A truly fantastic game and another great installment in the 'Dark Parables' saga.
The basic storyline (no spoilers I promise) is that you are the detective sent to investigate 'Mist Wolves' that have infested the woods. You will be assisted by the Red Riding Hood Sisters. However, the sisters have been kidnapped by the Wolf Queen (the big bad for this game) and you have to save them. Yes, it is the rescue storyline of most of these games but honestly it doesn't feel rehashed and dull.
As the game opens you are treated to another wonderfully animated movie setting the premise for the game. The voice acting is brilliant and this continues into the game itself through conversations with characters which are ALL voice acted.
You will not be disappointed with the quality of the in game animation either. The scenes are very detailed and I haven't suffered any problem with finding the fragmented object parts.
YES that's right. They have bought back the fragmented object scenes that they lost in the Pied Piper game. This is a refreshing change from the (almost saturated) medium of HO games.
The puzzles in the game are not too challenging once you work out what you are actually supposed to do. There is a simple explanation at the base of the screen. For example 'Move the wolves so the Red Riding Hood Sisters can shoot them'.
Another thing I have noticed is that the music in the background is so subtle I have just had to check that it was actually in the game! A lot of my complaints about a game usually include the whiny music but no such problem here.
Another nice point is that the games interlink again. For those of you who have played the 'Dark Parables' games will know that the Frog Princes carriage was found frozen in the Snow Queen game. In this game a statue of the Snow Queen's son is found (but I won't spoil the reason for him being there).
The only complaint I have is that there is no journal or notebook. However, they have bought the unlockable parables back so that you can find a bit more backstory.
Overall, a fantastic game but one that I honestly can't do justice. Play it yourself and see what you think :)
I recommend this game!

After playing the demo, I purchased straight away. The visual quality is very good and the music is a perfect level. Not too loud or whiny and annoying like in some HO games. The storyline is engaging and shows a lot of promise, although it is very samey. For example, twin sister goes missing and you have to find/save them from forces unknown. I can name at least 3 other games (grim tales, haunted manor, gravely silent) with the same storyline but still, it seems interesting enough with the added excitement of vampires. Evil vampires, but vampires none the less.
The level of skill is just right as you are challenged but not bought to your wits end. The hidden object scenes are not too dark that you can't see the objects but still keep the atmosphere of the game. I especially enjoyed the 'coins' aspect of the game. So if you do well and find the objects quickly you get more coins which can be spent on unlocking extra content (sketches) in the game. You can also go straight back into the HO from the diary and replay.
The puzzles are relatively easy but then again I have only played 3/4 of them.
There is voice acting in the game, which is a big plus for me. However, there is sometimes a variation in the audio and the visual subtitles beneath it. Not terrible but still noticable.
So overall this game is interesting and engaging and as it has just finished downloading I'm going back to it. Hope you like it too.
I recommend this game!

Nice hidden object game which is different from Blue Tea's usual fragment finding, which I was dissapointed to find as Blue Tea had really bucked the HOS trend.
However, this is still a good game with an interesting, but at times confusing, storyline.
The graphics are beautiful and capture the dark theme of the game without making objects difficult to see. I especially liked the rats which you could interact with and make scurry away.
The mini games were challenging and interesting, but not up to their usual standard for Blue Tea and some of them were very repetitive.
Overall, I think the game is interesting and a stand alone good title. However, if you have ever played previous Blue Tea games, 'Rise of the Snow Queen' or 'Exiled Prince' you will be dissapointed as it isn't up to the usual standard.
I recommend this game!
