thrilled when I saw it on BFG today. These are the same devs that gave you Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen and Amaranthyine Voyage so you know you're going to get a top notch game. You are called to the scene to find out why everyone is leaving Lindon Orphanage. There are reports of a mysterious figure in red haunting the building. The location is spooky. The HO scenes are fun. The games are far from boring. The acting is great-not forced and fake. There are collectables to find and more than one. They have thought of everyone in this game. And to be able to purchase on a sale? Bonus! This game is well worth it. Now I must get back to my investigation. Happy Hauntings everyone!
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…

ERS is back with another installment of the Edgar Allan Poe games and packs quite a punch! You are called to help Detective Dupin on a case where city officials are being murdered by a mysterious man wearing a red mask. What makes this game different from the previous ones is the fact that you weigh the evidence and decide who is the guilty one-the mayor and his unfair treatment of the citizens of this small French town, or the mysterious man in the red mask who is murdering city officials. Along the way you will meet people who will give you information that will help you decide. The Ho scenes are well done and interactive and the mini games very in degree of difficulty. You can earn awards for different things and find toys for the adorable kitten that you pick up. This game was well done and had a great twist on the previous ones. I highly recommend it!

Blue Tea Games have done it again. The developers that have given you the Dark Parables games now rises from the ashes to give you the Phoenix Queen. You travel to the land of Enchantia to try to stop her and help the inhabitants. You meet great, colorful characters and find out about the Queen herself and discover secrets about your own background. The HO scenes are beautiful, the mini games are fun, and the graphics are breath taking. This is one hot game to have released on Valentine's Day!

I don't know if I should laugh or cry. I'm laughing because I'm still shocked that I finished this game in 30 minutes. I want to cry because I can't get those 30 minutes back. This game is all HO with a few simple games thrown in. You can't explore, you have no enemies to fight, and somehow these "objects" give you energy to call one mode of transportation or another. No VO, no fun cute charecters, nothing! At the end of the game these dwarfs, etc. thank you for your help. I really think that they're thanking me for finishing. Don't waste your time.

ERS has put out another great game. As with previous Dark Tales: Edgar Allan Poe, Dupin as called for your skills as an inspector to help his friend who is obsessed with finding the treasure of Capt. Kidd. But, as to be expected, there are dangers along the way in the form of a masked man and a woman who always wears a veil. There is a mix of HO and placing items where they belong. The mini games were fun-not too challenging. The graphics were clean. The VO were well done. Even the bugs were nice to look at. And of course your new helper, a Newfoundland, is adorable. This is a great game and one well worth playing. So go a little "buggy" and give it a try.

When you play a game from Elephant Games you know that the chances are pretty good that it's going to be a good one. The Stone Queen is a great example. It involves members from the family in the previous games which I like since you have a sence of familarity. I loved the graphics. They have all these cute charecters in the Stone City. The people who have been turned to stone have eyes that follow you. As mentioned in a previous review-there is a creepy decapatated monkey with scary spring eyes so I had to deal with that ASAP. All in all it is a good game. It has challenges which I like. I think this game is well worth a try.

Ok, Cinderella is my favorite fairy tale, but that's not the only reason why I liked this game. When I read the first reviews on this game, I was sure I was going to hate it. I was expecting horrible graphics and awful HO scenes and mini games. So I installed the free trial and WOW-I LOVED IT! It was not a childs game, the graphics were stunning, and the HO scenes were different-find where the items belong. This game is great. A hidden gem. Give it a try-you won't be disappointed.

Yes, we have seen Beauty and the Beast done before, but there are so many different ways to tell a story and this is one. You are send to help Bella who stayed with the Beast to save her father. You must find out if he truly is a monster or if he is a kind, misunderstood creature. It is created by Big Top Games, a new developer whose founder created such games as 7 Wonders, Midnight Mysteries, and the Luxor Adventures. The graphics were beautiful and I thought the mini games were fun. This is well worth trying.

There are so many things that could've gone wrong with this game but the have achieved greatness. A famous story and ballet has come to a game. The story is just as you remember as a child. The brave nutcracker fighting the evil rat king for his lady. They have added some friends to help along the way, a kitten, candle, and a dog helps you too. The graphics are superb. The games are fun. The HO games are well done-not too cluttered. It was a nice change of pace to ghosts and monsters. I loved it! Well worth the price. Don't miss out on this one.
