I usually rush on a new issue of these adventures, for I have bought each and every one of them so far...
This time though, I am not at all enthusiastic.
This game is far from excellence this dev has used us to. The main story smells like same ol', same ol', at certain times music is absolutely annoying, so far so that I had to turn off the sound, before blowing a fuse.
Otherwise there are some quite tricky mini-games that made me work hard for some time.
Storyline is boringly déjà vu, nothing is innovative, but who would complain, when it has become usual to create new games with old storylines, and if the scenes are a bit different, pretty much all games ressemble each other...
And all of this would be pretty much acceptable if it wasn't for the bonus chapter, which isn't a chapter but a short series of hops, with no storyline at all where we end up recreating the magic cube to free the hero's dad who, I am sure, everybody had forgotten about a long time ago ! And that's it !
Next time I will first test the game before I buy it.

Since a long time I consider these devs as being quite lazy about creating new standards in their games. But if this one pretty much ok, I still have to fuss about two things:
1) absence of alt2HOPs, which I really love because it's a nice way to sometimes vary the pleasures, and
2) they can't help it but multiply the HOPs the more the game comes to its end and I definitely HATE it !
I really look forward for them to understand that they could please their gamers by making an effort to innovate ! Other do !

At first, I thought this would be an entertaining game, but in course of action - oh, where's the action ? - I got so bored that I barely found the patience to finish it.
This dev has a weird habit to develop games that have already been created a long time ago, as far as the technicality is concerned.
HOPs are easy, I didn't try to hard option to be honest, but it didn't come to my mind to waste more time with that.
Story is poor, but could be quite interesting of not so slow.
Nothing in this game is challenging or captivating. It's just another game like so many others that don't deserve to waste one's time.
I don't know what to say in particular for this game is generally lacking interest. One is lead to one scene to the next, and the next, and the next. Not once there is something that made my heart beat a bit faster... Oh, sorry, I found butter hidden behind a rock in a wall of the castle !
Since it is not the first of this dev's games I buy and being disappointed each time, I can say I will never buy another one from them...
But this is just me... Try it and make your own opinion before buying it.

At first, the game is appealing, quite nice to play but not overwhelming. Then you realise that you're stuck in each scene until you have solved every task that is given to you, there's almost no going back and forth between scenes, which is unusual.

Based on the demo.
I found the colours nice and soft, I just couldn't make my opinion about the rest of the game, but generally game appears slow, graphics are way too crowded and my eyes just can't see right through all this jumble of colours...
Not a buy for me.

Honestly, this dev can do whatever new game they want..., doesn't catch me anymore than the many previous ones.
One gets too many objects to deal with at a time and I don't like it.
Game is slow with too many dialogs and pop-ups.
It totally lacks energy.
Music is dull, no effort was made in this instance.
Decoy is cheap and "flat".
Like already said by another gamer, nothing worth playing it, thus buying it.
It's regrettable when one thinks of their first games, it just was a whole other story. Sorry guys...

Based on the demo, I give it 3 1/2stars.
I agree with my fellow gamers that, for a change, the context is interesting because quite unusual. It isn't enough though to make it breathtaking...
Unfortunately the devs didn't care to change the music, which is the very same in almost - if not each - game of theirs. They could have done better.
For the alt2hops lovers that I am, no such feature there. On the other hand, the hops are so easy that one doesn't really need them.
I spotted only staffs to collect, no morphs or other objects to collect. Three chapters plus bonus. Seems a bit short to me.
Otherwise, the game is pleasant, really easy as far as I could test so far, but I must say it became quite quickly palling.
It certainly deserves to be tried and maybe played all the way through with a good surprise along the game. But I'm not into buying it...

I, like many other players, have all the previous games of this series and really enjoyed them all, except for the two last ones...
But this one in particular has nothing that makes me even want to finish the demo. I don't enjoy jumping from one mini-game to find one token to the next one to find the next token, all this to finally activate the thingy that will allow me to open the door of the temple where I am supposed to enter to do what ? I quit before that, I just had enough of waltzing around.
This game has no dynamic whatsoever, just nice graphics...
My opinion is that there is no need to issue ten games a year if only a couple are really catching. This is a waste of time and energy for everybody concerned.
Mad Head devs used to be my favourite team for quite a long time but there are other kids on the block who know how to be creative and I'll go with them for a while..

I must underline the efforts made by the devs to create something new. Unfortunately they failed.
If the visual quality is outstanding, the devs missed on catching the players attention in making it intricate, unclear, and as I said for the other game of the same series, cold, with no real storyline, lots of HOPs and mini-games which take so much time to solve that you just cannot keep your full attention for that long.
It should flow, it doesn't, and my legendary lack of patience calls for games that are just fluid, logical, fun, well, relaxing. These ones are unnerving. Not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

I downloaded the demo, started it, left it, played again, left again: shortly said, I just can't get used to it.
Cold, complicated, relentlessly running back and forth, no infos on actions (mini-games or not ?), fastidious HOPs with no Alt2HOPs (hey guys, no more fun with bubble shooter anymore ?).
Well, if the new trend is to make it hard to follow so people think it's a long game, sorry, not my cup of tea...
I made it for 20 min. of the demo and called it a day.
