Time Management games are my favorites; I've been playing them since Diner Dash first came out, and this one is fun. It's Not for beginners who've never played Time Management before. The interaction with objects is unusual, but once you figure out that you just need to click on the appliance or spice rack and then the appropriate balloon for the dish or spice you want, it's fine. In order to serve the dish, you Must click on the balloon over the customer's head. Clicking on the table or the customer won't do it. The ordering and serving interaction reminds me a bit of Lovely Kitchen, which is also a nice game. As to the restaurants, it's a bit more like Bistro Boulevard, in that you pay money to repair the restaurants and try to rack up full stars for all of them. You can replay any restaurant at any time to get full stars if you haven't already and get more money. One funny thing is that you have to get rid of gangsters/biker types by adding chili peppers to anything they order, including juice, coffee, or desserts, not just main dishes. There were comments made that presenting bikers as undesirable is stereotypical characterization; well, Time Management games are full of that. I don't think anybody who seriously plays Time Management thinks the characterizations are true at all; they're just there because it's a casual game and the characters' various needs within the game are something you need to deal with. There are good mini-games where you can earn more money and prepare special dishes that sell for more money. I thought the music was fine, the graphics were great, and I've played the game through to the end and really enjoyed it.
This is a building game similar to Wandering Willows. If you liked Wandering Willows, you will love this game. You are given quest after quest and given rewards for completing them. There is no timer, and your goal is to develop a thriving community of dead people, which is a funny objective. The characters and artwork and music are absolutely charming. I just loved this game!
Mankind lives in terror as creatures of the darkness plague the continent. Travel this dangerous world, making unlikely allies and facing invincible foes in this exciting Role Playing Game.

This review is based on 3 hours of gameplay. This is an outstandingly well-designed RPG with witty dialogue and very appealing graphics. The story is well thought-out and the side quests are interesting and well worth playing as you pick up some weapons and armor you would not get otherwise. There are a lot of references in the names of the characters to vampire lore and the novel Dracula which will make anyone who is interested in vampires smile. I agree with the previous reviewer that the initial level of battle challenge was easy, but it gets harder as you go along. A very, very fun game!

I have been playing RPGs for nearly 30 years, am a beta tester (~Not~ for the developer of this game), and Skyborn is just an outstanding RPG. The story and characters are completely enthralling. The visuals and sound are on par with any good SNES game, the navigation and menus are great--You have the ability to change difficulty of battles at any time during the game if you find the battles too easy or too difficult--and the tutorials about how certain features in the game work are terrific. If you are new to RPGs and find them intriguing, this is the one to play as the tutorials will explain a lot of things that are known to hard-core RPG people but may not be readily apparent to somebody who is playing a Role Playing Game for the first time. Again, the characters and story are marvelous, and the quests are clearly identified and very logical when you attempt to pursue them. I cannot say enough nice things about Skyborn. A Really, Really Fun Game!!!
