Fit Club is a challenging time management, tycoon style game! As you build your fitness club you have to deal with guests and develop your sports teams.
Having played the demo, I decided to buy this game, especially as TM games are now few and few between. I think this game has the potential to be just as good as any other fitness-themed gamed, but only after the game developers have gone back to the drawing board and fixed a few obvious flaws. Until then, I certainly wouldn't advise anyone to buy the game.
During the early stages of the game, one has a gym with a couple of pieces of gym equipment and an 'A' safety rating. As I progressed through the game, and was able to unlock a 2nd and 3rd floor, I discovered it was impossible to increase the quantity of gym equipment without this having a detrimental effect on the safety rating. The result of this being that gym equipment frequently breaks down, and no obvious way of being able to fix it.
Once certain requirements are met, various things can be upgraded, including the gym's reception area. The impression I got was that upgrading the reception area would result in additional staff, possibly resulting in fewer breakdowns and a high safety rating. Not so.
If all the issues were to be dealt with by the game developers, then I really do think the game could be quite enjoyable.
