I enjoyed this game, the last chapter seemed a little rushed, making the game a little short, but still fun to play.
The game is fairly linear, so there isn't a lot of brain work involved in figuring out what to do next. The game is a straightforward interactive hidden object game, well drawn, with nice music, a pleasant way to while away a few hours.
The theme of the story is a bit overworked, time travel/missing father etc, but the graphics & music are quite nice. The game is a combination of hidden object scenes as well as finding items to interact with other items in the game. The puzzles in the mini-games are simple & not too taxing. The hint system however, is novel, & is recharged by playing a match 3 game if you run out of hints.
Overall, I would class this game as easy, light entertainment, something to do when you don't want to stress the brain cells too much.
This game is enjoyable, IF you ignore its obvious faults - the fact a fertility god (Cernunnos) is being portrayed as a demon, & the fact that it is more modern day sci-fi, than Celtic folklore ;-)
In saying that, the game is visually engaging, with lovely detailed graphics, music, & sound effects. The puzzles range from some old familiar types, to some refreshingly new challenges. The story is quite predictable really, BUT the journey through the story is a lot of fun, if you ignore the game faults, or don't have any knowledge of Celtic folklore.
While I enjoyed this game, I think I enjoyed Curse of Briar Rose more. in this game it sometimes felt something was lacking.
The graphics & music were very pleasant. Like the first, the hidden object scenes are of the fragmented variety, although the pieces you were looking for didn't always seem to match the pictures. My main complaint, was the back tracking is a lot worse in this sequel than it was in the first.
Beautiful graphics, nice music, & appropriate ambient sound. The hidden object scenes involved finding fragments of items that became inventory items, which did require lots of moving back & forth between scenes at times. This back tracking was the only real thing I didn't enjoy.
The puzzles were a little bit on the easy side but I didn't mind that. A very enjoyable game.
I liked the game, it was a pleasant distraction, but sometimes felt a little bland, like something was missing.
The graphics were beautiful, & the music quite pleasant. I also, liked the twist on the hidden object scene of placing objects, rather than finding them. Things don't always go where you might assume, so quite fun at times.
What an enjoyable game, & Robin's character was a nice twist.
The graphics are nicely done, crisp & bright. One of the best features was the area cleared signs, extremely helpful, wish more games had this. There are quite a variety of mini-puzzles, which were for the most part quite interesting, but sometimes a little easy.
As this is an adventure type hidden object, I was in my element, & really enjoyed the relaxing few hours that this game gave me.
I enjoyed playing this game, although sometimes I found it to be fairly simple.
The hidden object scenes are variation on the norm with a twist, you have to match the picture in your inventory with an item in the scene - the items aren't an exact match, but a relationship match, like putting flowers in a vase. My only dislike of these scenes is when you revisit them the 'fixed' items are re-broken.
The game also has great graphics & fairly interesting mini-puzzles for the most part. Not bad for an older game.
This is the type of hidden object game, were you have to find parts of objects then combine those parts together to get a new object, so a little more entertaining than the run of the mill hidden object scene. It also has a number of morphing objects to find. The puzzles are also entertaining, & not too hard. The graphics are beautiful, & come across as crisp, clear on my monitor. The story is also engaging, with few twists & turns.
A thoroughly entertaining game.
I recommend this game!

Mystery of Mortlake Mansion
Explore the dark halls of Mortlake Mansion and discover its secrets! Break the evil spells and become the owner of the mansion!
This was the first hidden object game I played, & I thoroughly enjoyed it, got me hooked on the genre LOL.
It has a nice combination of hidden object, puzzles & adventure components. The map is a real asset, & limits the back-tracking & repetitious movement between scenes as you can just jump to a particular area. The graphics are hand drawn & while some people seem to have problems with type of graphic, I enjoyed them, & found them to be generally crisp & clear. The only negative, was some of the acting in the voice overs was a bit 'average', but for me, in no way detracted from the game.
