I have most of the other WM games and love them. However, I'm giving this one only 3 stars because of the design of the graphics. The game play is the same as other WM games, and the overall graphics are beautiful. However, I agree with other reviewers.....the playing board and background blend together, and it's easy to misread which squares are open and which are not. Even though I'm experienced with this series of games, the bad graphics caused me to misjudge and make errors several times during the trial when I normally would not do so. It was annoying enough that I will not purchase (or recommend) the game. If this problem is something you can ignore, you might feel differently. I suggest playing the trial and deciding for yourself.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a magical little TM game with delightful characters that made me laugh. It's a simple game in theory -- the magic shop owner takes orders for wands, hats, potions that you have to create, and you must fill orders given by vampires, witches, a two-headed monster and the like. However, the game play is deceptively simple and it becomes increasingly difficult with each level. Also, each character has his own time limit for waiting for his items, which adds more difficulty. I must admit that I bought this game partly because I was charmed by the characters and graphics, but I was not disappointed with the game play after I purchased it. It actually became harder to complete the higher levels than I expected. My only criticism is that there is one brief ad that comes up after you finish a level -- part of the game. If I'm paying for a game, I don't expect it to contain advertising. So, for that reason only, I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. I would urge you to try the free trial just to enjoy the creative, delightful, spooky little characters that were designed for this game. It's worth the purchase price if you want a straightforward, not too complicated, fun TM game.
With great new graphics, unlockable videos and even more exciting challenges, you’ll love every minute of this amazing adventure through architectural history!
I love TM games, and this might be OK for small children or the uninitiated. A little light on instructions....the info about Notre Dame was the best part.....graphics are cute....music isn't totally annoying. However, the game itself is SLOW, SLOW, SLOW.......the same thing over and over.......VERY BORING! I played the entire trial period and found nothing surprising. If you've never played a TM game, you might enjoy it for awhile, but you'll get over it. (Try Road to Rome series, Island Tribe or Kingdom Chronicles). I wouldn't recommend buying this one.
I don't recommend this game.

I'm not easily bored, but this game is a big yawn. No instructions, goals are unclear, fairly easy HO's, and the same scenes endlessly. No access to settings (i.e. volume or music options). I'm not that sensitive, but the flight attendant's appearance is pretty insulting and offensive. First time I've opted out of trying a game after 10 minutes. Don't waste your time -- or spend your money on the hundreds of requests built into the game. I agree that I'd rather pay for a good game up front than be hassled to constantly pay out cash during the game. Unfortunately, this game is a real loser.
I purchased this game, and even though I've completed all the levels several times, I keep going back to play it again and again. It's always a little different, challenging, entertaining, and just plain fun. Well worth the purchase price because you can enjoy playing it more than once. Nice graphics, too. Try it -- you'll like it!
I didn't have huge expectations for this game, but it was more boring than I thought it could be (even for a quilter, which I'm not). Seeing how the fabrics translated into quilt designs was somewhat interesting, but there was no way to tell the size of the pieces before trying to place them, which was annoying. The fabric patterns and colors were very limited and rather ugly. The grandma character was one dimensional and had no variety in her actions or dialog. A no brainer kind of game with almost no redeeming value. If you're feeling brain dead, this game is for you.
This game is deceptively challenging, especially at the higher levels.....but it won't drive you crazy. If you're just looking for something fun to play without tearing your hair out, give it a try. Nice graphics and tools, with a fair number of hints if you need them. Even at the lower levels, it's addicting!!! Highly recommended.
