This series of games has been fun but I find that each one leaves me dissatisfied at the end and this game was the same. I purchased the collectors edition and though that the bonus was lame. Don't spend your money.
The music was probably one of the best parts. It is interesting, varied and a good background. The characters and animation were obviously eastern European and relatively low tech. The scenery was pretty good.
I didn't have any trouble with the HO scenes and most of the puzzles were really fairly easy.
It is worth the play but wait until there is a special on it.
I recommend this game!

This game has much to recommend it and just about as much that is disappointing.
I enjoyed the puzzles. They are challenging, varied and plentiful. The HO scenes are also challenging and different than most. The music was unobtrusive and soothing.
Now we come to my real complaints. This game was one that I thought a kid could play without being freaked out by werewolves or ghosts, etc. Wrong. The comic book style graphics and choppy action weren't all that great (or to my taste, I should sayk) and the story gets "mushy" way too fast. Also, be prepared for a continuance because the game just leaves you hanging.
The last disappointment was the extra levels that you could open up if you gathered enough PSI points. Not worth it!
All this said, I'd still recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I just spent an entire day on this game and loved it. It starts with a dream and ends up in an old creepy house with you having to save the house from it's curse. Pretty good story line and and interesting twist to Merlin.
The graphics are great for the most part but someone needs to go back to art school (or look at different women) and figure out how to draw boobs in perspective. I was laughing so hard at the two old women.
The HO scenes are a bit of an object dump in very muted colors so sometimes objects are hard to find BUT you have the hint button (which recharges quickly) and the option of playing a match 3 game to "find" objects. You can find as many as you want and then play the game or skip the HO all together by playing the match 3. Warning: they get harder and harder!
The music was LOUD. So loud that it drowned out the dialogue in a couple of spots. It was also a bit repetetively dramatic.
Once you get the time travel device (which was a clever idea) things hop around a lot but it helps you by showing you where things can be discovered. There is a journal to note important ideas and an objective list.
I was ambivalent about the ending. Yes, I want more but...........
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game quite a lot. The plot line is pretty solid - you have to help a werewolf! The graphics are good and the non talking animation is good. The quality sinks when people talk. The HO scenes are challenging (muted colors) but very doable and the games are the same. The music got to me and had to be turned down.
You have a notebook to help record important information/events. On the "regular" play mode the hint button recharges quickly.
All in all an enjoyable few hours.

You get stuck in a creepy cemetery and in order to get out you must rescue several children. Decent story line, except ending - what happens to the children once you've rescued them?
I liked the graphics, the animation was not sophisticated, the voices weren't in character and the music with the continuous loop of haunting voices got to be boring or annoying.
The puzzles were good but not particularly hard and there was a good variety of them. The HO scenes were also good and if you concentrated, you could find everything.
There is a notebook which keeps track of some relevant information. The hint button is useful and refills fairly quickly.
Enjoy!
I recommend this game!

I liked this game. The story line was good and though it took place in a cemetery, you travel to different locations to help ghosts move on - shades of Ghost Whisperer. There are two levels of play - regular and expert. The graphics are rather good, the music was nothing obnoxious which I count as good because it doesn't distract you as you are playing. It was a bit "loopy" during the HO scenes.
The HO scenes were also good. You could find everything in a reasonable amount of time. Objects weren't distorted in size or color. I thought the puzzles were easy and there were a reasonable amount of them.
There is a journal but it's help was minimal because it was mostly for noting clues in. On the regular level, the hint button refills quickly and is helpful when you get stuck as to what to do next.
I bought the collectors edition. It opened up another "chapter" which leaves me wondering how the regular game covered this challenge.
I recommend this game!

This was my first Treasure Seekers game and i enjoyed it. The story line is interesting, and the hero can bounce back and forth in time to solve problems in now or earlier. The graphics are good and the music is good. There are two levels of play. There are just about the right amount of HOS scenes and mini-HOS items. The items are well hidden but can be found. There were a few puzzles that were pretty easy.
You don't have a journal but you do have a "to do" list which helps direct your course of action.
I was a bit put off by the last area. It showed that the developers didn't do their research about Meso America. When a scene contains, Aztec, Olmec, Toltec, Haida, Tligit artifacts, as well as a chac mol from Tula and plummed serpents from Teotihuacan at the same Mayan site - you know something is shoddy.
I recommend this game!

I'd played the other two games in this series first but really liked this one. It is timed, and you have to solve a series of puzzles to work your way through the story. The story is interesting - you rescue someone who got caught in a magic book.
The graphics are fairly well done. Each "book" has a mixture of puzzles (connect the pipes, pin ball, simple math problems, etc.) and story problems and is timed. You enter an area and must find all the items and then figure out how to use them to open the box and get the scroll. You get a couple of "free passes" whereby you can skip a puzzle or game. Don't freak out over the Robot puzzle. Just plan ahead (but not to far ahead) and you can do it.
The music is good - not obnoxious and won't distract you from solving the puzzles.
I did think that the information about solving the puzzles was a little scant at times and yet at other times it was right on.
No violence, not particularly dark, and the puzzles were of average difficulty. All in all it is a good game!
I recommend this game!

This game is basically fun. The scenery is well drawn and quite pretty. The story line is a "sweet" as it solves the mystery in a young woman's past. The HO scenes are good - challenging but not impossible. The scale of objects you are looking for is not realistic in proportion to what they are sometimes. The puzzles are varied, fun and not impossible but make you stop and think. Occasionally I felt stumped about what to do next but muddled my way onward. The music was pleasant and not annoying. There is no journal or map and there is a bit of to and froing. It isn't particularly scary so would be suited for playing with a child. All in all a very satisfactory few hours can be wiled away with this game.
I recommend this game!

This HO game has nice graphics, an enjoyable though uncomplicated story line and reasonable music. The puzzles were not particularly challenging (I thought) but fun. The list of what needs to be done keeps you going if you get stumped. Suitable for all ages and sexes.
