I was hoping for something different with this game since I love medieval scenes and building but after three levels was half asleep. Graphics were blah, dialogue rather moronic, little village kid unnecessary and the gems just melted into the framework making it difficult to make them out, not to mention pretty much the same music as the previous no-so-Enthralling games. As you progress you have to accumulate more and more cash to purchase anything and after awhile was so bored I was paralyzed which isn't the purpose of games. Won't be buying anymore of these!
I love Jewel Match games and like this one with pro's and con's:
PRO'S: Love anything with winter scenes and this one doesn't disappoint and definitely like the card design. The game play is like their other solitaire games, accumulate emeralds to build a scene and coins to buy power ups. It's a very to me simple solitaire game which is nice when you're tired of mind bender games and just want something to relax.
CON'S: Seems this game is harder. Never had to constantly re-deal on the other JM solitaires even with buying extra cards for the deck, you have to accumulate quite a bit of emeralds to buy a scene and PLEASE OH PLEASE quit with the Christmas music! That was done to death on the Jewel Match Snowscapes game.
And if the developers of these games read the reviews: Jewel Match has done more than it's share of castles, snow scenes and landscapes - how about a dinosaur game? :)
After that Game of Gods swore I'd never buy another Incredible Dracula and ate my words. Finally back to the "Drac" I know and love along with the zombies, Frankenstein, Vlad and the princess. This time Dracula and friends are off to stop the Ice Queen from freezing up the planet and it's fun all the way.
Follows pretty much the same game play; this time you have a fire station that creates "fireballs" to melt ice obstacles along with Blood Donalds (thank heaven no donuts), lumber mill, etc. Music is pleasant and doesn't distract from the game (like some does).
Just one thing developer: Please bring back the "vampy" original wife and get rid of the Kewpie doll!
Maybe because I haven't gotten that far into the game but what I've played so far I can't see any difference between this game and the other Hercules - workers collect resources, upgrade farms and workshops, run here, there and everywhere BUT there is something new - Hercules now kicks over mailboxes to send a letter to Megara and the music IMHO is absolutely awful. Wasted a game credit on this.

First even tho I play expert I like to start off as casual with a new game to get the feel of it. There are no play levels on this just bap right along as best you can. Easy at first and from the story line and graphics considered it more a child's game but not as you get further into it. Eventually you start running out of gems to buy power-ups so use carefully - had to play several levels over and over to complete. The ocean scenes are pleasant but the cutesy voices get annoying after awhile.
After playing one level seven times called it quits and uninstalled it. If you're looking for a casual game to take a break from the more heavy hitters so speak this isn't it.

And it did have a few redeeming qualities - I love farm and building games but have to agree with other fishies - entirely too slow at times. Can't believe you can't make matches until the other fruits fall which makes it very slow and thus monotonous at times. The only power-ups at least so far are a hammer and a shuffle key which takes forever to load after using. And of course the more you get into the game the more expensive the improvements cost so am predicting it will take forever once getting towards the end of the game.
If you want a fast paced and fun building game (which I was hoping for) this isn't for you.

If it hadn't been for the fact this was an Incredible Dracula game would have given it five stars since it is fun - but what happened with our Dracula? A court jester to Loki? Was very disappointed in this - PLEASE bring back the I.D. we know and love and not this type of nonsense! Donuts instead of Bloodonald's? And have played quite a bit into it and nowhere so far can you upgrade the buildings or zombies and some of the items are hard to see among the other mess of items needing to be picked up.

My favorite Jewel Match is Twilight so am glad to see something on the order of that and not jewels for a change which frankly at times can be a strain on the eyes. The game play hasn't changed in any great way other than the fact you are creating a garden which is right up my alley since I love garden games.
Music is soothing and doesn't distract from the game which a lot of them do, and to me is very easy (of course only halfway thru) which is nice for a rainy day when you don't want "brain drain" on more complicated games. It does take awhile to accumulate coins to buy power-ups and the needed tiles to purchase a garden section but that's my only issue.
I wish they had had a video of this game then I would have known it was the same game play as Legend of Egypt Pharaoh's Garden which I only half played then uninstalled. I'm normally not a match 3 fan but love building games so took the plunge without a tryout. I liked a fast-paced game and to me pieces fall to slow and I don't like having to get "achievements" before I can construct a building and the more you get into the game the longer it takes to get one.
May play a bit longer but have a feeling I'm going to uninstall it before I get halfway thru.
Was looking for a Halloween-themed game, read the reviews on this and bought it without downloading the trial. I have to admit was disappointed. Yes it is scary with things jumping out at you while "you" try to find your little sister who's been kidnapped by some spooky something or other. Did get startled by things that go bump in the night or jump out at you.
I usually play casual the first time until I get the feel of the game. Hint button fills fast, mini games are for the most part easy and like the gloomy and at times spooky atmosphere.
On the other hand this game is like 99.9% of other hidden object games of this type: back and forth between screens finding a key or some other gadget or gizmo which really gets done to death and a tad annoying at times.
Otherwise a well-done game. A bit late for Halloween but gets you in the mood for next year!
