I love the Jewel Match Solitaire series, and this latest edition delivers just alike.
So what we get for the collector edition price?
You have your regular 1 up or down quest levels, 200 of them. As you advance, you unlock beautiful locations and build your castles for the gems you collect from the levels. You also collect stars - for those you can unlock the additional games. Also, you collect coins and for those you can buy your power ups. The additional games you unlock: Supersize levels - 60 of them Match 2 levels - 60 Challenge levels - 60 Mahjong levels - 60 Sliding levels -60 The Sliding levels are new additions: you don't get the whole layout at once - you need to scroll the screen by removing the far left cards first to reveal the whole set. Then, there are 6 classic solitaire games added - all of them replayable. And there are 12 additional solitaire variants, and the fun doesn't stop there.
After finishing the 200 quest levels, the extra content opens up! Additional 200 quest levels, 60 extra supersize, match 2, challenge, mahjong and sliding levels, and 6 additional solitaire variants.
That's a total of 400 quest levels, 120 supersize levels, 120 mahjong layouts, 120 levels challenge levels, 120 sliding levels, 6 classic solitaire games, and 18 solitaire variants! For a price of 1 Jewel Match Solitaire! In the classic solitaire package you get Klondike, FreeCell, Spider, Yukon, Baker's dozen, Pyramid.
The variants are: Free Klondike Double, Daisy Garden, FreeCell X, Carlton, 32-Thieves, Fanny, Castle of Indolence, Deuces, Sir Alan, Wish, Westcliff, Thirty-Six.
The extra variants are: Fuego Fatuo, Therese, A Plan, Castles in France, Double Streets, Parallel.
I don't even know just how many different games are packed in this edition.

... but I couldn't. There are so many little aggravating things in this game to ruin enjoyment.
There are 2 modes, normal and easy. In normal mode it is extremely difficult to earn a star, let alone 3, and I'm by no means a beginner TM player.
The resources from the buildings are dropped all over the place: sometimes they are dropped on the ground, sometimes on the roof of the building, sometimes they are hidden behind the upgrade sign, sometimes they are placed behind the task window (you can only pick them up, if you KNOW that they are there). It does look like an annoying glitch, but if it is intentional, it was a bad idea.
There is a timer over the workers when they perform a task showing how many seconds the task takes them to perform - maybe it seems like a good idea, but it only annoyed me further.
The first upgrades of the buildings cost unreasonably high amount of resources for little gain. Also, some of the upgrade just doesn't make sense, like the upgrade of the farm takes 10 food to get 4 food instead of 2...But first you need to gather that 10 food and spend it back right away for the upgrade, then you are short with food again for the other tasks that require food.
The icons of the resources in the bar on the top of the screen doesn't match with the ones in the game. The food dropped by a farm looks like mixed items of a grocery bag, but in the bar on the top it looks like a loaf of bread. The iron in the game looks like gold nuggets, on the top it is depicted by an iron bar. I had "fun" matching up what is what.
I liked the previous Royal Roads games, this one I just couldn't fall in love with.

I don't usually write reviews, but this game is just so top notch, I have to put my admiration into words, and congratulate for the developers. Great Job! The game play is right in the neighborhood with Campgrounds, Royal Envoy and Fable of Dwarfs. If you like these games, you'll love this one. Besides the regular building-upgrading-meet your goals line of play, this game will make you think fast on the spot in order to get those 3 stars! The in-game tutorials are the bare minimum, show you how to finish the level, but not how to strategize for the 3 stars, that is entirely up to you to figure it out. Here is a curious feature of the game, though, if you are hopelessly stuck on a level, it lets you to SKIP! the level, and advance to the next one, revisit the skipped ones when you have a better grasp about how to strategize. Overall, you will have a loads of fun, your grey braincells will have a thorough exercise playing this game. AND! When you are done with the game with all 3 stars shining everywhere, you can start to replay the levels to beat the listed developer's record! This game well worth your money, don't pass it by.
